The Hellvape Hellbeast Tank is a rare wander into Sub Ohm Tank territory for Hellvape – usually they create rebuildable atomisers.
The Hellbeast is a design collaboration between Hellvape and Beyond Vape who appear to be a USA Vape store company.
So as mentioned above this is a stock coil tank – i.e. you buy pre-built coil heads and just install them into the tank.
Included in the kit are 2×0.2ohm Hellvape Mesh H01 coil heads – one is already installed ready for you.
But a really clever part of this tank is the fact you can use coil heads from different manufacturers and they can be either Direct To Lung (DTL – Sub Ohm) style coils or Mouth To Lung (MTL) style coils. We tell you about MTL and DTL Vaping Styles in our guide.
So for MTL coils the kit includes an adaptor so you can use Aspire Nautilus coils – these are very popular for MTL vapers.
For DTL coils you can use Smok TFV8 Baby/Beast, Vaporesso GT and Eleaf HW coils in here. So handy if you have run out or local store has no stock of the Hellvape coils.
On the base of the tank is the adjustable airflow – there is a large slot inlet for DTL vaping plus if you rotate the airflow ring there are small holes you can adjust for MTL or restricted DTL vaping.
The tank capacity varies between 4.3ml and 3.5ml depending on the coil installed.
There are 8 colours to choose from – Stainless Steel, Black, Full Black, Gunmetal, Blue, Purple, Gold and Rainbow.

I do like the look of this – I also like the trend of “compatible” coils – i.e. you can use coils from other brands. Very handy if you don’t like the included coils or if you run out.
