CBD Ultra vape oil is an interesting concept as it can be either used as drops on the tongue or it can also be vaped.
However there is a caveat to the vaping side of things as only ceramic coils can be used.
The range is sold by For the Ageless – the same company behind the Pharma Hemp CBD e-liquid line which I really did enjoy.
The company says CBD Ultra is full-spectrum and twice as strong as most other UK CBD vape juice blends.
BTW, full spectrum CBD simply means it comes from the whole plant extract, rather than a mix of plants…a simple explanation but you get my drift.
There’s currently x6 flavours: Lemon Haze – Blue Dream – Watermelon OG – OG Kush – Gelato and Pineapple Express and all are based on famous cannabis strains.
You can choose from either 1000mg or 5000mg strengths.
More About CBD and Vaping
OK, once again CBD or Cannabidiol to give it its full name, is what’s left when the active ingredient inside the cannabis plant – THC [Tetrahydrocannabinol] – is extracted.
This means CBD cannot get the user high – or indeed overdose – and whilst science is a little behind, there’s plenty of anecdotal evidence to suggest its use can help with many symptoms of ill health, and also promote well being.

Another reminder, CBD Ultra vape oil can ONLY be used on ceramic coils.
I didn’t have any left, however For the Ageless did send a very smart little pen kit – thank you 🙂
Incidentally they recommend using the Innokin Jem / Goby kit which includes a ceramic coil – but again any MTL ceramic coil/kit will suffice.

CBD Ultra Vape Oil – OG Kush 1000mg
CBD Ultra Says:

I Say:
First up let’s try this one as CBD drops to drip on or under your tongue.
You really, and I mean really need to give all the CBD Ultra bottles a bloody good shake – otherwise they are extremely oily.
I’m a huge fan of Kush based CBD juice, I love the earthy terpene taste I get.
OK, the smell is unmistakable – a real whiff of the famous cannabis strain – good start!
A couple of drips and yup – that tangy botanical taste is there right enough – with a bit of a nose tickle too.
However, and despite a really good shake, it is a little too oily and a rather bitter olive oil taste.
Saying that, the company is using coconut oil – but trust me there’s no hint of that!
Not unpalatable by any stretch of the imagination – it just feels a little more medicinal than some CBD drops I’ve tried.
Vaping On CBD Ultra OG Kush 1000mg
I gave my Innokin Jem/Goby kit away soon after I reviewed it so as I said at the start, I will be using the vape kit supplied.
Right from the off I’m getting a much better CBD experience.
Gone is that rather bitter oily taste, replaced by a real punch of perfectly balanced cannabis.
I’d go as far to say it’s mild enough for even the newcomer to authentic CBD cannabis strains.
Not to harsh and with the merest hint of that rich earthiness I love.
Better as a vape that’s for sure.
CBD Ultra Vape Oil – Gelato 1000mg

Delightfully mild, the star here is the smoothness of the vapour.
There are no sharp edges, making it perfect if you prefer a muted flavour profile rather than bold, intense tastes.
I Say:
Once again I began by dripping a couple of drops under my tongue – after a very good shake of the bottle.
The smell is a little muted but I can pick out the hint of sweetness associated with gelato.
Sadly once again that oily taste is to the fore.
If I’m honest, there is the merest hint of sweetness underneath – but just a touch.
Once again my mind is saying more medicinal than pleasurable – no bad thing I suppose.
Vaping On CBD Ultra Gelato 1000mg
Instantly better!
Again I’m not getting a whack of flavour, and again the merest hint of sweetness.
I have to agree with the flavour notes on this, “a muted flavour profile” to say the least.
It’s definitely an extremely smooth vape with no bite or kick at all.
I’m also picking up the slightest hint of botanics but way way in the back ground.
Here’s that word again – medicinal – but milder with this one.
I reckon this one’s ideal for the absolute beginner to vaping on CBD.
CBD Ultra Vape Oil – Pineapple Express 1000mg

If you want something fruity with a hint of savoury to add some depth, then this is the one for you.

Again I began by using the CBD Ultra vape oil as drops on my tongue.
You’re certainly getting a punch of this famous cannabis strain once the bottle top’s been whipped off – very nice indeed.
Don’t expect a sweet fruity taste either – anyone who’s used the plant will know what I mean 😉
This one didn’t taste as oily and of the three it really did tickle my taste buds.
A real authentic taste not to strong and ideal for CBD oil users both new and experienced – I like it!
Vaping On CBD Ultra Pineapple Express 1000mg
Oh my!
Yeah this is more my cup of tea – or should that be CBD?
It took a couple of puffs to get that hint of fruit and again way way back in the back notes.
But what I got immediately was an extremely potent hit of pure unadulterated cannabis flavours.
Very flowery, bursting with botanicals and a kind of peppery twist on the exhale.
Absolute bloody delicious and then some – love it!
CBD Vape Oil – Final Review Verdict
Most definitely a clever idea offering a CBD oil that can be dripped on the tongue or vaped.
Has CBD Ultra pulled it off is the question…
It’s unlike me to sit on the fence lol…but with the trio of CBD Ultra vape oil I’ve sampled – that’s where I am.
I’m no chemist, but maybe to be able to vape and take them orally, the oil needed to be upped or at least made more intense.
Whilst it doesn’t ruin the flavour – far from it – it does feel a little prominent shall we say.
Vaping on the CBD Ultra vape oil is a whole other matter.
Of the 3 the Pineapple Express is one of the best CBD vape juices I’ve vaped – a little more oomph and it would be in my top 3.
So yeah I’d recommend them for sure – it is after all the best of both worlds.
I’d be a little more positive if they fiddled with the blending a little and found a way to tone down the oil.
