I’ve been given an opportunity to try the Doozy Short Fill Temptations Dessert range of E-liquids. Today I may very well be in my element!

Doozy Temptations range 100ml short fillYes, I’m a massive fan of all things dessert when it comes to my vapes. That’s no secret. Neither is Doozy’s passion for creating such E-liquid delights.

Doozy Vape Co were established back in 2015. Originating from West Yorkshire in the UK they’ve rapidly grown to become one of the world’s most distinctive vape brands.

A quick glance at their online site tells us all we need to know. These folks mean serious business – and when I say serious I do mean that.

Doozy Vape Co LogoTake their Seriously range of short fills if you don’t believe me.

Seriously Soda, Donuts, Nice, Slushy and Fruity. If that wasn’t enough Menthol, Candy, Cocktail, Tobacco and of course Dessert based profiles are also available.

Doozy are catering to all vapers. From newbie to connoisseur. From 10mg salt nicotine to 70VG/30PG liquid ratios. For Pod puffers and RDA renegades.

And it’s befitting that they’ve won awards in practically every flavour category I’ve mentioned above.

Many moons ago I dabbled in a few of their flavours, taking in Berry Pie, Greek Delight and Vanilla Custard.

Let’s find out if the Doozy Short Fill Temptations range of dessert flavours are just as memorable.

What Can We Expect From the Doozy Short Fill Temptations Dessert Range?

Doozy are assuring us of something naughty but nice from their Temptations short fill range.

The 100ml short fill versions come in a 70VG/30PG juice ratio. So this makes them well suited to sub ohm tanks, higher powered pod kits and RTA’s (Rebuildable Tank Atomizers).

There’s enough space in the bottle to add two 10ml nicotine shots of choice. Doozy are providing these totally free of charge and are available in 15mg or 18mg strength.

Doozy Temptations range 100ml hand check imageSo you’ll either end up with 120ml of E-liquid with a nicotine strength of 2.5mg or 3mg.

Of course there’s nothing to say you have to apply nicotine shots and the range is good to go if you opt out.

For the newer or casual vaper with low powered starter pens or pod kits, Temptations is also available in 10ml bottles. Pick these up in either 10mg or 20mg salt nicotine strength.

On paper there’s everything to suggest I’m going to love these! The proof is in the pudding.

Before I start testing this quartet, I’d just like to thank Vapeclub for sending them over for the purposes of review. It’s very much appreciated.

Please do keep in mind that flavour replication will differ from device to device.

Because dessert based E-liquids tend to favour warmth I would suggest using higher powered devices such as the Voopoo Drag 3 or Vaporesso GEN 200 Mod and matching with your sub ohm tank, RDA or RTA.

I’m going to be using my RDA of the moment, the Digiflavor Drop V2 running dual NI80 fused Clapton coils with Cotton Bacon V2 as my wicking medium of choice.

The SX Mini SL Class V2 is my Mod of choice and with the coils settling in at 0.2ohm set to rock at 60W (3.4V)

As always, flavour is subjective so use my thoughts as a rough guide as to what you can expect.

Jam Tart

Doozy Temptations 100ml Jam TartDoozy Says:

Butter Dough Pastry combined with a Sweet yet Tart Blueberry Jam. A true Tea Time classic!

I Say

There’s quite a range of subtlety to this one and that’s most noticeable with the Jam content itself.

The Blueberry tastes absolutely divine and for a change about as authentic as it gets. The difference between this and what’s usually churned out is quite amazing.

The fruit is presented in a much subtler manner, accompanied by some very sweet, tart like back notes. You’ll get the sweetness at the start of exhale followed by that wonderful natural Blueberry taste.

That only makes up around half of the flavour experience. Think Blueberry Jam spread over butter in a warm pastry shell and you’ll be on my vaping wavelength.

So there’s a fresh out of the oven bakery base to enjoy making for a rich, textured exhale every time.

This buttery base is the magic holding everything together and you never get one thing without the other. The whole flavour experience resonates on the palate long after finishing the vape.

Jam Tart paints the most complete of vaping pictures. It’s the real deal – or at least as real as you could expect from the experiences of a Blueberry Jam Tart.

I think I’ve just found my ultimate Blueberry vape. It’s been a very long time coming.

Banana Split

Doozy Temptations 100ml Banana SplitDoozy Says:

A Velvety Smooth combination of Sweet Banana and Vanilla Ice Cream, makes this heavenly combination irresistible!

I Say:

From the very first exhale this is a combination of fruit and creamy milk.

Let me expand.

The exhale is incredibly smooth and creamy tasting, largely due to the milky, diary notes experienced throughout. There’s a deeper, richer taste involved and thoughts instantly spring to condensed or evaporated milk.

