I am not sure as to where this device fits in the Aegis range – to me all of its functions are already covered by the Aegis Boost kit. But this is smaller so might be a handy one to carry around?

My name is Michelle - I am 44 and an engineer and Technical Author by trade. I started vaping many years ago in the days of Tornado tanks, Ego batteries and Variable Voltage. My journey in vaping began again a few years ago and have started to move up in the shiny shiny gadget department and love vaping! I have finally stopped smoking as of June 2019 and that is all thanks to vaping! 20mg Nicotine Salts are my hero! Oh and I am partial to a nice pod mod!

  1. I just bought my very first vape – Aeigis Hero. One thing I noticed, it got fully charged in an hour then the bar for the battery shows full already but a pop-up message appears saying “charging”. But since the bars for the battery indicator shows full already, I unplugged and used it. In an hour, 1 bar of battery has been used up. What did I do wrong? Should have I waited for the message to appear as “fully charged” before unplugging it? Thanks much!

    • Hi there, we haven’t had this kit in for review yet – so I am unsure of the answer here. Usually when a device is fully charged the screen will display “fully charged” text or turn off completely so it does sound to me like you haven’t fully charged it hence why it is dropping charge so quickly.
I would leave it charging for longer if I was you. I did try to download the user manual from the Geekvape website but sadly the link doesn’t work.

    • Mine does this when charging as well. It doesnt tell me that it is “fully charged”, it just says “charging”. When i see that the battery bar is full, i unplug it already. Allows me a few hours if vaping though i am using it just at 20watts with 25mg nicotine salts juice.
