The Joyetech Evio Box is the sibling to the Evio C pod kit.

Like the Evio C this is designed as a low power vape starter kit which should be easy for newbies to get to grips with.

What To Expect From The Joyetech Evio Box…

There are 3 main components to this kit, the mod (or battery), pod (or tank) and the removable / replaceable coil (heats up to vaporise the e-liquid).

Inside the mod component is a 1000mAh battery which charges in 30 mins using the USB Type C port at up to a 2A charge rate.evio box battery

There are 3 indicator lights on the side which light up to show the battery capacity remaining.evio box leds

You can select from 3 output levels: High, Medium or Low using the power button.evio box power levels

Operation is simple using either the automatic draw sensor which detects when you inhale on the pod or you can press the power button manually.evio box firing

In addition to the LED indicators there is a vibrate motor which vibrates when you install the pod, when the battery is low or if the coil overheats (probably due to low e-liquid level in the pod).evio box vibration

The AST chipset is the brains of the kit which also gives plenty of user protections and a fast firing time.evio box chip

You can rotate the pod 180° to give 2 different airflow settings.evio box airflow

The pod contains the coil which is an AST Steel Material (Austenitic Stainless Steel Technology) which promises at least 2000 puffs before it requires changing.evio box coil life

There are 2 coil options also compatible with the Evio-C and both are included in the kit:

Here is an introduction video from the Joyetech YouTube channel.

There are quite a few different colour combinations to choose from. First there is a PC plastic version which comes in Blue, Black, White and Cyan.

  1. Their is no locking feature for the fire button, which is annoying.so the only way to be safe that it doesn’t fire in your pocket and burn the coil out is to turn it off completely by quickly hitting the power button 5 times.

One more thing I would like to add,is that I find the pod a not very good design as get a lot of bubbling and gurgling noices when inhaling and juice spat in the mouth.just wish they had designed an a all one complet seal pod like so many others have chosen to go down this route.

  2. Currently using this. Great little box pod. 0.8 coils are surprisingly flavourful and really do last forever on the low power mode! One thing though – and I couldn’t find any info in the instructions – is there a way of locking the fire button? Or do I have to turn it completely off before I put it in my pocket?
