One of the latest additions to the Lost Vape Orion Bar range of disposables is the Lost Vape Movement LV 18K. In this review I will be having a look at a selection of six of these!

Lost Vape have grown into a very popular vaping manufacturer over the years. They have diversified into pod systems such as the Lost Vape Orion Mini as well as AIO systems like the Lost Vape Centaurus B60 & B80.

They have their own Orion Bar range of disposables and we have previously reviewed a couple of these, the Orion Bar 10000 and OB5500 for example.

***Before I start this review I need to make you aware that this product is not available in the UK or other TPD regulated countries! The Lost Vape Movement LV 18K range will only be available in non-TPD markets such as North America. ***

What Can We Expect From The Lost Vape Movement LV 18K?

18K in the name comes from how many puffs Lost Vape say you can get out of these! As well as the massive 18ml worth of pre-filled e-liquid you get!

Three separate power modes are available and these will affect how many puffs you will get out of it.

The 16W regular mode will get you up to a whopping 18,000 puffs, 18W boost mode will get up to 12,000 puffs and the 20W turbo mode function will get around 6,000 puffs.

A smart full touch screen is featured on each of the Lost Vape Movement LV 18K disposables and this is a colour screen too! Displaying information such as how much e-liquid is left and your current power setting. You’ll be able to adjust the power setting simply by touching the screen!

There’s appeal to both mouth to lung (MTL) and restricted direct to lung (RDL) vapers, as an adjustable airflow slider offers both options. We tell you what the terms MTL and RDL mean in our Guide To Vape Styles!

Dual mesh coils are built in as well as an 800mAh battery that is rechargeable via USB type C.

Finally, you can choose from a wide range of 15 different flavours and these are formulated with nicotine salt e-liquid at a strength of 50mg.

As you can see this range features quite a few more features than your average disposable! So in this review I will be covering the functionality and performance as well as providing my thoughts on the flavours that I got to try.

No flavour descriptions were available on the manufacturer’s website so you will just have to take my word for it! As with any e-liquid flavour, your experiences may differ.

Design & Build Quality

My first impressions when taking it out of the box was that this seemed more like a fully fledged mod, rather than a disposable vape!

Lost Vape Movement LV 18k in hand

A product like this does show off how innovative a disposable vape can be, when you compare it to a throwaway disposable bar.

Construction wise these are manufactured from plastic. Not that you could tell with the gleaming metallic finish on each of these devices. They really do stand out and look like a high end product.

The standalone feature has got to be the smart full touch screen. This absolutely glows when you take a puff on the device and displays information such as the selected power setting, battery life and remaining e-liquid level.

oled screen

The only downsides I found with this is that sometimes this can be a little unresponsive to touch and you have to take a puff to activate it.

Below the screen is the USB-C charging port and an adjustable airflow slider which is extremely smooth in use.

At the top is the fixed mouthpiece, which features a pretty large bore and two individual channels inside it which I’m assuming line up with the dual coils!

Quick Start Guide

An auto-draw system is found on the Lost Vape Movement LV 18K disposables, so you can simply whip one straight out of the box, remove the silicon plug from the mouthpiece and puff away on it!

Out of the box these seem to be set to the 18W power setting and have around 95% battery charge.

Adjusting the power is done by taking a draw to activate the screen, then holding your finger down on the screen for two seconds until the lock icon disappears. Keep pressing the screen to switch between the different 16W, 18W and 20W power output modes, then leave it for three seconds or take a puff to lock the setting in.

Airflow is adjusted by using the slider found underneath the screen. Push up on it to close the airflow down to a tight mouth to lung draw and push down on it to open the airflow right up for an airy restricted direct lung hit.

To charge the battery, simply plug a USB-C cable into the charging port underneath the screen, then connect that to a suitable power output. You don’t get a USB-C cable included in the box so you will need to use one of your own.

How Does The Lost Vape Movement LV 18K Perform?

Firstly I will cover the different flavours and then move onto the device performance.

Bahama Mama

bahama mammaSo I went into this for some reason expected to be greeted by some Banana based combination, but I couldn’t have been more wrong here!

There’s a creamy, exotic taste to Bahama Mama that evokes vibes of a Pina Colada, with a creamy aftertaste to it. I get a strong taste of Pineapple and citrus too and this tastes like a real summery vape to me!

Frozen Raspberry Lemonade

frozen rasperry lemonade

I get a very tart Raspberry flavour at first, with a nice zesty Lemonade and a cooling sensation right at the end. The flavours only getting zestier and punchier as I move through the different power settings. That being said, the cooling sensation felt a little subtle at 16W and 18W.

To get the full ‘chilled’ after effect, I’ve found that adjusting the power setting to 20W will certainly do the trick…definitely goes well with the 50mg nicotine salt hit too!

Strawberry Ice Cream

strawberry ice creamWithout a doubt this is the best Strawberry Ice Cream flavoured disposable that I have ever tried. Lost Vape have just got the mix absolutely spot on with this.

