The Hotcig RST Mod is a very sexy retro looking box mod!

Hotcig have provided vapers with some sexy mods in the past including the R150S, R233, RSQ, G100 and a few pod kits including the Kubi and the Marvel.

What To Expect From The Hotcig RST Mod…

The styling to me is reminiscent of a alcohol hip flask clad in leather over the Zinc Alloy, Aluminium Alloy and Stainless Steel body.

Even the mod shape is the same “B” shape as a hip flask for ease of grip.rst shape

A beautiful shield decal sits on the front of the mod in a brass style metal (the actual material of the badge is not stated sadly.)rst shield

Two 18650 batteries are required to power the mod and a 2A Type C USB port is provided for emergency recharging.rst battery door

A 0.96in LCD screen is located on the side which is surrounded by the fire and adjustment buttons.rst screen

The output is adjustable from 5-212W and you have Variable Wattage, Bypass and Temperature control user modes to choose from.rst bottom view

The brains of the mod is the R Series HM Chip which has appeared in many Hotcig devices and apparently boasts a fast firing speed of 0.008 seconds.

A centre mounted 510 connection is compatible with tanks of up to 24mm diameter without any mod overhang.510

There are 3 colours to choose from: Black, Brown and Orange.

My name is Michelle - I am 48 and an engineer and Technical Author by trade. I started vaping many years ago in the days of Tornado tanks, Ego batteries and Variable Voltage. My journey in vaping began again around 2016 and have been interested in the topic ever since. I finally stopped smoking as of June 2019 and that is all thanks to vaping! 20mg Nicotine Salts are my hero! Oh and I am partial to a nice pod mod and Bubblegum e-liquid! I have enjoyed writing for Ecigclick since 2017 and love being part of this great team! My passion for Tobacco Harm Reduction has also led me to becoming a Trustee for the NNA (New Nicotine Alliance) aiding in Advocacy