The sweetness is without doubt attached to the Banana content and as much as its flavoursome, isn’t quite the natural, organic type I was hoping for. There’s still a strong element of the foam, sweet type variety.

As a consequence it doesn’t quite blend as effectively with the dairy notes. I’m constantly aware the Banana isn’t as realistic as it could be and to an extent creates a distraction.

Again, the level of sweetness is a giveaway and contributing factor.

A natural tasting Banana isn’t as overpowering as the one vaped here. I think Doozy have fallen into the old trap of possibly trying too hard with the replication process.

Maybe too much concentrate has been added? I’m no mixologist but I am left thinking that way. Why would the flavour hang around the palate as long?

So I was hoping for a real dessert feast. Despite that creamy goodness, Banana Split doesn’t quite hit the mark for me.

Muffin Delight

Doozy Temptations 100ml Muffin DelightDoozy Says

A Gorgeously Soft and Scrumptious Muffin infused with Sweet Fruity notes with a hint of Cinnamon.

I Say:

My, oh, my. Am I in vape dessert heaven!

Talk about a rich, doughy experience. Muffin Delight is wallowing in it.

I honestly cannot say what’s best here. There’s certainly nothing to dislike, at least if you’re a fan of this vape category. I’m overwhelmed by a richness of flavour from the opening exhale.

All the bakery notes from a spongy bread roll tumble out from the get go and the Cinnamon is pure spice in a vape. It’s that good.

There is a sweet, fruity vibe present throughout and lies over the top of that delightful Cinnamon. But to pinpoint the fruits themselves? I find that quite tricky.

If my taste buds aren’t deceiving me it may well be in the form of cooking Apples. That could explain the heaven sent sweetness of Muffin Delight, for sure.

I can also pick out saliva inducing buttery back notes that harmonise perfectly with the warmth generated at 60W.

An absolutely incredible vape. The blending of the ingredients warrants the score line alone. That’s before taking into account flavour replication.

Even if bakery style vapes aren’t necessarily your number one choice I still suggest giving this one a look.

I don’t think you’ll be let down.

Strawberry Milk

Doozy Temptations 100ml Strawberry MilkDoozy Says:

A Silky, Smooth blend of Sweet Strawberries and Clotted Cream with a Splash of Milk. Creating Plumes of Happiness!

I Say:

A light and fluffy Strawberry Meringue. That’s how Strawberry Milk comes across.

It reminds me of biting down on those delicate crisp shells in terms of flavour intensity.

I’m not so sure about the milky, dairy content. There’s certainly nothing creamy about the exhale although the Strawberry is very much like the synthetic type you’d find in a drink such as milkshake, for example.

It vapes too lightly to be classed as including clotted cream of any variety, put it that way.

There’s not enough depth or richness during the exhale and what sweetness there is, is confined to the majority of the vape. That’s to say no zing at the end.

Doozy have put together a very consistent tasting vape even if I’m mildly disappointed at the lack of clotted cream.

Strawberry Milk isn’t a vape designed for connoisseurs. It’ll still have a fan base though, simply because it’s accessible to all.

Final Review Verdict

There’s no artificial colourant and very little gunking up of coils. The cotton does partially discolour after around a day or two but there’s a nice consistency to the E-liquid.

I applied two 18ml 70VG/30PG freebase nic shots which made them an ideal candidate for my chosen set up. They’ll also be well suited to a sub ohm stock coil tank or dual coil RTA.

These flavours crave warmth so I’d probably suggest the extended power a dual battery Mod can provide. I vaped the range at 60W with my set up and got just the right level of heat with a few extended inhales.

Vapour production is on point. So if you’re a cloud chucker, you’ll like these. It doesn’t take long to fill a confined space with that swirling, white mass.

As for the flavours?

It feels Doozy are catering to two audiences. The main stream dessert vaper and the more discerning flavour chaser.

Banana Split and Strawberry Milk are both no nonsense, simpler flavours while Jam Tart and Muffin Delight have much more depth, contain subtle flavour nuances and clever layering.

I wasn’t keen on the artificial nature of Banana Split and Strawberry Milk lacked the sweetness I was looking for.

But Jam Tart and Muffin Delight had complexities that would surface quite randomly and I liked that.

Those flavour nuances don’t go unnoticed on me, hence the scores.

doozy-short-fill-temptations-e-liquid-reviewIf dessert based profiles are your thing, Doozy shows just how it's done with Jam Tart and Muffin Delight. Rich in flavour and multi layered they taste just like the real thing. Banana Split and Strawberry Milk, while also quite enjoyable are more suited to fans of beverage based vapes.
