The Uwell Aeglos P1 Kit is the bigger brother of the recent Aeglos Pod Kit.
Uwell have a reputation for knocking out the flavour in their kits and previous devices such as the Caliburn, Crown and Valyrian ranges have gained a lot of fans.
What Is New On The Uwell Aeglos P1 Kit?
I know I am being negative straight away – but the Aeglos P1 is not exactly a looker is it?
The very dull and muted colour range doesn’t exactly inspire me, and even those who like a plainer mod have no black or gunmetal versions to choose from either.
However I have no doubts that this kit will be full of features and be a pleasure to use so let’s have a closer look at what this has to offer.
Firstly the mod has a “C” frame styling – meaning the rear panel (with the leather padding) can be pulled off to access the battery compartment.
Talking of batteries you will need a single 18650 to power it- but of course this is not included.
A USB Type C port is included with a fast charge rate of 2A.
Output wise the specified wattage is from 5 to 80W. As to whether this is a full “Variable wattage” (where the user selects the output) or whether the mod adjusts this itself only to suit the installed coil is not very clear on the website.
A colour 0.96in TFT screen is provided to view all of your vaping data.
A 510 adaptor is also available separately so you can use any 510 connection atomiser on here and convert it to a box mod.
Looking at the pod now – this is refillable with up to 4ml (or 2ml in TPD Regulated areas) of your own e-liquid.
Also you can adjust the incoming airflow by rotating the pod.
There are several compatible coils for this kit (also compatible with the original Aeglos Pod Kit) – sadly as the kit contents are not specified I am not sure which coils it is supplied with:
- 0.2ohm Aeglos P1 coil
- 0.6ohm Aeglos P1 coil
- 0.23ohm UN2 Meshed coil
- 0.8ohm coil
There are 5 colour options to choose from: Wine Red, Dark Blue, Olive Green, Reddish Brown and Saddle Tan.

Despite its looks (the poor soul can’t help that) it does seem to be a great little kit and the addition of the 510 adaptor takes this a step up from just being a pod mod.
