The Fractal DNA 75C Mod By Cthulhu Previewed
The Cthulhu Fractal DNA 75C mod is a new true wood and resin mod.
The mod is made from “Stab Wood” which is natural wood mixed with a resin material to preserve, stabilise and enhance the beauty. Also with this process every mod has a unique appearance.
Inside the mod is the Evolv DNA 75C chip which will output up to 75W and supports colour screen display.
The screen is a 0.96 colour TFT screen with the familiar DNA-C 3 button layout below.
You can use a single 18650, 20700 or 21700 battery to power the Fractal – none are included in the kit. The battery is inserted via a battery cap which screws into the base of the mod.
The buttons are sandblasted 304 stainless steel and the 510 contact is silver plated.
The front panel is made from Bullet Aluminium.
As you would expect from a DNA chip this also has temperature control and TCR.
Here is an introduction video from the Cthulhu website – otherwise the details are pretty vague!
There are 4 colour options to choose from but the finish will vary with this using natural wood – Blue, Green, Red or Purple.

The price of this is making my toes curl it does have to be said, but Stab wood devices are unique and pricey. Add to that an Evolv DNA-C chip and the costs are mounting up.
