Just Juice are a multi award winning e-liquid company based in Preston UK and I’m putting both the short fill and nicotine salt ranges to the taste test.
The company was formed by a couple of mates – Carlos and Andy at about the same time they quit smoking.
They had a look around at the juice on sale back then, and thought they could do better.
Given their huge success is seems many of you think they have – as to if my hard to please taste buds agree – we shall see 😉
What Can We Expect From The Just Juice E-Liquid Range?
And I’m hoping for tangy – citrusy – naturally sweetened flavours and blending that will easily become an all day vape [ADV].
I’m tasting the full range of 50ml zero nic short fills – best for Direct to Lung (DTL) vapers and the 10ml 20mg nic salts best for newbies and Mouth to Lung (MTL) vaping:

The e-liquids were sent to me direct from Just Juice free of charge and for the purpose of this review – so thanks for that 🙂
As always with e-liquid reviews, taste is subjective. What may be good for me may not be for you and vice versa.
OK let’s get stuck in.
Apple and Pear on Ice – 50mg Short Fill – Zero Nic – 70VG/30PG
Just Juice says:
Like everyone’s fruity ciders in summer, sweet and sour combine perfectly in this delicious apple and pear blend.
A refreshing cooling effect on every inhale leaving you all-a-tingle.
The warmth of the pear tries to overpower before that really quite pleasant coolant comes in damping down what was almost too much of a pear inhale.
Apple notes are a little lacking until the exhale when they do arrive but slightly muted.
I’m not a great fan of pear vapes and those hard candy pear drops make me cough just from the smell.
The aroma off this one promises big things, but it’s just a tad too sweet for my taste-buds.
Apple and Pear on Ice – 10ml – 20mg Nic Salt – 50/50 VG/PG
The warmth of the pear once again is to the fore and that nic salt element only adds to the heat.
The coolada effect tries to quieten it down but only just takes a slight edge off.
Again the apple is way way in the background and even on the exhale fails to push the heat of the pear out of the way.
Could be my brain playing tricks but this one isn’t as sweet, and of the two I preferred this one.
Blue Raspberry – 50mg Short Fill – Zero Nic – 70/30 VG/PG
Just Juice say:
One minute it’s sharp, the next sweet.
Your taste buds are in for a treat with this mouthwatering raspberry vape juice that has a wicked twist when you’re least expecting.
I getting more of a blackcurrant smell once the tops off and the slightest hint of a fruity perfume.
I was extremely surprised by just how sweet the inhale was giving an almost candied rather than fresh fruit.
I’m not getting any cooling effect either which leaves the exhale a kind of over-sweetened un-named fruit flavour which leaves me with a not very pleasant aftertaste.
The only twist here is me twisting my tongue to recognize what fruit this is.
Not for me.
Blue Raspberry – 10ml – 20mg Nic Salt – 50/50 VG/PG
Whilst not as sweet as the short fill this one is still far too sugary for my taste buds.
An un-discernible candy fruit flavour that sweet lovers will enjoy.
Again, not for me.
Mango and Passion Fruit – 50mg Short Fill – Zero Nic – 70/30 VG/PG
Just Juice Says:
If you’re into tropical fruits you’ll love this delicious blend.
It hits you with a juicy mango treat on the inhale, with and equally exotic tart passion fruit aftertaste that lingers.
Two fruits I enjoy both eating and vaping on so I was hoping for a real treat for my taste buds with this one.
The aroma definitely got my mouth watering, however once again that sweetness overrides any of the tart tanginess I was hoping for.
And when I say sweet I mean over-sweetened to the point of no return with my mouth thick with syrup long after I’d switched cotton and cleaned the coils.
Definitely not an all day vape for me I’m afraid.
Mango and Passion Fruit – 10ml – 20mg Nic Salt – 50/50 VG/PG
Again not quite as sweet as the short fill – but still far too sweet in my humble opinion.
If you like candied tropical fruit flavours then this is one for you.
Kiwi and Cranberry on Ice – 50mg Short Fill – Zero Nic – 70/30 VG/PG
Just Juice say:
Exotic kiwis are mixed with this colada infused vape juice.
You get a sweet – sour icy inhale, leaving your mouth feeling refreshingly fruity long after.
Two of my absolute favourite fruits in this one so again I was expecting a riot of flavour.
The inhale really does whack you with a gob full of kiwi with a hint of those tangy passion fruits in the back notes.
