Today I’m taking a look at the new FlerBar range of disposable vapes.
FlerBar. That’s a new one on me. I haven’t heard of them as a manufacturer and maybe not that surprising when we learn that they’re relatively new to the vape scene.
They are a European outfit who set up shop in 2020. Comprised of a young crew, they’re committed to fighting the war against the dread ‘C’ sticks. After witnessing the popularity of the disposable e-cig, they latched onto their effectiveness as a healthier alternative to smoking.
FlerBar was born. It looks like they currently have a good association with the UK, France and Germany. For this reason, their products are currently only available in TPD form.
They’ve also been putting themselves about a bit. They had a stall at the recent Vapitaly International Vaping Exhibition in Verona, Italy. Right now at the time of writing, they’re making their presence felt in the hallowed halls of the Vape Expo, Birmingham NEC, in the UK.
Does the FlerBar disposable vape make its presence felt in this review? Let’s find out.
What Can We Expect From The FlerBar Range Of Disposable E-cigs?
They’ve gone for a slightly different look, for starters. The disposable is housed inside a crystal clear plastic that has a smooth yet grippy feel. They use the word elegant on their website and I’m inclined to agree.
I can still see the joins where the plastic sleeve meet but that’s just me – being picky as usual! lol
Anyway, as alluded to the FlerBar is only available as a juice capacity of 2ml, keeping things in line with current TPD regulations. It includes 20mg of salt nicotine and there’s a 500mAh integrated (single use) battery designed to power the e-cig for anything up to 600 puffs.
After that it needs to be disposed of. Responsibly, please.
I’ve been sent half the range of flavours available, six of which I’m reviewing today. The remaining ones will be posted via updates over the next few weeks.
From the full range of twenty, Tobacco, fruit, mint and beverages all feature – and they’re mostly the usual suspects. FlerBar are playing it safe with these, it seems.

FlerBar – Ice Mint
Enjoy an ice-cold sensation with each puff when you vape the Ice Mint FlerBar disposable vape. There are sweet and spicy notes to enjoy whilst the 20mg hybrid salt nicotine takes care of your cravings.
This is a nice, refreshing spearmint inspired vape and the icy content has been played very well. It doesn’t line the back of the throat in the way others do.
There’s a very good partnership between the cooling and the mint content that refreshes the inside of the mouth.
In order to ‘get’ the spicier notes described it’s best to purge on the disposable. They’re not really part of the vape in general, only being traceable on shorter, snappier pulls.
Mint Ice will act as a good palate cleanser when switching between other flavours. An ideal way of resetting the taste buds, if you like.
It takes a while for those flavour notes to dissipate too which is another sign of good blending, methinks.
If you’re new to vaping and you liked Menthol cigarettes, consider giving this one a try. There are a lot of similarities.
FlerBar – Guava Ice
The Guava Ice FlerBar offers a unique vape filled with sweet, slightly nutty guava combined with a refreshing, cool menthol flavouring.
Guava. It’s an odd fruit to me. I’m never really sure what to make of it since it’s usually buried in with a host of others. It’s hard for me to decipher it. Is that the case here?
I pick out a pungent smell when ripping open the vacuum sealed bag. The aroma seems like a mix between mango and orange.
The sweetness hit the back of the nose and even invades it during the exhale! The Menthol content is a winner. Instead of being harsh or overpowering it complements the fruit perfectly.
It’s a very smooth and subtle balance with the flavour too. There are plenty of citrus like elements to negotiate before working out how best to describe Guava Ice.
Maybe some orange? A hint of lemon? Whatever it is, it bounces around the sweet and sour nature of the vape constantly confusing me. (Not hard to do!)
Let’s just say it’s a very tropical vape experience that I happen to enjoy and appreciate. For a fruit that seems totally devoid of flavour categorisation it still works!
FlerBar – Passion Fruit
The Passion Fruit FlerBar offers an extremely pleasant taste of sweet, slightly tart but overall enjoyable passionfruit.
There’s a lot of texture, tone and depth to Passion Fruit and it absolutely bursts with flavour notes. It’s a very bright and lively vape with Mango, Pineapple and Orange influences, in my opinion.
