Yay – OBS have now released an RDA – the OBS Crius RDA.
I know I sound like a fan girl already – but OBS have really made some stunning tanks over the years.
I loved the Crius 2 RTA and the OBS Engine was voted in 2nd place for Best RTA by our readers in the recent EcigClick Awards.
So this new arrival of an RDA should really be a walk up flavour avenue if they follow the traditions of their previous tanks.
Externally this looks pretty regular – and is apparently “Wild and Gorgeous”!
One thing I am slightly sad about is there is no “pull up” top cap – which anyone with an OBS tank will agree is just ace!
The RDA version you pull the top cap off completely to add E-liquid.
The build deck is very similar to the Crius 2 – with a clamp system for dual coils which uses only one screw. Thankfully on the RDA version this is not a triangle headed screw!
Below the coil clamp is a Zirconia isolator – which is resistant to temperature, corrosion, non volatile and apparently is “no pollution”!
The standard 510 connector pin is installed to use this as an RDA. However the kit also contains a bottom feed 510 connector to convert this to use on a Squonk Mod.
The Crius RDA has an adjustable airflow which has 4 air inlets to make sure the air hits the coils from all sides.
There are 3 colours to choose from –Â Black, Blue and Stainless steel.

Being an OBS fan this could be an excellent RDA – combined with a squonk mod – could be perfect!
The price is pretty average for a big brand RDA so it isn’t daft money at all.
