The Dovpo College DNA60 Mod is a new but “Old School” type of box mod which is a collaboration between Dovpo and Deer vape.
This is classed as a “Side by side” style mod – in that the battery compartment sits next to the atomizer rather than underneath as on most box mods.
What To Expect From The Dovpo College DNA60 Mod?
It’s been a while since we saw and Side by Side devices – the last one I have found on EcigClick is the Smoant Knight V1 back in 2016.
Following on with the old school theme the mod has an Evolv DNA60 chipset which hasn’t been seen for quite a while – generally replaced by the DNA75 and DNA200 chips.
Although not mentioned on the product page the Dovpo Facebook page states that this mod has Variable Wattage and Temperature control user modes.
To power the mod you will need a single 18650 battery which is not included in the kit and it fits below the removable battery cap.
Like me you might be looking at this and thinking you would need to pair the mod with a smaller diameter tank – however Dovpo state this is compatible with up to 24mm tanks which does cover the majority of atomisers available now.
The DNA60 chip as the name suggests will output up to 60W and the base of the device houses the OLED display screen but the size is not specified.
A USB port is provided for emergency charging and firmware updates if available. It is not stated what type of USB port is supplied but the charging time of 2-3 hours is mentioned in the specs.

Is “Old School” still “Cool”? I like the fact you can use up to 24mm attys on here so that is definitely an upgrade.

DNA 75c and DNA 250 you mean surely? The 75 and 200 are old news now. And the 60 isn’t really old news as it’s the board of choice for most high end mods.