Even the shortest of tugs will produce a flavour fest and the concentrate levels are well mixed. During the inhale there’s a slow build up of Coolada and yes, it will stick to the back of the throat but in all honesty it’s not a major gripe.
It doesn’t seem to be mentioned in the flavour description I picked out either, but there ya go! No biggie.
The exhale is laced with a tart like quality but runs alongside the inherent sweetness of the vape. As a combined force, they help to create that tone I mentioned at the beginning.
Sugar lips with this one? Oh yes. Passion Fruit is lip smackingly good in that respect. I do appreciate the fusion of flavours on offer and again, as mentioned provide some added depth.
Passion Fruit is one I could happily vape all day and especially so throughout the Summer months.
FlerBar – Chewy Watermelon
The Chewy Watermelon FlerBar offers a one-fruit vape filled with juice, sweetness and freshness.
This is a slightly different take on Watermelon and not quite the taste I was expecting. That’s probably because FlerBar have gone for a much more sweet version. Yes, lots of disposables have addition sweetener in them but here I mean sweet as in ‘a packet of’.
FlerBar have succeeded because Watermelon comes across as a gummy style variety of sweet. Yet it still manages to include the bitterness and sourness that the authentic fruit brings with it.
The flavour has a tendency to linger around for a while and attaches itself to the rear of the nose, if that makes sense. It’s not an overpowering experience and actually quite pleasant.
Indeed there’s a bucket load of juicy flavour to be found in Watermelon and concentration levels are very high. I’m quite impressed because I haven’t really come across this rendition on my vaping journey, which places it firmly in the ‘unique’ category.
So for this, I give FlerBar high praise.
As expected Coolada plays a key role again and helps to lift the flavour. It could easily have created a much sharper and intense vape but the Watermelon remains the key focus, which is good.
A finely crafted all day vape, in my humble opinion.
FlerBar – Strawberry Ice
The Strawberry FlerBar offers a simple yet effective vape filled with one fruit – strawberries. The Strawberries alone create a fresh, sweet and juicy vape which is combined with hybrid nicotine to provide a strong yet smooth throat hit.
Does anyone remember those old Chewit sweets? Or even Opal Fruits? Yeah – I’m sure you do. The Strawberry version is here, in Strawberry Ice.
How pleasant is this vape? Very, very. Ok, there is a lot of sweetness included but this version of the popular Summer fruit is just so tasty!
The flavour spills from the exhale and lasts for the duration of the vape. Given that this is a simple, single flavour FlerBar have pulled out all the stops to make sure you’re actually getting what you’ve paid for.
There’s even a juiciness attached to the exhale but the vape never introduces any wetness on the tongue. All good stuff!
Although Coolada is once again in partnership it’s not very obtrusive, providing more of a freshness to the overall taste experience.
I would suggest this is an all year round vape that, for me at least, won’t lose any of its appeal.
FlerBar – Lychee Ice
The Lychee Ice FlerBar offers a distinct taste of sweet, aromatic Lychee. Just when you think it can’t get any better, the overtone of ice cold menthol comes through.
Lychee is a bit like Guava to me. I’m never sure if I’m actually ‘getting’ it. Or the reason how, where or why it’s included with multi layered, complex vapes. Then again, I don’t confess to being a mixologist.
However, and also like Guava, Lychee gives me a fighting chance to at least describe how it tastes when isolated. Work with me..! lol
The general aroma is similar to that of a toiletry product! (Go on! Laugh it up!). Let’s just hope the vape improves upon that..
Ok, my first impression is of Turkish Delight. In fact, I’m very much reminded of that soft, powdery treat. Not the chocolate covered version but the ones found in expensive tins with paper around them.
Pauper, I hear you cry! lol
I’ve got to say it’s fantastic. Lychee is another FlerBar creation that’s simply bursting with flavour from the sweetness of the inhale to the incredibly moreish taste on the way out.
It’s also very fragrant, floral and aromatic (maybe where the toiletry remark originates), providing an additional layer not found in the other flavours tested.
I’ve left the icy cold accompaniment till last because it’s kind of irrelevant when something tastes this good.
I think you’ll know how I’m scoring Lychee..
FlerBar – Grape
Ripe and juicy grapes with a sweet and juicy aftertaste.
The Coolada in Grape sooths the back of the throat on the inhale. It’s not an over powering effect and plays it’s role in the refreshing exhale.
