The Smok Solus 2 is the update to the original Solus kit.
I hardly have to introduce Smok to anyone, but their pod kits have been very successful from the ever growing Nord range to the simple Novo range.

A few new features have been added for this version – including two airflow settings. But the Solus still maintains its tradition of being a simple inexpensive pod kit.
This version is designed for Mouth To Lung (MTL) and Restricted Direct to Lung (RDL) vaping styles. We tell you more about this in our Guide to MTL and DTL.
To achieve this the pod can be installed in 2 ways, one way will give a more restricted MTL airflow or rotate the pod 180° to open up the airflow for the RDL setting.
The pod is refillable with up to 2.5ml of your own e-liquid via the side fill port. Sadly in the UK and other TPD regulated areas this capacity is reduced to 2ml.
Inside the Solus 2 pod is the 0.9ohm Meshed coil, which is fixed in the pod. Therefore you don’t change the coil you simply replace the pod with a new one.
This is also compatible with the original Solus 0.9ohm pod too.
Inside the device is a 700mAh battery which is charged via the USB Type C port at a slow 0.5A charge rate.
An LED indicator displays fault conditions and also will flash when the battery is about to die – not very handy really? Whatever happened to the 3 colour coded LEDs to demonstrate the battery charge remaining?
This appears to be an auto draw device, where an airflow sensor activates the firing when you inhale on the mouthpiece.
Oh and the word “Solus” means Solo or Unaccompanied!

A couple of tweaks to the USB port type and adding another airflow setting should improve the original without losing the simplicity.

I actually just got this exact one in ocean green the other day because Im tryna to stop cigarettes and I would stay vaping I like it but eventually quit that too but the solus 2 is great, I get solus 2 kit for 19.99 at my local store in mass. They have a huge variety of smok products. I paid 14.99 for 3 pods and I pay 20 for a bottle of e juice at 30 ml 3 Time’s a month vs 120 a week for cigarettes its amazing and it feels like your smoking something not just air, easy pull and charge lasted over a day I’m very pleased with it and I haven’t had a real cigarette in 2 weeks now I started with disposable and I as like these are to much how can I do this cheaper n refillable smok solus 2 def was a great purchase
