Yep there is another “Mod Pod” arriving on the scene – have a gander at the iJoy Jupiter Kit…
This looks very similar to the new Smok RPM 80 kits so let’s see if there is anything new to get excited about…
Introduction To The iJoy Jupiter Mod Pod Kit
Firstly the Jupiter device – this is powered by a single removable 18650 battery – which is not included in the kit.
Power wise this will output between 5 and 70W which is adjustable. There does appear to be only VW output – not seeing any other user modes mentioned.
Inside the device is the Univ chip set which also is found in the bigger iJoy Shogun mod.
Your vaping data and settings are clearly displayed on the 0.96in colour TFT screen.
Looking at the pod now – which is where your e-liquid and coil live…
The coils are removable and replaceable and the “J” range of coils have been created for this kit.
There are 2 coil options and you do get both included:
- J2 – 0.6ohm Mesh (20-30W)
- J1 – 0.2ohm Mesh (40-70W)
Also there will be a RBA coil so you can build your own coils to suit your vaping style.
As mentioned the pod is refillable and currently there is a 5ml capacity pod – I imagine in order to meet the TPD regulations a 2ml pod will be created too.
I have not seen any mention of adjustable airflow sadly.
Some of the photos on iJoy social media show a 510 adaptor to allow standard tanks to be installed on the mod – to use this in a similar way to a Box Mod – but the product page on their website hasn’t mentioned this.
There are 8 colours to choose from: Black, Red, Blue, Green, Golden Green, Gunmetal, Orange and Purple.