A layering of sweetness enters almost instantly and remains mixed in with the cooling agent. It also leaves it’s sugary goodness on the lips afterwards.
The sourness to the Grape is pretty much left to a few back notes while the fruit itself tastes quite fresh although also a little synthetic.
It’s similar to quite a lot of generic, single flavour vapes currently on the market.
There’s more sweetness than there is juiciness too. It’s not the taste you would expect to receive from the fruit but will no doubt still appeal to a newer, less fussy vaper than I!
FlerBar – Apple Ice
A lovely vape filled with the flavours of orchard apples and refreshing menthol.
This is a very juicy and mouth watering vape. The Menthol content blends seamlessly in with the fresh green Apples. The fruit is very succulent and really doesn’t have any kind of chemical or artificial after taste which is a pleasant relief.
There’s a fine balance between the sweet and tart like qualities of the fruit and neither cancel each other out. Yes, it’s a very appealing take and one that continuously delivers.
FlerBar have gone all out to ensure maximum flavour quality with Apple Ice. After a while the Menthol does leave a lining on the lips and fleetingly catches the rear of the throat during inhale but like I just wrote – balances perfectly with the elevated level of fruit concentrate applied.
It’s just like chomping down on a freshly picked garden Apple. Juicy, ripe and very tasty.
FlerBar – Strawberry Lemonade
A well balanced vape which is fresh, sweet and fruity. The zest of the Lemons blends well with the sweetness of the Strawberries, creating a delightful vape.
The lemonade is most prominent and it’s just like the refreshing beverage I like to drink. That’s especially the case when combined with a deft layering of Koolada. It’s not too intense, neither will it sear the back of the throat or linger for an annoyingly long period.
In this respect, the lemonade content wins hands down. It’s flavoursome, very refreshing and quite authentic tasting.
The same can’t really be said of the Strawberry element. It’s quite distant and when I can pick it out resembles one of those soft chewy bootlace sweets. I find it doesn’t complement or mix well with what else is on offer.
We have a natural tasting beverage with a sweet inspired berry. The two don’t quite work.
There’s still enough sweetness to constantly lift the vaping experience and it works well in tandem with the cooling inhale.
FlerBar – Pineapple Ice
A sweet vape filled with flavours of exotic Pineapple mixed with frosty ice. This vape will keep you refreshed throughout the day.
Mega sweet! It doesn’t shy away either and is presented at the very first moment of inhale. So is the tangy nature of the Pineapple which prepares you for the flavour explosion ahead.
The cooling agent isn’t particularly over done on the inhale but does leave a lingering legacy on the back of the throat post vape. So be prepared for that.
Overall it does complement the fruit which is tasty, juicy and refreshing at the same time. That’s the best way to describe Pineapple Ice because it delivers the goods with every single vape.
Think of those old school Pineapple chunk cube sweets and you’re getting the idea. That includes all the associated sugary coating.
Pineapple Ice is a flavour banger, without doubt. It’s just like eating the hard candy sweet without having to worry about the ensuing toothache!
FlerBar Disposable E-cigarette – Final Review Verdict
The FlerBar range come complete with a silicone stopper attached to the mouthpiece and a sticker that needs to be removed from the base. Remove this – unless you’re trying to gain the neck muscles of Arnie! lol
The vapes are a little on the loose side for my liking. The acid test is if I can pull off a restrictive lung hit and I can with the FlerBar range. Flavour quality still remains better when vaped as a mouth to lung (MTL) vape, regardless.
I just prefer my cheeks to pucker up a bit more! Ooh err..
Oh, nearly forgot! The base of the disposable emits a funky ice blue LED during the auto draw. It looks pretty cool through that crystal clear plastic.
These are high grade flavours, folks. I think a lot of effort has been put into them to ensure a greater attention span. I’ve even had the opportunity to test a few fruits in isolated form, discovering along the way what I think of them. No doubt different from yourselves but as we all know ‘taste is subjective’.
What a get out clause! lol
Vapour production satisfies to the same degree as most disposable e-cigs. You won’t be getting any angry stares from bespectacled elderly folk in head scarfs and long coats.
So overall, FlerBar have done a damn fine job with their range. I look forwards to updating the list in the near future.
