The Modefined Lyra mod is a new mod by vaping brand Modefined.

lyra ultem marketing bannerModefined also make the Prism and Sirius mods which have both been well received – but we haven’t got our hands on any of their products yet!

The brand are also part of the Lost Vape company who really make some stunning mods including the new Mirage, the Paranormal and the popular BF Therion.

lyra amber and redThe Lyra has some big footsteps to fill!

The mod can output up to 200W and will require 2×18650 batteries which are not in the kit.

You get a lovely large clear 1.3inch screen which is full colour and looks stunning.

lyra silverThe internal chip offers Variable Wattage, Temperature control and full TCR modes.

Here is a little promo video from Modefined Facebook page – they state that the final retail version of the Amber mods will be polished rather than matt Ultem. (Still horrible).

The full kit also includes the Lyra Sub Ohm tank which has 2ml (or 5.3ml outside EU) capacity, dual bottom airflow adjustment and a push open top cap refill system.

There is a short video introducing the Lyra Sub Ohm tank below.

There are 5 colours to choose from – Amber/Silver, Amber/Black, Black/Silver, Black/Black and Black/Red.

  1. Hi! I have the Lyra 200w by modefined. I think it’s a pretty mod but I’m not sure about the TC mode. I’ve been using the TC mode with ss316l or titanium coils. With other tc mods, I’m able to lock the ohm. The Lyra mod, doesn’t seem to lock the ohm so when firing in temp control mode, the ohm jumps from .22 to .25 ohm. Stress resistance does not seem to be efficient as temp control coils expands when it’s hot. I’ve also had to lower down the TCR as preset doesn’t seem to be right. I don’t think it was built with the intention of using it as a TC mod. It seems to be an afterthought in the design. It would be great if this mod could lock the correct resistance. With Lyra, how can we have a consistent TC vape experience? Am I missing something? Can I actually lock the resistance?
