The T-Juice e-liquid review, actually, a new range of vape juice from an extremely well established and respected vape company.

Having only been vaping for 4 years, I missed out on the arms race that was the early days of e-liquids, a time that saw the likes of Red Astaire and Heisenberg dominate our tanks.

t-juice e-liquid review

So I could be forgiven for overlooking T-Juice as a manufacturer. With it’s mature, subdued packaging it really is a case of the product doing the talking, not flashy marketing.

Taking a peek into the history books of vaping I found out the following about T-Juice.

Based in North West London, T-Juice is one of 4 brands held by Cuts Ice e-liquid laboratories.

They have been knocking around since 2012 making them one of the longest running brands on the market today.

The company is vertically integrated with Flavourcore, and this allows it to design and manufacture their e-liquids securely and to a high standard.

What’s In the Box?

The mix of e-liquids I was sent to test out was quite diverse.

Not only did I receive 5x10ml bottles of 50:50 VG/PG e-liquids, I was also sent the new range of menthol based short fills that have a 70:30 VG/PG ratio.

Right, enough of this waffle, lets get tasting.

I received this sample free of charge for the purpose of this review and as always, my views are my own.

Please remember that tastes are subjective, and your experience may be different to mine.

For this review I used made use of 2 setups:

For the 70:30 ratios I used my SX-Mini G Class and the 24mm Dead Rabbit RDA with Staple Staggered Fused Clapton coils from Chris Grimes, coming in at 0.15Ohms, cleaned and re-wicked between each flavour.

T-Juice | Black and Blue

T-Juice E-liquid Review black_n_blue

T-Juice Say:

A devilish mix of blueberries and grapes is hosted by a full on aniseed candy kick, underlined by a refreshing menthol exhale. Likely to give Red Astaire a run for its money.

I Say:

Jumping straight into this one, I took a good sniff, what I got was a punch of aniseed with a backend of blackcurrant.

I was reminded of the old blackcurrant licorice sweet which I always loved as a kid.

There’s a gorgeous cooling at the front of the inhale and the aniseed is definitely the dominant flavour in this profile.

After vaping it for a while I could have been persuaded that the fruity back end was blueberries. However, whether it was blue or black berry I couldn’t be certain, but it was definitely a dark berry fruit.

The grape seems to have been welded to the aniseed part of the mix, as they swap places between the inhales. With the grape sometimes providing a softening role and other times being kicked to the back of the inhale.

This was gorgeous, not an all day vape for me as the level of aniseed was so powerful.

The throat feel is very clean and there is no harshness.

There was a huge juxtaposition between the warmth of the aniseed and the cooling of the menthol that I found hugely appealing.

I really did like this one a lot.

As I’ve never tasted Red Astaire, I can’t comment on it’s ability to beat it. But purely based on it’s own flavour profile, Black ‘N’ Blue is a winner for me.

I think this one will be joining me in my back garden pub!

T-Juice | Bohemian Custardy

T-Juice E-liquid Review bohemian_custardy

T-Juice Says:

T-Juice is happy to offer our Bohemian Custardy e-liquid – a heavenly sweet flavour that will rock your taste buds and transport you to an old school sweetshop! A smooth and creamy custard base is layered with notes of ripe red berries and hints of juicy exotic fruit. T-Juice Bohemian Custardy is a dream for all sweet-tooth vapers.

I Say:

Crikey Moses, I’ve never seen so many different flavourings on a label for a custard profile!

Taking a good nosefull I definitely got the creamy custard that was closely backed up by the candied strawberry. As for the other ingredients, only a taste will tell…

In my opinion there is far too much trying to go on in this flavour.

The custard does come through, but it has that cardboard texture that I find all too often in vapes of this type.

As for the fruit flavours, they were almost haphazard in their concentration. There was so much of a balance that I couldn’t get any individual flavours coming through, except for strawberry.

More of a kind of melting pot of flavours than a layering of profiles.

They might have been better of labeling this as a strawberry custard as that is the only thing I can taste.

This isn’t one I’ll be going back to.

T-Juice | Colonel Custard

T-Juice E-liquid Review colonel_custard

T-Juice Says:

Stand to attention! The colonel has arrived. In fact this beauty should be called the king of custards. This lush, creamy, custardy vape is so full of flavour, it will be hard to ever fill your tank with anything else.

I Say:

Cracking open the bottle I was met by a waft of I can only think of as sweet creme brulee. I really hope this is what it tastes like, as when it comes to a custard this is what I hope I get.

That’s more like it!!

A sweet custard wrapped up in a caramel coating. It’s sweet, but not in a fake way. It isn’t trying too hard and that’s a good thing.

At the front I’m met with the sweet caramel, it stands out a mile and is very welcoming and warming.

Taking it further back and the creaminess of the custard kicks in and washes round the back of the throat.

The exhale is pretty much the same in reverse, with the last thing to leave my lips is the sweet caramel.

I thoroughly enjoyed this and it went perfectly with my morning coffee!

T-Juice | Strawberri

T-Juice E-liquid Review strawberri

T-Juice Say:

Strawberries with a hint of cream and a subtle high note of raspberries make this a great fruit vape. An all day vape for many fruit lovers across Europe.

I Say:

Right then, the smell from the bottle is like a cross between strawberry laces and strawberry Nesquik drink.

Taking a hit from this I can say that the flavour is OK. The strawberry is quite soft and it definitely heads more into the milkshake category for me.

The strawberries start to come though better with every draw and it starts to become sweeter too.

All in all, if you are a strawberry fanatic who just has to try everything, I think you’ll be happy with this offering.

I didn’t find it moreish but found I had to keep vaping it more to keep the strawberry flavour from becoming lost.

