The Hellvape Drop Dead RDA is the exciting new arrival for lovers of the Drop RDA and the Dead Rabbit RDA.
Most RDA lovers will have had either the Drop or Dead Rabbit in their collection at some point and both RDA still have many fans.
The Drop Dead is a collaboration between Hellvape and the Vaping Reviewers Heathen and The Vapor Chronicles.
The original Dead Rabbit and Dead Rabbit SQ are projects from Heathen and the Digiflavor Drop and Drop Solo are a collaboration with TVC. So the two have combined with Hellvape to create the (hopefully) best of both worlds!
From a glance the styling is similar to the original DR apart from a new logo and a new hybrid resin drip tip.
The deck again at first glance has the “rabbit ear” posts that the DR was famous for albeit they are the opposite way around. The posts are designed for coils to just “drop” into and you can use single or dual coil builds in this. The post design also allows you to trim the coil legs after installation via the gap below the posts.
The airflow is again a mixture of both designs – the familiar Drop style airflow holes combined with the rotating top cap of the DR.
The kit includes a standard 510 positive pin plus a bottom feed 510 pin for you to convert this for use with Squonk mods.

I love the Drop Dead! I love the Drop too but I wasn’t a big fan of the Dead Rabbit. I don’t know why but it just doesn’t vape that great. And the Drop leaks a little from the bottom airholes if I squonk too much. But this one is perfect, with the air up high, no leaks! And the same Drop Style deck. Awesomeness!
