The Smok Solus Kit is designed to be a cheap and cheerful pod kit – as a rival to a disposable vape.
Of course Smok is no stranger to the pod kit – one of the most successful was the original Nord which was a beauty and there have been a lot more since including the Thiner, RPM 4, Stick G15 and the Novo 4.

This is designed to be inexpensive and simple so there are no fancy features to brag about here.
But sometimes you just want something small and cheap that will do the trick – and even replace disposable vapes – this is where the Solus comes in.
It has a 700mAh internal battery which is charged via the Micro USB charge port and will output between 4-16W. This is not adjustable so I assume as the battery charge decreases the power will drop.
An LED is provided to inform you of the device status – however it does not say if this will also indicate the battery charge remaining? I hope so!
There are no buttons or adjustments – simply inhale on the mouthpiece and the air sensor will trigger the fire system.
The pod sits in the battery using a magnetic connection.
Capacity wise the standard pod will hold up to 3ml of your own e-liquid – this is reduced to 2ml in TPD regulated areas. Filling is via the side fill port.
There is no messing about changing coils – when the coil flavour has deteriorated you dispose of just the pod and replace with a new one.
So far there only seems to be one pod available the 0.9ohm Meshed pod and you get one of these in the kit.
There are 6 colours to choose from : Black, Grey, Silver, Blue Purple, Cyan Pink and Gold Red.

Yes the kit contents are stingy – no USB cable or spare pod – but this is priced at the price of 2 disposable vapes and you will get a lot more use out of this!