But even before the vapour hits your tonsils that sweetener kicks in drowning the promised tart tang with syrup and not even the coolada can save it.
The exhale is once again sugar to the fore removing any chance of those fruits to blossom.
Jeez drop the bloody sweeteners by half or even more guys!
Kiwi and Cranberry on Ice – 10ml – 20mg Nic Salt – 50/50 VG/PG
As above but again maybe not so sweet.
Another for vapers with an overly sweet tooth.
Lemonade – 50mg Short Fill – Zero Nic – 70/30 VG/PG
Just Juice Says:
You know how nice it is to down a freshly squeezed fruit drink on a warm day?
This mouthwatering juice tingles your taste buds exactly the same way, with fizz and zing for a refreshing citrus blast.
They’ve nailed the smell off this one – definitely fizzy lemonade from my childhood.
The promise of a sharp tangy vape soon disappears on the split second after you inhale.
Again those bloody sweeteners clog everything up!
Think a half filled glass of cheap lemonade left to go flat then adding a tablespoon of sugar and glugging it down.
Lemonade – 10ml – 20mg Nic Salt – 50/50 VG/PG
OK, and in fairness, maybe once again the nic salt version isn’t quite as sweet – but refreshing this ain’t.
Berry Burst – 50mg Short Fill – Zero Nic – 70/30 VG/PG
Just Juice Say:
Blackberries? Check. Blueberries? Check. Strawberries? Oh go on then!
All your favourite wild summer berries make an appearance in this luscious and juicy vape quenching blend.
I’d got through almost a large bottle of Evian mineral water at this stage, and still couldn’t get rid of what by now is a sickly syrupy coating inside my mouth and plastered over my tongue.
Again the smell from the bottle is divine, so is this one sugared to death?
An unpleasant perfumed fruit mush on the inhale with as you might guess – death by sugar.
This one’s sweeter than a newborn kitten wrapped in a bow sitting on a cute velvet cushion covered in love hearts and roses.
NO discernible fruit comes to the fore on either the inhale or exhale.
Imagine drinking a pint of undiluted cheap ‘n nasty mixed fruit squash – that kind of comes close to what my by now annoyed taste buds are getting.
Nasty perfumed after taste too.
A resounding NOPE!
Berry Burst – 10ml – 20mg Nic Salt – 50/50 VG/PG
OK again and in fairness, the nic salts are not as sweet as the short fill.
However the flavour isn’t doing it for me.
If you like overly sweet candy go for it.
Blood Orange, Citrus and Guava – 50mg Short Fill – Zero Nic – 70/30 VG/PG
Just Juice Say:
A whole lot of oranges go into this tangy Mediterranean mix.
You get the perfect balance of sharp citrus rind and naturally sweet and fresh summer juices – with a little hint of guava too.
Sounds bloody delicious on paper.
The smell is indeed bloody delicious too…however judged on the previous flavours – I wasn’t holding out much hope.
Drum roll please!
This one is almost and I mean a tablespoon of sugar away from being a very tasty vape indeed.
You get a real whack of orange and that zingy tangy peel on the inhale that holds its own far longer than the other’s I’ve tasted.
Sadly the exhale seems to sweeten up the more you expel the vapour and right at the end that annoying syrupy after-taste kicks in.
Could have been a fresh fruit sensation, but sadly is again far far too sweet.
Best of the bunch by far though.
Blood Orange, Citrus and Guava – 10ml – 20mg Nic Salt – 50/50 VG/PG
Again not quite as sweet as the short fill – but still far too sweet for me.
If you like fruit chew style juice then this is for you – fresh this isn’t.
Final Review Verdict
I know just how popular this range of e-liquids is, so I was keen to give them a blast.
You’ve probably twigged by now I don’t like them at all.
Far too sweet – far too syrupy and I would imagine they are serial coil killers to say the least.
All those sugary sweeteners will I have no doubt caramelize quite quickly in your coils and kill stock coils even quicker.
For the record I did add a nic shot to the Blood Orange flavour and left it for 2 days in the hope that might take the edge off the sweetness.
Sadly it made no difference at all.
Remember taste is subjective and Just Juice e-liquid sells by the lorry load – they’re just not for me.
A case of death by a thousand buckets of sugar.
Have you tried the Just Juice Range and think I’m talking out of my ample ass as usual?
