Top Choice Vape Tanks & Clearomizers For Mouth To Lung Vaping
Jacvapour S22 Tank
The Jacvapour S22 tank new release by the team at JAC and a very good one at that.
It’s a no nonsense design that is built to last. The S22 has a bottom fill design that allows you to change your coil with juice still in the tank. Always a good thing.
The tank also allows you to dabble with sub ohm coils as it comes with both a 1.0Ohm coil and 0.5Ohm coil. Of course the latter will need an e cig that can fire sub ohm coils.
In short, the Jacvapour S22 tank is a worthy contender when choosing a mouth to lung e cig tank.
- 2 X Coil heads – 1.0 ohm and 0.5 ohm
- Easy to fill
- Solid, well built tank
Vapour2 Trinity Tank
The Vapour2 Trinity tank is an excellent tank for mouth to lung vapers. The exceptional build quality is backed up by excellent performance from the 1.2Ohm coil.
I used this tank for a number of weeks and two things hit home with me, the coil life and the fact I didn’t have so much as a drip of leakage. It’s top fill tank that is super convenient and also has a feature that allows you to close of the e-liquid holes when not in use.
Like many of the new vape tanks being released V2 have also included a 0.8Ohm coil that provides a slightly warmer vape and a touch more clouds. A good coil but not as good, for me, as the 1.2Ohm.
A tank you can’t go too far wrong with.
- 2 X Coil heads – 1.2 ohm and 0.8 ohm
- Easy top fill
- Excellent build quality
- Good flavour and clouds
- Zero leaks in my time of use
Aspire Nautilus 2
The Aspire Nautilus 2 is the latest addition to the Nautilus line up of tanks and in our opinion one of the best mouth to lung tanks yet.
Good news as well, if you are a user of the original Nautilus and Triton tanks, the Nautilus 2 is compatible.
Filling the tank is simple and easily done by unscrewing the outer tank cover whick also acts to protect the glass from any knocks.
Another excellent option from Aspire that should be considered carefully.
- 2 X coil heads included: 1 X 0.7ohm and 1 X 1.8 Ohm Coil head
- Easy top fill design
- Great build quality
- Excellent flavor
- Compatible with Nautilus and Triton coils (Not Nautilus X)
Aspire Nautilus Mini
The Nautilus Mini by Aspire is not a new vape tank by any means but to this day it still remains one of the best clearomizers for flavor while producing a good amount of vapor.
The Nautilus tank parts can also be completely broken down making it easy to clean.
For those of a clumsy nature there are also metal sleeves available to buy separately that reduces the chances of breaking the Pyrex tank. The ‘hollowed out’ mesh sleeve looks fantastic.
This vape tank has a diameter of 18mm and a juice capacity of 2ml. A great first tank for any vaper. The 1.8ohm Aspire Triton coils are compatible and highly recommended for great flavour so be sure to check them out.
- 2 X BVC Coil heads – 1.6 ohm and 1.8 ohm
- 510 threading (If you have an EGO vape pen you will need an adapter)
- Easy clean
- Metal tank sleeves available to protect your glass
- Compatible with Aspire Triton Mini coils
Innokin Endura T20
The Endura Vape pen (T18 and T20) from Innokin has been one of the best kits for new vapers.
Here we have the T20 tank that will of course work on most devices, not just the Endura kit.
Simple to use with good flavour and widely available. Another tank that’s simple to use offering good flavour and a good starting point for new vapers or of course vapers looking to add a MTL tank to their setup.
The only real downside is that it only comes with one coil, however, it is a well priced tank from the outset.
- Comes with 1 X 0.5Ohm tank
- Well built
- Topfill design
- Good MTL vape performance
- Replacement coils widely available
Joyetech Exceed D19/D22 Tank
The Joyetech Exceed tank comes in two versions, the D19 and the D22. The numbers simply relate to the diameter of the tank in millimetres. The D22 is better suited to vape mods and the D19 vape pen style devices.
You can of course use them however you see fit though 🙂
We have recently reviewed both tanks with their respective kits and Laura-Ann and Michelle both found them to offer some good flavour and found them a welcome addition to the MTL tank scene. Add to this the easy top fill function and it makes for an easy tank to get use.
- 2ml / 3.5ml capacity
- Airflow control
- Great flavour
- Coils can be switched between the two tanks
- Easy top fill
Digiflavor Siren 2 GTA
OK, this may not be a tank for beginner vapers, or at least vapers that don’t want to use rebuildable coils but for those that don’t mind installing and wicking their own coils the Digiflavor Siren 2 offers superb quality and performance all round.
The tank features top fill, an easy deck to build on and did we mention the flavour from the Siren is superb?
The tank is available in 22mm and 24mm versions featuring 2ml (TPD complaint) and 4.5ml capacity respectively.
A welcome and much needed addition to the MTL vape tank world.
- Superb flavour
- Top notch build quality
- RBA deck (Build your own coils or buy pre-made)
- Top Fill
So there we have it. Our top picks for the best vape tanks and clearomizers. It’s only a small list but with the age of sub ohm vaping upon us many manufacturers seem to have set aside the clearomizer for new vapers to concentrate on sub ohm tanks.Hopefully we will see a change in this trend as these category of product is very important for new vapers.
There are others such as the Kanger Evod tanks and Aspire CE5 clearomizers that can be picked up for cheap prices. The above though will offer more in terms of quality and performance.
If you are a direct lung inhaler then check out our top rated sub ohm tanks. Many are available with coil resistances over 1.0 Ohm so you can have a quality tank without the ‘sub ohm’ element.
