Asmodus really make some lovely mods. Their new offering the Asmodus Pumper Squonk mod is no exception.
This is an aluminium alloy and stabilised wood mod – which looks the business.
The mod is available in two versions. The Pumper 21 which uses a 21700 battery and the Pumper 18 which uses a 18650 battery.
Obviously the 21700 version will be slightly bigger however with the bigger battery the life and performance will be better.
Otherwise the two models are pretty much the same.
The body itself is based on the Asmodus Luna mod.
Internally this uses a similar squonk bottle system to the Asmodus Spruzza, where you press a lever to squonk the liquid into the tank.
The squonk bottle is apparently upgraded for the Pumper with a stainless steel top and bottom.
Am struggling to find the specs of this as the Asmodus website isn’t saying much at the moment so please excuse the slight vagueness of this preview.
This is like a mechanical mod – however there are similar protections to what you get on the Luna mod – including incorrect battery polarity indication, low voltage protection, 10 second fire cut off, atomiser short protection and overheat protection.
There is also an LED indicator on this which will illuminate for faults and low battery.
There are some choices of colour – however as usual with Stab wood mods the colour and finish can vary. The Pumper 18 can be bought in Green, Purple or Red variants. However the Pumper 21 currently is only showing as coming in Black and gold.

The price for this on the Asmodus website is a bit eye watering, however this is a stab wood mod so should be unique.
I can’t help giggling at the name either – that is because I am a child.
