The HCigar VT Inbox V3 as you might have gathered is an update to the original VT Inbox Squonk Mod.

hcigar vt inbox v3 marketing bannerThe original VT Inbox had a lot of fans – so hopefully they will like the new version.

According to HCigar themselves the V3 has a “New structure and new Silicone Bottle”.

vt inbox side viewHowever there is no mention of this on the HCigar website that I can see.

The VT Inbox uses an Evolv DNA 75 Temperature control chipset, which can output between 1-75W. As with all Evolv chips you can upgrade and customise using the Escribe Software.

A single 18650 battery is needed to power this and is not included in the kit.

With this being a regulated mod you get a screen and plenty of adjustments including Variable Wattage and Temperature control.

The squonk bottle has an 8ml capacity and is apparently softer than the old version.

vt inbox v3 internalsThere are many colours/styles to choose from – and you can also buy replacement panels on their own to customise your mod further.

There are the following options: Black 3D, Black Carbon Fibre, Black Leather, Red Joss, Red Rainbow, Red Random Rainbow, Silver Light Brown, Silver Dark Brown and Silver Warriors!

So the new version has a new squonk bottle – which seems popular as from what I have seen online people loved the original VT Inbox but the bottle was very unpopular.

This is slightly expensive but a lot of people love HCigar and find their mods to be of high quality.

Will you be upgrading to the VT V3 or will this be your first HCigar mod – let me know in the comments below!

    • Not 100%. The dimensions for the v3 are different depending on the site you go to.

      Hcigar state the V3 dimensions are 85 x 46 x 25 mm
      VT Inbox dimensions: 83mm x 54mm x 25mm

So based on the above *probably not*. Will try and find out for sure from HCigar though.

  1. Hi Michelle!
I am a happy owner of two V2s and I had since planned to ugrade them removing the huge plastic “garden hose” and installing a silicone soft bottle (SunBox Cappy R and V4 Kompact are perfect fit)
This is the reason why loved the V3 immediately as I saw the improved bottle on it, but, still, I am going to tinker with my boxes instead of selling them and upgrading to the V3… as we all know, tinkering is half of the fun, isn’t it?
