What Can We Expect From The EDGE Bar Salts Range?
The EDGE Bar Salts comprises a wide range of different fruity flavours, manufactured to offer great tasting, bold flavours at a wallet friendly price.
No animal products are used in these e-liquids, making them suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
These are 50/50 VG/PG nicotine salt-based e-liquids with double-concentrated flavours, so have been produced to offer a strong taste and satisfying nicotine hit, but without the harsh throat hit from traditional freebase nicotine liquids.
EDGE Bar Salts are primarily aimed for use in refillable pod system kits that offer a mouth-to-lung (MTL) vape.

As with any e-liquid, taste is subjective and in my review I will write up my own thoughts on my experiences with each e-liquid. Your experience may differ, as people have differing palates, preferences on taste and different vaping set ups which can offer a totally different flavour experience.
Because these have been designed for use in a refillable pod system, I’ll be using my Voopoo Argus P1s with a 0.7ohm pod.

Off to a great start with the review here! There’s no mistaking what you will get out of this liquid when you pop the bottle cap off, there’s a very strong smell of Blackcurrant, almost like Blackcurrant Squash.
And when it comes to actually vaping this, it doesn’t disappoint at all. It’s a full flavoured, bold and punchy Blackcurrant vape that is packed with juicy Blackcurrant flavour and a sweet mouth feel.
The Blackcurrant tastes authentic and EDGE have done a great job at capturing the essence of Blackcurrant here!
Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava

Straight from the outset I can pick up on the Kiwi and Guava notes, which I found to be quite strong. Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava is one of the more popular disposable vape flavours, yet this definitely packs more flavour than a disposable counterpart.
I found that the Passionfruit flavour note tended to get a bit lost amongst the robust Kiwi and Guava flavours, but other than that this really isn’t bad at all! A tasty, exotic flavour combination.
Blueberry Sour Raspberry Ice

The most dominant flavour I get here is the Blueberry, with the Raspberry providing a nice undertone and complimenting it well. But then again Blueberry and Raspberry always do make for a pleasing and sweet combination!
Blueberry Sour Raspberry Ice is well mixed and full of flavour, it wasn’t too sour and the icy note was quite subtle, rather than being an overpowering blast and a pretty pleasing vape overall.
Strawberry Raspberry Cherry

I’m really loving the authentic tasting Strawberry, Raspberry and Cherry notes in this e-liquid. I found it to be bold, punchy and full of flavour without being too overpowering for my palate.
A nice note of cooling rounds off this fruity little number and provides a pleasant icy chill on the tip of my tongue. Very enjoyable stuff!

Mango is one of my favourite fruit flavours, I’ve enjoyed many a Mango based e-liquid over the years.
EDGE Bar Salts Mango Ice is another one I can add to my list, an authentic tasting Mango is the first flavour note that I pick up on with a nice cooling breeze at the back of my throat.
I’m left with a pleasing cold Mango aftertaste and it definitely had me diving back in for more!

This one is pretty true to the flavour description from EDGE, there’s no mistaking the Blue Raspberry flavour which is sweet and punchy from the get go and this is followed up with a chilly fizz at the end to round it off.
It isn’t offering anything new when it comes to a Blue Raspberry Lemonade flavour, but it is mixed very well, tastes clean and is very refreshing!
Pink Lemonade

Pink Lemonade flavours are ubiquitous in just about every self-respecting fruity e-liquid range and EDGE’s effort as part of the Bar Salts range is a pretty decent stab at it.
It tastes just as I would expect, a Raspberry like flavour blended with a citrus Lemonade, with a bit of chill and fizz about it as well. Mixed well, and pleasant to vape!
Watermelon Ice

This has one of the most authentic tasting Watermelon flavour notes that I have experienced in an e-liquid, with a subtle and refreshing little hit of cooling blending in really well.
EDGE have done a great job with the Watermelon flavour here. I’ve only marked this one down slightly on the score due to my own personal dislike for Watermelon flavours!
Pineapple Peach & Mango

Bold and bright indeed, it’s a flavour combination that always seems to mesh well together – as long as it isn’t over-flavoured! I’m pleased to say that EDGE’s effort here packs plenty of Pineapple, Peach and Mango flavour and I felt that it absolutely wasn’t over-flavoured at all.
It’s a tasty, exotic vape that had me draining a pod in absolutely no time at all, and was one of my favourite flavours from the EDGE Bar Salts range.
Strawberry Ice

The Strawberry flavour here is definitely full on, which suits my palate perfectly, as I’m a fan of bold Strawberry e-liquids.
That being said, I was expecting an icy aftermath however I found this note to be surprisingly subdued.
That isn’t a bad thing in my book, as it allows the delicious sweet Strawberry flavour to really shine through. I got a very similar mouthfeel to a Strawberry Chewit sweet, which was very pleasing indeed!
Final Review Verdict
I feel that these are a very good range of fruity nicotine salt-based e-liquids, that are perfect for use in refillable pod kits or low powered kits with a mouth to lung draw.
Having a 50/50 VG/PG mix ratio means that these aren’t mixed to provide big clouds, it’s all about the flavour here and the flavour is good indeed.
Using double-concentrated flavours means these e-liquids pack plenty of flavour, that tastes very clean and authentic, with a nice and smooth vape to boot.
I was a particular fan of the Blackcurrant, Pineapple, Peach and Mango as well as the Strawberry Ice flavours! You can’t go wrong here really for the price that these e-liquids are available for.
EDGE Bar Salts are a great budget friendly option, given that they are priced less than a lot of other popular nicotine salt liquids. If you use disposables – grabbing some of these along with a pod mod will save you money in the long run over purchasing single-use disposable vapes.
