Introduction: IVG E-Liquid Review

Ooh goody some new E-liquids for me to try – here we have a selection of IVG E Liquid – formerly I ♥ VG.

IVG have only been around since 2016 and they started here in the UK as a side investment project by a CEO of a law firm! Now their marketing info says they serve over 60 countries and have offices around the world!

They have many different ranges – IVG Menthol, IVG Classic, IVG Macarons, IVG Sweets, IVG Desserts and IVG Tobacco.

ivg rangesI was sent 50ml of 5 different flavours in TPD compliant sealed bottles to try:

  • Blue Raspberry – from the Classic range
  • Blackcurrant Millions – from the Sweets range
  • Jam Roly Poly – from the Desserts range
  • Bubblegum Millions – from the Sweets range
  • Kiwi Kool – from the Menthol range

ivg selection for reviewThe sweets range includes some flavours with the suffix “millions” and online I see a lot of people love these.

I had no idea what the “millions” reference was – so I looked up and there are a range of tiny sweeties called Millions. So it gave me a perfect excuse to buy some!

PG/VG & Nicotine Content

The liquids I was sent are all 70% VG and 30% VG. Making them more suitable for Sub Ohm tanks and rebuildable tanks / drippers.

For an explanation of VG and PG in E-liquids read here.

These are all 0% nicotine strength, there does appear to be a small amount of space in the bottle so hopefully enough room to add a nicotine shot – but I didn’t try this myself. I like to try the liquids at full strength as sometimes I feel nic shots can dilute the flavour a bit.

I have put a new coil on my Kaees Aladdin RDA and re-wicked between each tasting! Let’s get stuck in!

Blue Raspberryivg blue raspberryIVG say…

“Mouthwatering fresh blue raspberries treat with a subtle slush effect”

I say….

Whoa this is cold! I wasn’t expecting it to be so cold! That must be what “slush” means – the icy Slush Puppy style drinks from my childhood that turned your tongue blue!

There is a lovely blackcurrant backdrop to this as well. It is a lovely taste but slightly synthetic and could get sickly after a while.

Blackcurrant Millionsivg blackcurrant millionsIVG say…

“Sweet blackcurrant candy infused with a bubblegum wave to surf your taste buds”

I say….

I was looking forward to this one the most – I am partial to berry flavour liquids and this one sounds right up my street.

Oh yes this is the business! The description is spot on – there is a beautiful blackcurrant flavour but then you can almost feel the smooth bubble gum texture on your tongue.

If Hubba Bubba made a blackcurrant flavour this would be it – beautiful! Could vape this all day long! A 10 out of 10 e-liquid for certain!

Jam Roly Polyivg jam roly polyIVG say…

“Roll up and indulge yourself in this classic British jam pudding”

I say….

I hold my hands up – I was born and raised in the West Midlands UK and am in my 40s and have NEVER eaten Jam Roly Poly!

Is it like Swiss Roll? Which I have eaten!

I really don’t like e-liquid with “cake” or “pastry” elements they just end up being sickly to me.

The smell of this is very Jammy but I can also pick up the cakey element – which is worrying me a lot.

There is way more cake than jam when you vape with this. So much cake/vanilla. More jam would improve this a lot for me – but again I am bakery phobic when it comes to E-liquid. I’m still having traumatic flashbacks from the Pumpkin Cheesecake.

I don’t like this at all – but it is true to the description so worth 7/10 for being correct.

Bubblegum Millionsivg bubblegum millionsIVG say…

“That amazing bubblegum taste which will bring your childhood memories back but now it’s not just for kids! You can try it too!”

I say….

Just opening the bottle of this takes me back to Penny Bubblies – you know the balls of bubblegum. You would buy them from a shop where they were in trays of loose sweets and the shopkeeper would pick their nose, or have their finger in their ear then stick their hand in the sweet trays….

Oh yes you can almost feel the gummy texture on your tongue – like with the Blackcurrant Millions. The Bubblegum isn’t just a taste it’s like you have a mouth full of gum too – it really is incredible – how on earth have they done this?

I will say this has a slight menthol tinge at the end – which makes me knock just half a point off – otherwise this is beautiful wow!

Kiwi Koolivg kiwi koolIVG say…

“Fresh Kiwi blended with a hint of lemon”

I say….

The smell of this is really refreshing and exactly how “green fruit” e-liquid should smell.

I don’t mind a bit of menthol – now and again – but find it gets a bit sickly and too much when it turns your tonsils to ice every few seconds – so I was expecting this to be a throat full of ice cubes.

However – I was wrong – (yes I am female and uttering that sentence) – this is lovely. Not ice cold as I was expecting, no mint just a really smooth fruity sensation of green fruits. Slightly more citrus fruits but not to the extreme of washing up liquid or toilet cleaner. This is really tasty.

Final Verdict

The IVG e Liquid Millions bottles I had in particular – Bubblegum Millions and Blackcurrant Millions are just an absolute triumph. Not only a taste but almost a texture too! Really beautiful and surprising – will be buying these again 100%.

Kiwi Kool was a beautiful surprise and took me right off guard!

Blue Raspberry was nice but slightly synthetic. Jam Roly Poly did fit the description but that horrible sickly vanilla cake flavour and smell which I now cannot get rid of!
