Introduction: The Vapours Dozen E-Liquid
Today I’ll be sampling several flavours of e-liquid from a few different ranges by The Vapours Dozen.
With a wide range of choices inspired by flavours from around the world whilst being solely manufactured here in the UK, The Vapours Dozen claims to provide a rich, full bodied flavour with a smooth experience. Will I agree? Let’s find out!
The liquids are a 70% VG and 30%PG blend and I’ve added one 18mg nicotine shot to each 50ml short-fill to bring it up to 3mg nicotine strength.
I was sent 6 flavours to try:
- Strawberry Dodger
- Bongo
- Raspberry Slush
- Sex on the Beach
- Apple Jam
- Raspberry Jam
The bottles I was sent also featured a removable tip to make adding your nicotine shot (or even a cooling shot) much easier than trying to take off the full bottle top.
My trusty Aequitas RDA by Hellvape has fresh coils and wicks and I’m armed with a bag of muji vape cotton to rewick between flavours. Let’s get tasting!

Strawberry Dodger

Strawberry Jam with a scrumptious biscuit
I say…
As soon as you open the bottle, you know this is a cakey flavour from the vanilla biscuit aroma.
My first vape I was delighted with the strawberry jam taste on the inhale and the sweet, creamy biscuit on the exhale.
Definitely reminiscent of it’s namesake biscuit the Jammy Dodger. This is definitely a liquid for those of us with a sweet tooth, which I’d happily vape on all day long but if sweet juices aren’t your thing then you might want to overlook this one.
Bongo

Juicy apricots, mashed mango and mouth watering guava
I say…
I instantly know I’m not going to be a fan of this.
Having given up smoking using a mango flavoured e-liquid, I now feel instantly sick when I smell or try to vape anything mango flavoured.
For me, mango is definitely the stronger flavour here, although, I do get an aftertaste of fresh apricots rather than the candy kind.
A very tropical tasting flavour combination and an incredibly smooth vaping experience, but unfortunately not for me.
If mango flavours are your thing then I have no doubt you’ll enjoy this!
Raspberry Slush

Frozen raspberries. Tastes just like your favourite frozen drink with a light cool inhale/exhale!
I say…
Straight away my mouth is watering as soon as I smell this.
Exactly like it says on the tin, a frozen raspberry slushie drink that’s super smooth. Remember the red ones you got as a kid in the summer time that stained your tongue? That’s exactly how this tastes.
Although it definitely has a ‘cool’ tone to it, I’m not sure there’s any actual cooling or menthol in this eliquid. Maybe just a cleverly mixed flavour combination?
Sex on the Beach
The Vapours Dozen say…
A cheeky cocktail of juicy peach, succulent orange, tart cranberries and a shot of vodka
I say…
Straight away I can smell a light alcoholic scent from this liquid.
Instantly I can taste a subtle combination of orange and peach with a light aftertaste of cranberry. This is a very pleasant, tropical fruit type vape. Although the smell of the alcohol is different there, I’m not overly sure I can taste any vodka but it certainly reminds me of a virgin Sex on the Beach Cocktail.
If you’re looking for a little throwback to summer to get you through the cold months then this might be the flavour for you.
Apple Jam

A sweet blend of red and green apples that are so juicy it’ll leave you wanting more
I say…
When I first opened the bottle, I got a straight whiff of apple followed by a worrying chemical smell.
Thankfully, none of that chemical smell translated over into how this liquid tastes. Probably my favourite from this whole range, this liquid is 100% authentic apple with a mix of a sweet yet tart jelly like flavour. My mouth is watering with every puff I have of this.
It could be so easy to push this over the edge and have it way too sweet but the sour flavours from the green apple keep it perfectly balanced.
Raspberry Jam
The Vapours Dozen say…
With jammy raspberries, this jam is full of depth and is absolutely mouth watering. It’s just like spooning jam straight from the jar!
I say…
Similar to the Apple Jam, I got a first impression of artificial, chemical fruits.
However, absolutely none of that comes through on the flavour profile!
Sweet, sweet, sweet candied raspberries is what you get from inhale to exhale. It’s almost as if you could eat a scone and have this as the condiment.
Absolutely spot on description from The Vapours Dozen. This is by far the most authentic jam vape I’ve tried.
Final Verdict
If we brush over that mango assault on my taste buds, then I have to say I’m very impressed by the wide range of flavours from this The Vapours Dozen.
Every description from the website has been lived up to, almost exactly. I haven’t had a single harsh feeling from any of these liquids.
Overall, a great lineup of e-liquids and a quick look on the website will tell you that this is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of diversity of flavour profiles.
If, unlike me, you enjoy mango, then I’d happily recommend any vaper give these juices a go, but a special mention has to go to the jams!
very alarming to see this review as like the other comment suggests this reviewer promotes this company at time of review, obviously flavours are subjective but i can honestly say ive tasted a lot better myself than vapours dozen of like for like flavours, dont like the idea of a promoter doing a review, gives off al of th ewrog signals for a reputable organisation like ecigclick, albeit its understandable that your team did not know the situation, definitely something to watch out for in the future though.

Yeah in hindsight I can see why this may be an issue for some for sure. While it’s not something that we will do again I have discussed this with Simone and I’m happy that she has given her genuine thoughts on the product. We did put a disclaimer up there to let readers know and to make their own decisions though.

hey thanks for the reply, i understand readers will ultimitely make their own decisions, was just pointing this out as people are not so backward to think someone who openly over promotes a product is in no way shape or form gonna say anything against it regardless, thats just the reality we are in, it in no way puts me off ecigclick as i know a few of the reviewers on here and know how talanted and impartial they are.
