As the oldest, yet fittest and most athletic of the EcigClick team, it was obvious who should review the CBD Asylum Muscle Rub…
Ahem…OK…why you lot laughing..?
I’ll have you know I can hike 15 miles in the mud and still find time for half a dozen pints of Guinness – and walk home in a straight line…it’s called muscle memory lol.
OK, and in all seriousness…I have picked up more than a few injuries hiking – especially as the weather’s getting colder and I fail to ‘warm-up‘ before tackling a few hills.
I’m allergic to aspirin and the like – my asthma means my lungs struggle if I try those over the counter rubs and it can be bloody scary.
I once rubbed ibuprofen into my ex partners shoulders and almost hit the deck within a few seconds as my lungs shut down – she thought all the heavy breathing was me getting ‘frisky‘ lol…
So those over the counter popular muscle strain oils and gels are not for me I’m afraid.
So let’s see if CBD based muscle rubs – especially the ones I’ve got in for review can help.
What Can We Expect From the CBD Asylum CBD Muscle Rub?
Pain relief is the obvious answer!
And herein lies a bit of a problem when it comes to reviewing all kinds of CBD products.
Technically, I can’t write as a voice of authority [nothing new there lol] – in other words, I can’t really say if the product works or doesn’t.
So I guess I’ll try and wing it a little…

The CBD Asylum CBD Muscle Rub comes in a handy screw off top plastic pot and is a little squishy rather than rigid. It’s light too, handy for your sports bag or rucksack for those quick fixes of strained/tired muscles on the go or after excercise or work.
The smell is bloody lovely, and a real fresh whiff of almost essential peppermint oil – if this was an e-liquid I’d liken it to an Extra Strong mint.
It rubs into the skin very quickly indeed, leaving it smelling fresh and very minty with no sticky residue.
I’ve rubbed this on my left thigh strain [steady ladies lol] and my neck and shoulders and have to say the smell alone convinced me it was working its magic.
Without breaking the rules on CBD reviews, let’s just say I was able to move around a lot easier and without wincing…
And I’ll put it another way…I’d buy it in heartbeat 😉
Final Review Verdict
The CBD Asylum CBD Muscle Rub comes in x3 strengths, 200mg – 500mg and the 1000mg I received.
When it comes the amount of CBD you need, it’s down to trial and error really – what works for you might not work for me and vice versa.
I’m quite a big bloke and have thighs like a Russian female shot-putter [me sexist naw lol] so I’m guessing the 1000mg that I received was spot on.
As I’ve intimated, after slipping and falling a couple of times on my hikes through really muddy trails and up and down hills, I have twanged a couple of muscles.
I’ve also had no hot water for a week [plumber is waiting for a part lol] so haven’t been able to soak away my sore muscles [yeah I do have some lol].
So has the CBD muscle rub worked..?
Let’s put it this way – I won’t stop using it any time soon 😉
So…have you used the CBD Asylum CBD Muscle Rub?
