The Uwell Whirl S Kit is a new All In One (AIO) simple starter kit.
There have been several “Whirl” kits from Uwell – I personally owned the first version the “Whirl AIO” and found it to be great, but there has also been a Whirl 2 tank and a Whirl 2 mod.
What To Expect From The Uwell Whirl S Kit…
The main components of the Whirl S Kit are the battery (or mod) and the tank which fits magnetically on top. As this is an AIO – the tank and mod are only compatible with each other (you cannot use a different tank or mod).
Firstly looking at the mod – this has a 1450mAh internal battery which you charge using the USB Type C port.
There is a fire button which you use to turn the mod on and off and also you can press this when you want to vape. However a sensor is installed which will trigger the vape when you inhale on the mouthpiece – so you can choose which fire system is more convenient for you.
An LED indicator is provided which is a light up ring surrounding the fire button – there is no mention of what this displays – I would hope it would display the battery capacity remaining.
Looking at the tank part now – this is where your e-liquid and heating element (coil) live.
The tank is refillable and to meet new Child Safety requirements there is a “CRC” version which has a locking top fill cap. The standard version just has a screw off top fill cap.
The coil is replaceable and on the CRC version there is also a “Coil Lock” system – again to prevent accidental coil removal.
At present there appears to be only a 0.8ohm Mesh coil – which as with most Uwell kits has the “Pro-FOCS” flavour technology. Yup no idea what that means – but all the kits which have this give off wonderful flavour so it is obviously a good thing!
At the base of the tank there is an airflow adjustment so you can play with the airflow to get it as open or tight as you wish.
Uwell also promise that you can wash the tank out under running water – for instance if you want to change flavour – you must remove the coil before you do this though!

It is always great to see simple starter kits and having owned several Uwell devices I know they really deliver on flavour!
