Today I’m taking a look at Chinese vape manufacturer Elux. To be more specific, the Elux Legend Mini II disposable vapes.
To me, Elux are a company that seemingly sprung up out of nowhere. Yet they were established way back in 2013. Go figure.
2022 was a pivotal year for the manufacturer with the release of the Elux Legend 3500 disposable and an award for best disposable E-cig as voted by the vaping community. Although non TPD, I believe the Legend 3500 really put them on the vaping map.
In fact this product has now had over 57K views on my YouTube channel – proof it’s a disposable of considerable interest.
It’s since gone on to spawn a baby in the shape of the Elux Legend Mini disposable.
So we can safely say Elux are now one of the fastest growing brands. Much of this is down to their innovation and commitment.
Product quality, the use of advanced materials and state of the art designs all play important roles in their overall mission to create a brand that really makes a difference.

Let’s find out if the Elux Legend Mini II provides us with a legendary vaping experience, shall we?
What Can We Expect From the Elux Legend Mini II Disposable Vapes?
As the name suggests, this is an upgrade to the OG Legend Mini disposable. We now have extra clout in the form of a 550mAh integrated battery and an improved 1.2ohm mesh coil to keep things chugging along.
Fun fact: Mesh provides additional surface area heating and more efficient wicking over traditional single vertical coils. For this reason they tend to offer stronger flavour and better vapour production.
In other words, they’re ideal for use in disposable vapes.
There’s 2ml of 50VG/50PG E-liquid sloshing around inside combined with a salt nicotine strength of 20mg to keep those cigarette craving well under control. The Elux Legend Mini II doesn’t come in any other strengths.
Since salt nicotine is non-abrasive on the throat and delivers an instant hit, it’s ideal for helping those newest to vaping.
Arriving fully charged, the disposable is ready to be vaped straight out of the box. No messing with USB charging cables and no buttons to activate. Simply draw from the mouthpiece and away you go.
..And keep going for anything up to 600 puffs. I’ll be testing that here too.
So there are many flavours to choose from in the range. These vary from fruits, drinks, sweets, mint and dessert based profiles. Many contain a dash of ice.

Unfortunately I was unable to glean any flavour descriptions for those being sampled so I’m going in blindfolded. Sometimes that’s the best way – free from a certain level of expectation.
Apple Peach Pear
I Say:
Well this one has a very distinctive and original flavour blending and I have to be honest, I’m very much reminded of the taste of Rum! Yes, you read that correctly.
A synthesised Apple pulls through on initial inhale and that’s the first flavour to strike home. Yet as I stated, it’s not the fruit leaving the longest impression on me with Apple Peach Pear.
Now whether that has anything to do with overall blending between the Peach and Pear I couldn’t say.
I certainly don’t feel there’s any Peach present in the mix but I can detect Pear and that is quite fruity.
We’re not getting the strongest or most concentrated of flavour either which suits me down to the ground. You won’t find anything particularly sweet or sickly with this one. Another bonus.
Rum and ice. That’s the best way to describe things. Since that’s also my favourite tipple you can probably guess were this one’s heading in terms of score line.
Yes, it’s way off what I was expecting but who cares? I like it. A lot.
Cotton Candy
I say:
Yeah this one taste very familiar – and I Likey!
It’s an attempt at your typical fairground Strawberry candy floss. I say attempt and by that I mean a pretty good attempt.
The cooling agent provides just the right level of chill so at the same time it may remind some of a refreshing Strawberry ice cream.
The dead giveaway here is the elevated level of sweetness, needed to give it that fairground vibe. And it works well.
So I’m personally thinking Cotton Candy is a mix of candy floss and Ice cream in terms of the flavour experience. A bit of a hybrid vape if you like.
Each exhale is as strong and as concentrated a flavour as you could expect from a disposable vape. Quite rich tasting and the version of Strawberry used is very moreish and certainly pleasant enough to keep returning to.
Damn fine job!
Peach Mango
I Say:
Spot on! With just one exception. The sweetness. If only it could have been toned down a few levels, Peach Mango was on its way to hitting maximum scoring.
Once again there’s my hang up with excessive use of Koolada to take into account. (So I guess that’s two things, really!) The last thing you want is a distraction from the main ingredients but here it is again, stealing the vape show.
