The iJoy Captain Resin kit is as the name obviously implies a new tank and mod in the Captain range but with a resin finish.
The full kit includes the new Captain Resin mod and the Captain Resin Mesh Tank.
iJoy have released a number of products in the Captain range including the triple battery X3 Kit and the PD270 mod.
The mod can use either dual 20700 batteries or with the included adaptor dual 18650 batteries. No batteries are included in the kit.
Achieving a maximum output of 200W the device has Variable Wattage, Temperature Control and TCR user modes.
The body is Zinc alloy with the new resin trims and has a 0.96in OLED screen.
The Captain Resin tank has a matching resin finish and the colour range appear to match other Resin style mods from iJoy including the excellent Shogun Univ and the Shogun Junior.
The existing Captain X3 coil range will be compatible with this tank. The coils are also used in the Avenger Tank, Katana Tank and Captain X3 tank.
In addition to the huge coil range that already exists iJoy have added some new mesh coils:
- Single mesh – MESH 1 – 0.2ohm 40-80W
- Dual mesh – MESH 2 – 0.2ohm 40-80W
- Triple mesh – MESH 3 0.18ohm 40-80W
- Quad mesh – MESH 4 0.13 ohm 40-90W
There is a retractable top fill cap and a bottom airflow control ring.
There are 3 colours of kit so far to choose from – I expect there will be more added – B-Ghostfire, G-Hellfire and R-Splendor.
There are 8 colours of tank to choose from – Fantasy Blue, Hellfire, Bumblebee, Splendor, Ghostfire, Blaze Red, Green Specter and Crystal Purple.
