The Thunderhead Creations Blaze RTA was designed in collaboration with Mike Vapes.
Thunderhead Creations (THC) are a slightly under the radar but still popular company and previous devices include the Tauren BF RDTA, Tauren X Pod, Artemis V1.5 RDTA and Elite Pro / Lite MTL RTA.
What To Expect From The Thunderhead Creations Blaze RTA?
On the product presentation video from Mike Vapes (included further down) he introduces the Blaze as the “Intake 2″…
The Intake RTA was made by Augvape in collaboration with Mike – so it sounds like he has adapted this design for the Blaze.
Anyway like the Intake this has a top airflow inlet which is adjustable and therefore less likely to leak than a bottom airflow.
The airflow then swirls down to the underside of the deck and the outlets distribute it around 270° of the coils.
Looking at the deck – this is quite an interesting design with 4 gold clamp screws.
It is designed for 2 wire coils and the shape is a “W” or “Wow” in THC speak. The posts curve around the coils to deliver the 270° airflow.
Capacity wise this has a 2ml straight glass but you also get a 5.5ml bubble glass. I am not sure if the bubble glass will be included on kits for TPD regulated areas?
Unscrew to the top cap to access the 2 large fill ports.
