Real Wood Wraps? Wudbx Skins Deliver
WUD Skins are made in Virginia Beach, America by Wudbx, a company comprised of individuals who have been present in the vaping business since 2008. The Skins themselves had been in development for 6 months, with testing done on multiple wood types, stains, finishes and laser treatments before their official launch at ECC in Los Angeles.
Their main aim is to offer customers a pocket friendly option of being able to convert their current mod into a real wood box mod, which are usually very highly priced and limited on stock. WUD Skins are intended as a high end mod skinning option, but at an affordable price.
They are always looking to add different skin options to their already expansive range!

Are They Easy To Use?
WUD Skins are dead easy to apply, simply wipe down your mod before application with the Isopropyl Alcohol wipe, and follow the instructions supplied in the package.
The instructions are clear and easy to follow, you have instructions in writing as well as a visual guide on where to place each individual sticker panel on your mod. It’s easy to line everything up and ensure it slots into the desired position on your mod.
You just need to ensure the skin lines up with everything on your mod, and apply each individual panel. Should you make a mistake when applying each section of the skin, you can still move the panel around before pressing down to seal it.
It took me next to no time at all to apply the skin and get a great new look on my beat up IPV D2!
Just keep this in mind. The skins can only be applied once. They have a strong andhesive so removing the skin will render it unusable. Your mod will survive however! The adhesive wipes off easily.
Just be sure to take your time and set everything up correctly from the off and you should have no problems applying it.

How Do The WUD Skins look?
It’s given my old IPV D2 a new lease of life!
Previously the black finish was scratched up on my IPV D2 unit and my IPV D2 was looking pretty tired, however after applying my WUD skin to the IPV D2 it’s like having a whole new mod all over again.
The finish is real wood and quality of the highest order, and makes my IPV D2 feel like a premium high end box mod. It feels comfortable in the hand as well, the wood is smooth with no rough edges and it feels nice in hand.
Really impressed with how the WUD Skin has made my IPV D2 look, it’s a beautiful looking skin for sure, and it’s given one of my favourite mods a whole new lease of life!

Final WUD Review Verdict
WUD Skins are a beautiful option to give a tired old mod a fresh new look, or even to provide your favourite mod with a fresh, scratch resistant wood finish. These have a real premium look to them as well, and the wood grains themselves are of the highest standard.
There’s a whole wealth of different WUD Skins available for different mods, with more on the horizon to come, and most of the popular units available are covered (pun intended!).
The quality of these is absolutely perfect, they are easy to apply and leave little residue behind and the price is good too, WUD Skins definitely have to be the best mod skins I’ve ever used.
