The Thunderhead Creations Tauren MTL V1.5 RTA is an update to the original Tauren MTL RTA.
Thunderhead Creations are a relatively quiet company but have plenty of fans! Previous Tauren atomisers include the Tauren Max RDTA, Tauren Solo RDA, Tauren BF RDTA and even the Tauren X-Pod pod kit!

As the name suggests this is for MTL (Mouth To Lung) vapers who prefer a tighter and more precise airflow control.

This is a single coil RTA with an innovative easy to use build deck.
To make building easier you can remove the “airflow basement” to install a coil and click it back into place. Also the air flow restriction insert is located in this component.
The airflow inserts come in many different options:
- Included in the kit are single hole inserts (x5) with 0.8, 1, 1.2, 1.8 or 2mm holes.
- You can also purchase additional multi hole inserts which are compatible.
Two posts with clamp screws are provided to secure the coil.
Air enters the RTA at the base which has an adjustable restriction control ring and then it passes to the airflow insert which can also be changed to suit. Making 2 adjustment options to tailor the airflow precisely.
The capacity is 2ml so is TPD compliant and you fill by removing the top cap of the tank. A metal sleeve with honeycomb design protects the tank glass.
There are 4 colours to choose from: Stainless Steel (SS), Silver Black, Gun Metal and Black.