This evokes the tastes of smooth, creamy Strawberry Ice Cream and the flavour profile is absolutely perfect. There’s even an icy, cooling sensation to it as well to really nail the mouth feel of a scoop of Strawberry Ice Cream.

A truly phenomenal and authentic tasting vape!

Cherry Lemon

cherry lemonI can’t help feeling that they went just a touch too overboard with the Lemon flavouring with this one.

The Lemon flavour note is far and away the most distinguishable flavour and I felt that the Cherry got a little lost in the mix. It was a subtle taste at the start for me before the strong Lemon flavour washes in and overpowers it.

I would have preferred a more balanced mix here, but still a tasty vape!

Pink Burst

pink burstWith no flavour description to go off, I was expecting a Pink Lemonade flavour…and again I was wrong. Very wrong indeed!

Pink Burst features Bubblegum flavour and a very sweet Bubblegum flavour at that, rounded off with a subtle icy finish. The sweetness dial has been turned right up with this one, which will definitely please fans of very sweet candied flavours!

Sour Apple Ice

sour appleA phenomenal Sour Apple vape!

I get a tart Green Apple flavour rounded off with a sour effect and a nice, cooling undertone. It is reminiscent of a Sour Apple candied sweet, but with some koolada balancing with the sour effect really nicely.

This one ran Strawberry Ice Cream very close for my pick of the bunch here!

Performance

Rather than your average throwaway disposable vape bar, there’s a few features to play around with so that you can customise your vape.

Three power settings are available, with 16W, 18W and 20W. I found that 16W was just enough for me, providing me with plenty of battery life to see me through the day and the flavour was still very good. This still hits pretty hard at 16W with 50mg nicotine salt e-liquid!

18W and 20W were just a bit too much for me. I’m used to vaping 20mg nicotine salt e-liquid and I couldn’t have more than a couple of puffs at a time at these settings. Flavour wise, I’ve found that there’s only a very slight increase in flavour intensity when upping the wattage, which didn’t seem worth it to me.

You can vape both mouth to lung and restricted direct to lung with one of these quite happily. With the airflow set wide open, this does offer a pretty airy restricted direct lung hit and plenty of vapour production.

You can dial the airflow right down to a cheek sucking tight mouth to lung draw if you so wish, but even 16W seems a little bit too strong at this point.

I can have no complaints about the battery life! At 16W I can get a whole day out of one of these disposables before I need to pop it on for a charge. Plus these charge back up pretty quickly via USB-C.

The 50mg nicotine salt strength does help here, as I definitely don’t puff away as often as I normally would with my 20mg nicotine salt based e-liquids!

In terms of how many puffs you get, this is variable depending on whether you use the 16W, 18W or 20W setting, or a combination of all three. Obviously 18,000 puffs is an awful lot so there was no way I was going to be making a tally and it would take me about two weeks to get through a single one of these!

To put the 18,000 puff claim to the test, I kept the Bahama Mama one set at 16W whilst using it, tallied each time I took a puff, waited for the first bar on the e-liquid level to blink out (there’s five in total), then multiplied it by five.

I counted 3,545 puffs before the first light blinked out, which when multiplied by five, gives me 17,725 puffs. That is very close to the 18,000 puff claim from Lost Vape!

Pros

  • Fantastic flavours
  • 18ml worth of e-liquid
  • Touch screen is a joy to look at
  • Great looking devices
  • Mouth to lung and restricted direct to lung vaping options
  • All day battery life
  • Quick to recharge

Cons

  • 20W is very powerful, only for the hardiest nicotine addicts!
  • Touch screen isn’t always responsive to touch
  • Large waste footprint
  • Have to take a puff to activate the screen
  • Three wattage presets, no ability to fine tune the wattage.

Final Verdict

Not only do these disposables pack a big 50mg nicotine salt punch, they feature some great flavours too. The Strawberry Ice Cream one is a particular highlight and one of the best disposable flavours that I have tried!

Also, flavour-wise, these are packing plenty of flavour! They aren’t in the least bit subtle or under-flavoured and really saturate my tastebuds in flavour!

I’ve also got to say these are probably the best looking disposable vapes that I have had my hands on. These actually look and feel like a premium mod, with the smart touch screen really adding to this.

Dan W

Vaping full time since 2012, started on cigalikes for a while then curiosity got the better of me and I moved onto an vape pens, a month or two later I was seeing people walking around with these interesting shiny tubes and I thought 'I gotta get one of those'. Before I knew it a trip down to my local B&M got me my first VW mod, an Innokin SVD, paired with an iClear 30, and I was hooked. Soon after that I was jumping to VW mods both box and tube shaped, before I then made the jump to rebuilding and thus sub ohming, with my first RDA and mech mod. These days I've come back to convenience and mainly use pods, disposables and the VOOPOO Drag H40. Most importantly I am still loving vaping!

lost-vape-movement-lv-18k-disposable-vape-reviewSome of the best looking disposable vapes out there for those in non TPD regulated countries (sorry UK, not for you), that feature very tasty flavours and a whopping 50mg nicotine salt hit!