T-Juice | Clara-T

T-Juice E-liquid Review clara_t

T-Juice Say:

There is no doubt that Red Astaire has met its match. Clara-T has a more subtle aniseed lick, and a tad more freshness, which will excite your taste buds and make your atomiser buzz.

I Say:

Flippin Nora’ that’s a strong smell!! The aniseed punches you square in the nostrils, although it does seem on the lighter side, I need to get this tasted quickly.

I purposely didn’t read the ingredients on the side of the box for this one and I had to say I was right about the addition of mint, black mint to be exact.

I’m going to be honest and say I have no idea what that is, but a quick google tells me it’s a close cousin to coriander.

Some absolute genius must have been making a curry and realized these work together and decided to put them together in an e-liquid, OK it’s has absolutely no curry taste but bear with me.

These 2 spices give a natural uplift to this e-liquid – it’s remarkably fresh.

The black mint is at the very front of the inhale, whilst the exhale is oozing with the taste of aniseed.

The taste keeps getting better and better the more you vape it.

To be honest I managed to clear the whole 10ml bottle in a single evening.

This is just beautiful!

T-Juice | Blood Ice Orange

tjuice_blood_ice_orange

T-Juice Say:

T-Juice is delighted to offer Blood Ice Orange – a new flavour shortfill designed to lighten your summertime blues! The best parts of a classic cocktail are the inspiration behind this smooth and flavourful e-liquid: sharp blood orange is balanced by sweet tropical fruit, and creamy vanilla is paired with a cool hint of menthol. This e-liquid is perfect for laying back and enjoying long days in the summer sun.

I Say:

I found it quite hard to place this when I was doing a sniff test.

There is an orangeness to it, but it isn’t as prominent as you’d get from an e-liquid that was based on perhaps an ice lolly flavour profile.

What I found curious is that it smelled cold, it that’s even possible.

Taking my first hit I was instantly refreshed, this is, without a doubt a full blown menthol vape, I love it!

I know that flavour profile is meant to be slanted towards a cocktail/drink, but I get 100% Lockets throat sweets.

It’s cooling and soothing and absolutely refreshing.

The orange/citrus burst is there and it perfectly compliments the ice.

It’s cold on the way in and cold on the way out, a complete sinus clearer.

This might be one for the mega-hot days we’ve been having, but I know for certain that this is going to be a favourite of mine come the winter time!

I think T-juice might just have found a menthol customer…

Yes please, more of this icy-coldness!

T-Juice | Polarised

Tjuice_polarised

T-Juice Says:

T-Juice is happy to introduce Polarised – a smooth e-liquid flavour that’s perfect for relaxing in the summer sun. The perfect blend of smooth cream, sweet vanilla and icy cool menthol is a great all day vape, especially for sunny days when you need something smooth, sweet and minty to cool you off!

I Say:

Taking a sniff from the bottle and I got the over-riding smell of chewing gum, that punchy icy coolness was just so fresh.

Taking my first hit I was met with a full blown ice-berg, this is definitely a big hitter.

I’m sure there will be cream and vanilla somewhere in the profile, but for me this is a full blown fox’s glacier mint.

It’s cold and fresh. It seems to me T-Juice has found its niche with menthol flavours.

The mouth-feel is smooth and easy to take long hits from.

It’s so fresh and moreish, the danger of brain freeze is high, but I welcome it.

This is so good, the aftertaste is soft and in no way bitter. Once again, this will be a keeper for me and I can’t wait to put it to the test on a really hot day.

If you were a menthol smoker, then this is definitely a recommended e-liquid from me.

T-Juice | Minted

tjuice_minted

T-Juice Says:

T-Juice gladly offers Minted – a brand new mint e-liquid flavour from our Summertimes Blues range designed to brighten up your summer! This e-liquid is the perfect option for cooling off on hot sunny days – the perfect pairing of icy menthol and sweet spearmint creates a refreshing flavour for summer.

I Say:

The first thing I thought when I took a sniff from this bottle was that it reminded me of the mint herb that you would grown in your back garden (or muddle in your mojito in my case).

There’s a softer side to this e-liquid than found from the other menthol offerings I was sent my T-Juice.

Oh my god…this is the one – it’s fresh, it’s light, and it tastes almost natural in the case of the mint profile.

The inhale is cold from the start but it’s at the back of the draw that I found the spearmint kick in. I think the closest real world example of this is Wrigleys double mint chewing gum!

It is immense, the freshness stays with you as you wait to take your next draw.

For me, it hits the spot as a summer time vape 100%!

Final Review Verdict

For me, the offerings of the new T-Juice e-liquid range was a mixed bag, though taste is always subjective.

I found the simpler their flavour profile was, the better the resulting e-liquid.

My stand out favourites were the aniseed and menthol profile.

They have hit these out of the park and I’d especially recommend the new menthol line to any former menthol smokers, especially the “Minted” offering.

Both the 50:50 and 70:30 VG/PG ratio e-liquids wicked really well. The clouds were good and the draw was smooth.

One stand out statement from me though would be, if you like mint get their menthols in your rotation!

So are you a big fan of T-Juice e-liquid?

Are these flavours among your favourites?

Red Beard Vapes

I began vaping 18 months ago after circumstances saw me reaching for the cigarettes once again. I have a fondness for tattoos and piercings but my beard is my most distinguishing feature and you will regularly find it enjoy a decent pint in a decent pub. MY DTL set up is an SX Mini G-Class with a 24mm dual coil Dead Rabbit. Vaping has quickly become a massive interest of mine.

tjuice-eliquid-reviewThis was a very mixed bag of flavours. Some were excellent and some just didn't hit the mark for me. I wouldn't be put off from buying other e-liquids from T-Juice, but I don't think I'd go experimenting with unfmailiar profiles. There are some really good examples of great juice here. Please let me know what you think in the comments. But remember, taste is always subjective.
