In for review today I have a line up of four fruity candy flavours from Okay! Orange e-liquid.

Apparently the people behind this new brand are the same that are responsible for the lovely Jack Rabbit and Rachael Rabbit e-liquids, Jack Rabbit Vapes.

Okay! Orange Range

Although as they don’t list them on their Jack Rabbit homepage, there is always the possibility that I’m mistaken!

What Can We Expect From Okay! Orange E-liquid?

First things first they’re called Okay! Orange (yes, the exclamation mark is part of the name) so you have to be expecting some interesting orange flavours?

Juicy blood orange? Delicate little clementine? Sour Seville orange?

Nope.

There are no oranges here. Or indeed in any of the flavours.

I gotta say, I’m a little confused by the whole thing.

As on the label they say “To taste the orange, you must become the orange” but then on the other side it says “Orange not included“.

Are we the orange?

I honestly have no idea, but what I do know is that I really like the look of the bottles they come in. There’s a strong “Japanese graphic design” vibe going on, and I dig it.

Looking at the flavours 3 out of the 4 have candy in them, bubblegum, liquorice and “chew“, with only the final being pure fruit flavours. Though with that lineup, it won’t surprise me to taste a lot of sweetness in it!

These have all come in 120ml shortfill bottles, with 100ml of e-liquid. So there’s enough space to put in two nic shots to make it up to 3mg. They are all 70/30 VG/PG.

Unfortunately since Okay! Orange doesn’t seem to have a website, I have been left without my usual descriptions from the manufacturer on what they see as the flavour profile.

In light of this I am using the short descriptions from Dispergo.

Finally they were sent over free of charge for the purpose of this review (thank you) as usual, I am not swayed by freebies, and I will report back honestly with what I find.

On to the review!

Strawberry / Banana / Bubblegum – 0mg 70/30 VG PG

Okay! Orange Strawberry Banana Bubblegum

Okay! Orange Say:

A sweet blend of Strawberry and Banana with a bubblegum spin

I Say:

OK, smelling this is not advised if you’ve ever spent your time chipping bubblegum off the underside of desks! It’s definitely a fruity bubblegum smell, but just taking a whiff of it means it smells like days old bubblegum that you’ve just pulled off something.

The good thing is, this isn’t a review of how it is as a smell, but how it is as a vape.

Vaping it and it comes to life. It’s not nearly as sweet as I thought it might be, and has a really consistent flavour on both the inhale and exhale.

It’s mostly pillowy banana chews that are the body of it, but it’s shot through with quite an artificial strawberry. Artificial isn’t necessarily a bad thing though, and it tastes like the sort of candy that would be bad for your teeth!

There’s definitely a bubblegum element to it, especially as you inhale it. But it’s subtle and not too overpowering.

Pretty nice, but quite a dense vape. If you like your deserts (and bubblegum!) then this one might be the one to go for.

Cherry / Liquorice – 0mg 70/30 VG PG

Okay! Orange Cherry Liquorice

Okay! Orange Say:

Red Cherries with a sweet liquorice chew

I Say:

I’m slightly dreading, slightly looking forward to this one.

Liquorice is something I absolutely love… but I’ve still never found a really good liquorice vape. Maybe it’s because I was brought up in the Netherlands where the liquorice is a little bit more aggressive than what you get in the UK.

Anyway, the smell is mostly cherry, but like glacé cherries. As though they’ve been preserved in sugar. Not much sign of the liquorice.

On the inhale the liquorice still seems to have gone awol. It’s tasting exactly like it smells, like preserved cherries pumped full of sugar.

Exhaling finally brings the liquorice out to play a little, though it’s very much the British “soft” liquorice here. More a pontefract cake or catherine wheel than anything with any bite.

I’m not sure what to make of this one really, the liquorice doesn’t really seem to add much to it. But on the other hand, a pure candied cherry vape sounds sickly sweet. So maybe it does have a place to help round things out!

Raspberry / Pineapple / Chew – 0mg 70/30 VG PG

Raspberry Pineapple Chew

Okay! Orange Say:

Raspberry and Pineapple mixed together to give a fruity chewy flavour

I Say:

Right from the smell I’m getting memories of soldering my teeth together with tough, incredibly chewy, candy.

Inhaling and the overriding impression is this is very sweet! The raspberry is definitely the strongest flavour here.

Exhaling, your mouth starts watering and I had to try and stop myself from chewing the vapour. It’s incredibly fruity and feels like you should be able give your mouth a workout on it. It really does take like those chew sweets from my youth.

The pineapple gives it enough of a kick that’s it’s not just sweetness though, there’s a slight tangy after-taste to it, and it just makes me want to go back for more.

Unfortunately although it’s very moreish, I don’t think I could vape this for too long in one go. Better to save it as a sweet treat!

Peach / Apricot – 0mg 70/30 VG PG

Peach Apricot

Okay! Orange Say:

Juicy sweet Peaches with an apricot blast a fruity vape not to be missed!

I Say:

Giving this one a smell and I wasn’t really getting anything from it. If I concentrated, there was a hint of peach?

But it’s very subtle. Because of this I tasted a little on my knuckle, and if this delivers on the flavours I’m getting from it, it’s going to be a very special vape!

Wow! This is a lovely vape.

Inhaling and it’s mostly apricot, but it’s got the juiciness of a peach running through it.

On the exhale it’s peaches all the way, rich, juicy and delicious. There’s just a slight tang of tartness to it which just lifts the whole vape.

This one would happily be an all day vape for me. It’s a lot sweeter than I normally go for, but it’s mouthwateringly delicious.

Definitely a bit unexpected to have such a fruity vape which (although sweet) wasn’t really of the same sort of candy varieties as the others in the lineup.

Final Review Verdict

So that was the sweet and fruity flavours from Okay! Orange.

One thing I will say straight away, is that they definitely nail some of the candy flavours. The Raspberry / Pineapple / Chew especially lived up its name!

If they were a one trick pony I’d be fairly impressed with what they did, going for candy and fruit and absolutely nailing it. But they also manage to pull off a genuinely fruity vape with the Peach / Apricot. Sure it’s sweet, but it’s not candy sweet.

As well as the flavours that I tested here, they also have a Grape / Raspberry / Blackcurrant, which sounds really interesting. And they’re due to be launching a Blue Raspberry / Bon Bon soon.

The one thing I can’t tell you is whether you want a candy tasting vape. Personally, I find them all a little bit too sweet for me as an all day vape.

But they’re definitely the sort of thing I could find myself going back to when I feel like a treat!

I started my vaping journey in 2017 with a little AIO kit. I’d made several attempts to give up smoking over the years, and I finally nailed it with vaping. I knew right away that I wanted to learn as much about all these devices as possible, and I quickly got into rebuildables and replaceable battery mods. I’ve always enjoyed kit and technology, so I’ve built up quite a collection of different tanks and mods. I love knowing how things work and what to do to get the best out of them, so sharing that knowledge and helping more people quit smoking is something I’m passionate about.

okay-orange-e-liquid-reviewFruity, juicy and very, very sweet! Impressive mixology really does make you feel like your reliving moments of your childhood with some of these. Whilst the only pure fruit flavour I reviewed, was equally tasty and sweet, but bursting at the seams with fresh fruit flavour. The people behind Jack Rabbit Vapes haven't pulled a rabbit out the hat this time, just an impressive new line of e-liquid. Oranges not included.
