Subscription E Cigarettes From VapeClub
The Vape Club is focusing on a subscription based model of supplying electronic cigarettes, something we haven’t seen before that on the surface makes a lot of sense.
The idea is, for a flat monthly fee, you will have a choice of four monthly packages that are delivered to your door by a set date.
Sounds interesting but of course it all depends on the product so when Vape Club got in touch with us to carry out a review we jumped at the chance.
The kit we received was free of charge for review purposes but as always we will be honest with our findings! OK, onto the review.
In The Box / Presentation
The Vape Club ethos is to provide the best value product they can so the packaging is basic but it does the trick. We received “Package A” that consisted of the following:
- 1 Battery
- 5 Cartomiser refills
- 1 USB charger
Battery/Responsiveness
Vapeclub have gone for the mini e cig design made to replicate the look of a cigarette. The battery has a matte white finish that feels good in the hand and has nice subtle branding that doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb. So no issues on that front.
Moving onto the performance. The battery is automatic so when taking a drag it activates well….automatically. In the case of this particular battery it reacted well when taking a drag, no need for any primer drags to get the e-liquid heated up and vapourising.
One thing to note though is that Package A only comes with one battery and no matter how much you vape I would always recommend buying a secondary battery.
This allows for one battery to be charged at all times and assures you are not caught without a working e cig. You can of course opt for Vape Club’s Pakage B which comes with a 2nd battery. 
If you opt for a monthly subscription all products within that Package have a guarantee that lasts for the life of the subscription. So if your battery fails to work you will be sent another free of charge which is great.
If I am right in thinking though that this does not cover a battery when it happens to be draining down and holding less charge (as happens with all these types of battery) so if this does happen then you may still have to buy a new battery before it dies completely just for your own sanity!
Overall – As expected with the size of electronic cigarette the battery life is poor. Apart from that the battery is very responsive and performs well. I would recommend buying a 2nd or 3rd battery though or just going for Package B which already includes a spare.Â
Vapour/Flavour
The Package A starter kit comes with 5 tobacco flavoured e-liquids with a 16mg nicotine strength.Â
The cartomiser, in keeping with the look of a tobacco cigarette, has been finished off in the style of filter with flecks and all so definitely looks the part.Â
On taking a drag I was getting a bit of a whistling noise coming through which can be a bit annoying but in all fairness I didn’t notice after a while. The tobacco flavour is a good one being quite realistic and the throat hit that the 16mg nicotine liquid gives you is also good. The vapour volume wasn’t great for me but it did the job and if this is the first e cigarette you have tried you shouldn’t be disappointed.
Vape Club do sell one off e cigarette starter kits but the focus of their business and their unique selling point is their subscription service. As mentioned already Package A will give you 5 cartomisers per month, these are delivered on a set day each month.
This particular package (A) is definitely targeted towards light smokers that have a just a few cigarettes per day. If you smoke more than that then I would say go for one of the kits starting at Package B and above.
Of course cartomisers are also available to buy separately in a pack of 5 which is in a similar price bracket to other competitors.
The main problems I have with the cartomisers that are available is the lack of options.
There is no choice of flavours and more importantly no choice of changing the strength of nicotine you are vaping so for those that like to experiment with alternative flavours or even just reduce your nicotine intake over time then you may find this a little restrictive.
Overall – The cartomisers give an OK flavour and throat hit but are lacking on the vapour volume front. There are also no cartomiser flavour options or nicotine strength options so it is 16mg nicotine in tobacco flavour or nothing.

Returns/Warranty
If you subscribe to one of the Vape Club packages then they will replace all faulty items immediately within the life of your subscription. For other purchases they offer a 7 day return as long as the product is unused. For all the latest terms check out their website.

Overall
The idea behind Vape Club is certainly a sound one but I would say it is for those that really do want a completely ‘hands off’ vaping experience. The reason being is that although it looks cheap from the outset it does work out to be more expensive in the long run.
Yes, they do offer replacement batteries free of charge but these aren’t necessarily going to be something that goes wrong all that often.
The other thing is that they offer no options on the nicotine strength which is something that would be good to see. While I know they are trying to keep things simple a few flavour options would also be welcome, even if it was just offering a Menthol vape juice.
On the other hand the product itself is decent and if you really like the idea of a ‘set it and forget it’ type of service then Vape Club will be a good option for you.
If you are not too sure they do offer a disposable e cigarette as a tester. If you like it and go for the a subscription package then they will refund the cost of the disposable against the first order you make.
A decent way to try the VapeClub product but with so many other options out there which are ultimately far, far better I cannot recommend this.

Nice products, Have not tested all the flavours, But i did notice 3 of them are from E-Liquid company’s i have previously used, and know the flavour etc is good
Fast shipping, Easy website, Good prices, There are places cheaper online, But this company has great eliquid and great stock at decent prices, So cannot complain getting it all in one order
Great products and great service. Since switching from tobacco cigarettes to these e-cigarettes I’m now only vaping the equivalent to about 10 a day – so half as much as when I was on cigs, and I am really feeling the benefit in my chest.
What i really love is the subscription service – I use package B which is very cost effective, but most importantly I never have to think about it. I get my refills on the same date every month and I don’t even have to visit the website, and I cancel any time I like if I chose (handy if I ever do finally give up nicotine altogether!)
Nice product, efficiently presented and delivered. My order arrived next day and everything was ready to use out of the box. I gradually reduced the amount I smoke from 10 a day to about 1-2 per day where I get social pressure. Love the fact that my refills just turn up on my door each month, I hate running our of things
