The VGOD Pro Mech 2 kit comprises of the Pro Mech 2 mod and the VGOD Elite RDA.

vgod pro mech 2The Pro Mech 2 mod has an outer body made from soft touch Delrin. The internal chassis is made from copper.

pro mech 2 materialsOur reviewer Kevin reviewed the original Vgod Pro Mech kit and gave it high scores – especially for the quality.

pro mech 2At the base of the mod is a TriCon copper switch. This is basically a carbon fibre switch with three independent contact points to increase surface contact with battery and help reduce internal resistance.

vgod tricon switchThis is marketed as a hard hitting mech mod so make sure you are clued up on battery safety and ohms law before attempting to use this!

vgod pro mech 2 top and baseYou will need a single 18650 battery to power this which is not included. Being a mech mod the total power output will depend on the battery you are using and the resistance of the coil.

vgod pro mech 2 mod and rdaThe VGOD Elite RDA is a 24mm RDA with two posts. The coil legs are clamped using thumbscrews to make building quicker and easier. The thumbscrews also have standard phillips or flat head cut outs in the top if things are a bit too tight!

vgod elite rdaThere is a 2ml liquid well in the RDA and bottom adjustable airflow.

I do like the soft touch design of this mod, really makes it stand out.

However I do get a flash of “Ann-Summers” when I look at this mod? Perhaps I’m just weird.

Anyway this is a pricey kit really, but usually with mech mods there is little to go wrong apart from wear and tear and some maintenance so this should be worth it.

Is the VGOD tickling your fancy? Let me know in the comments below!

    • Struggling to find this out to be honest – VGod appear to have stopped making this and the sites I have looked at don’t mention the coils!

    • Hiya the output will depend on what battery you use and what coil build you use.

This is a mechanical mod – so it doesn’t have any circuitry to interfere with the power output of the battery other than simply turning it on and off.

To change the output you would put lower or higher resistance coils in and also the type of battery and its output will also change this.

Have a read of our guide to the electrical aspects of Vaping
      https://www.ecigclick.co.uk/electrickery-a-guide-to-volts-ohms-and-resistence-in-ecigs/

A regulated mod has circuitry which can boost or reduce the output from the battery and keep it to a constant or maximum level – until the battery power drops below a certain level. Usually at this point a regulated device would tell you the battery needs charging or output less power than you have requested. Whereas a mechanical mod will only output what the battery is providing and you can only switch the power on or off and nothing inbetween.