And that is a shame because the blend between Mango and Peach is one of the finest I’ve come across in a disposable for a long time.
You can pick out both without reservation and that’s the acid test of great flavour mixing.
Nothing comes across as exaggerated or overly concentrated – that very often is the case with Mango and it’s very easy to experience that slight roughness of the Peach.
Neither is it particularly artificial tasting which is another bonus.
Look past the added sweetener and increased Cooling levels and Peach Mango is a vape worth savouring.
Very pleasant indeed in terms of flavour.
Strawberry Energy
I Say:
Ok. I see what Elux have done here.
Combined the taste of Vimto with Strawberry. Have they succeeded?
To an extent they’ve pulled it off. I say extent because there’s more of the Vimto than there is Strawberry. In fact Vimto is what you’ll predominantly come away with when it comes to the after taste.
But what it does demonstrate is how well Elux have mastered flavour mixing. I didn’t think this combination would work but it actually does on quite a grand scale.
You’re presented very early on with the Strawberry then the vape becomes engulfed by the Vimto aspect of things. So it’s a clever blend and one that you can never lose out on.
Yes, there’s still lots of sweetness to the exhale but given the idea, I think all can be forgiven with Strawberry energy.
It has more than enough kick to keep things moving along.
.. More energy than I have, come to think of it!
Strawberry Ice Cream
I Say:
It’s a Strawberry ice cream vape, that’s without any shadow of a doubt.
Elux have carefully removed some of the sweetness from Cotton Candy and provided us with the very same version of Strawberry.
The icy cold chill to the throat kicks in early doors on the inhale and then combines with the light and fluffy Strawberry and Vanilla.
My only fault is that Koolada doesn’t and never will replace the experience of licking or biting down on an ice cream.
However, overall taste is both pleasant and moreish – Ok, it’s not what I would class as a perfect replica to the popular dessert but you’ll definitely be familiar with the taste that’s kicked out.
Vimto
I Say:
I get quite a strong whiff of Orange when smelling the mouthpiece, which makes me wonder if I’m going to get what I expect from Vimto.
The flavour is quite extreme and absolutely pops on the first exhale and yes, Orange is most certainly present in this highly concentrated formula.
It begins with a barrage of sweet and sour on the inhale, followed up with what I would personally describe as excessive cooling agent. It sears the throat and hangs around for an eternity – something I dislike about disposable vapes.
The taste is very reminiscent of Iron Bru but on a toned down scale. That’s because Elux have crammed Vimto with a group of other fruits in the form of sweet berries.
Strawberry, Blackcurrant and Blueberry are the ones that mix seamlessly together. With hints of Orange running throughout exhale.
Vimto is a disposable on steroids! Masses of flavour, oodles of sweetness and excessive Koolada. If that sounds like your vape bag, give it a go. You probably won’t be disappointed.
Battery Performance and Number of Puffs
I managed five and a half hours use. For my vaping patterns that represents around 400 puffs. So I did feel a bit let down on that score. Admittedly I was RDL vaping as much as MTL but the inhales weren’t particularly extended that much.
So it was something of a surprise to prematurely witness a blinking LED on the base of the disposable. Also a surprise in that I never noticed any flavour degradation as the battery failed.
Each vape was as consistent and tasty as the previous. Something that held up to the very last moment, along with decent vapour production.
Final Review Verdict
Don’t be thrown off by the box size. I think it’s just to add presence when stacked on the shelves of vape shops.
At 103mm in height and 15mm cubed, the Elux Legend Mini II is just that. Quite a mini sized disposable. That makes it perfectly pocket friendly and also incredibly light. Attributes you need from a disposable vape.
Anyway, this little lot is bursting with flavour and consistent with every vape. I guess if you’re going to design a disposable vape you’re best off doing it properly. Elux certainly have!
Not one of the fruity flavours was off kilter and we’ve been treated to some really nice mixing along the way too.
Strawberry and Vimto combined – Who’d have thunk it?
Vapour production is awesome for a disposable, too. Of course we can expect an increase if RDL vaping (which I enjoyed) but the restriction is also set for a very polished MTL draw. So I got the best of both vaping styles – no complaints from moi, whatsoever.
It seems Elux are showing other disposable manufacturers how it should be done. In the very least, that’s what I think, anyway.
