I guess given the price you could call the Lout vape juice a budget line – you’re certainly getting a lot of e-liquid for the price.

However most vapers know that the cheaper the vape juice is, the worse it can taste…so is that the case here?

lout vape juice review

This review will of course reveal all…however remember taste is subjective, meaning what I like you might hate and vice versa.

OK, the Lout Vape Juice comes in x5 fruit based flavours and in 120ml short fill bottles. They’re a 70/30 VG/PG mix and is made for sub ohm tanks and of course rebuildables.

I reviewed the juice at zero nicotine and to make 3mg you’ll need to add x2 10ml nic shots.

For the taste test I’ve used my go to Augvape BTFC RDA with a couple of Clapton coils at 0.12ohms and freshly wicked every time. It’s been on top of my Augvape VX217 at 100w and this past couple of days, the awesome SXMini Q Mini.

OK, on with the review and the Lout Vape Juice was sent to me free of charge for the purpose of this review – thank you – and as always my thoughts and opinions are not swayed by freebies.

Lout Dragon Fruit Whipped – 120ml Short Fill 70/30 VG PG

dragon fruit whipped lout vape juice review

Lout Says:

The mouthwatering taste of exotic dragon fruit is whipped together with a succulently smooth guava, this sweet e-liquid from LOUT is unbelievable!

I Say:

There’s some very tasty dragon fruit flavoured e-liquids out there…so is this one of them?

It certainly smells like it might be – very fresh and vibrant.

The inhale is bloody lovely with that word fresh making an appearance.

The dragon fruit is almost on the tart side before a hint of sweetness comes in.

Now I might be getting a cue from the name – but there’s definitely a hint of creaminess on the exhale.

The combination is bloody delicous and reminds me of Sunday tea at my nan’s lol.

Lovely stuff – however saying that not one I could vape all day as it’s a little rich for my palate.

Lout Cactus Berry – 120ml Short Fill 70/30 VG PG

lout vape juice cactus berry review

Lout Says:

A sweet and floral blend of cactus with tangy berries for a extra crisp kick.

I Say:

I tried a cactus based e-liquid a few years ago at one of the Vaper Expos and wasn’t impressed – at all!

The smell from this one certainly suggests citrus with a hint of sweet berries.

The initial vape is really quite good with a definite whack of ripened berries…

However, I’m assuming the exhale brings to the fore the taste of those spiky plants and I didn’t like it at all…

The word perfume in the flavour notes is bang on…far too perfumy and sweet for me I’m afraid.

Not one for me but lovers of cactus will enjoy this one I’m sure…

Honeydew Cucumber – 120ml Short Fill 70/30 VG PG

Honeydew Cucumber e-liquid review

Lout Says:

Fruity and sweet honeydew melon mixed with refreshing cucumber by Lout make this smooth and crisp tasting vape.

I Say:

I’m NOT happy with the smell from this one…at all!

I’m getting that almost musty melon smell and it’s NOT nice…

Things don’t get better on the exhale either, with that mustiness coming through even stronger.

I guess some honeydew melons have that powerful odour and taste, but this is way way too strong for me.

And try as I might, I can’t find any cucumber either which is a shame as it might have toned down that bloody awful honeydew taste…oh dear…

Listen I have a robust palate, but this one just does not do it for me I’m afraid.

‘Nuff said…

Lout Vanilla Blood Orange – 120ml Short Fill 70/30 VG PG

vanilla blood orange vape juice review

Lout Says:

A crisp and citrusy blood orange blended with smooth creamy vanilla to create this superb flavor by Lout.

I Say:

Lovely smell of oranges coming from the bottle – so good you can almost taste it.

This one’s actually quite pleasant…

It would taste even better if the mixers had eased off on the vanilla.

That is the predominant taste by a long way with those citrusy bloody oranges not quite able to cut through.

Think an orange flavoured blancmange maybe or even a smoothie and you’ll get my drift.

It’s OK, but again too sweet for me.

Lout Blue Raspberry Prowl – 120ml Short Fill 70/30 VG PG

blue raspberry prowl

Lout Says:

A fruity and flavor packed blend of blueberry and raspberry by Lout. A superb all day vape.

I Say:

I’m always on the hunt for an ADV – all day vape – so is this the one?

Sounds a bit weird but I’m getting the smell of candy floss lol.

And despite my fears of even more saccharine sugariness, this one is just and I mean just not too sweet.

I’m not really getting a blue raspberry effect as such, just a tinned fruit in syrup kind of flavour.

Not bad, but way off my preferred flavour profile but still the best of the quintet for me.

Final Review Verdict

I’ll pop these in the ‘budget‘ vape juice category and to that end they ain’t that bad.

The mix does seem to be over sweetened with a couple to the point of far far too syrupy.

If you have a sweet tooth then you’ll definitely love ’em.

As for me?

Not a range I’d buy so that means 600mls will be heading to my little brother.

I have simpler vape tastes these days - I never leave home without a Caliburn G, a Vaporesso Luxe 40 or Innokin EQ FLTR and a CBD vape pen or bottle of CBD drops in my rucksack...or indeed an Aspire Nautilus Prime X in my pocket... At home I'll be using various mods topped with the GeekVape Zeus X RTA or the Signature Mods Mono SQ topped with the Augvape BTFC RDA...
