The Supergood e-Liquids Butter range review and these are from the folks based in Poynton, Cheshire in the UK.

They’ve recently revamped their premises and turned their vape shop into a dedicated warehouse solely for the purposes of serving their dedicated user base online.

They have one simple goal, “To make amazing vaping products and share them to the world“.

Supergood has become highly rated on Trustpilot, Google and Facebook. Our recent review of the Supergood Cocktail range provided us with a winning set of juices.

What Can We Expect From The Supergood Butter Range Of E-Liquids?

“Tall, dark and handsome” – that rules me out then!

Supergood tells us that:

The butter collection is here. Immerse yourself with a wave of buttery goodness, made with love.

You can expect to find the range of six flavour profiles available in both 50ml and 100ml short fill bottles. Ready for you to add the appropriate number of 10ml 18mg freebase nicotine shots, should you wish to.

For those that thoroughly enjoy them all, the entire line is available as a package known as the “The Complete Collection”.

These short fill issues have been released as 70VG/30PG liquid ratios so expect them to be suitable for tanks, RTA’s and drippers alike.

Supergood hasn’t overlooked the newbie vaper either. All of the Butter range can be purchased in 10ml bottles with the inclusion of either 10mg or 20mg nicotine salt. Perfect for those on lower powered devices such as starter pens or basic auto draw vape pod systems.

Supergood E-liquids Butter Range Packaging

I’m impressed. Super impressed actually.

A manufacturer that has the foresight to state exactly what’s in the tin – or bottle in this case.

Super good Butter E liquid range outer packaging

Not just that, but in big bold lettering with appropriate colours. I think that’s a pretty deft touch. A virtual clapping of the hands is in order.

How often have you struggled to ascertain the juice ratio of the bottle you’ve got? Sometimes it’s not even present or if it is, found hiding somewhere in text that can only be viewed by a magnifying glass.

Not so here, and again full kudos to the folk at Supergood.

Of course all those details are mirrored on the bottle labeling itself.

The labels have rolled off the production line and onto the bottles evenly and there’s space to view remaining juice levels through the tinted plastic.

What Am I Using To Test The Supergood E-liquid Butter Range?

I’m going back to my roots with this review. Using the Kelpie RTA which is known for superb flavour reproduction across the board and my trusty geek vape GeekVape Aegis Legend.

Using a single 3mm inner diameter 0.2ohm Wotofo Ni80 fused Clapton coil with cotton bacon V2 as the wicking medium I tested all bottles at a warm vape running at 55W.

The Kelpie’s glass tank was thoroughly cleaned after testing each profile and fresh wicking was applied prior to moving on to the next one.

So of course what I experience from the Supergood Butter range of e-liquids is likely to differ from that of yours should you decide to partake.

Everyone’s set ups are different and taste is always subjective.

I received the range free of charge for the purposes of review.

A massive thanks to Supergood for that. It will not however influence my opinion in any way. If these slip through my vaping hands like butter, I’ll let you know.

Of course if they are good or Supergood the same will apply.

Supergood E-liquid Butter Range – Butter 01

Super good Eliquid range Butter 01

Supergood Says:

Sweet mango and passion fruit topped with crispy meringue and finished with lashings of thick, fresh cream

I Say:

From the get go this one has been prepared with mango in mind. It’s the first thing that pours out during the exhale.

A healthy dollop of cream prevents the fruit from becoming overwhelming and sickly as mango often does.

I’m afraid I wasn’t able to pick out even the merest hint of passion fruit – must’ve got lost in my taste translation.

While the cream helps with a smooth vape, any meringue content is represented more by the level of sweetness found here.

You certainly experience the same effect on the back of the throat as when eating a crunchy meringue. I have to give Supergood kudos for the effect.

Yet as is the case with so many mango manifestations I have to keep it away from the wife…the inevitable “OOooh smells like cats ….” follows lol.

Supergood E-liquid Butter Range – Butter 02

Super good Eliquid Butter range 02

Supergood says:

A mouth watering medley of creamy custard, biscuit and jam topped off with a fluffy cloud of meringue

I Say:

Quite an intriguing one this!

You can’t help but pick out the smell of a very authentic strawberry jam preserve while adding the nicotine shots. It hints at something really rather special.

Unfortunately that’s not the case while vaping. The strawberry content mutates very quickly into a run of the mill synthetic and artificial attempt at a quick shake milk drink.

So the cream does much less of a job with Butter 02 and any biscuit content is sorely lacking.

I was hoping to taste something similar to a rich, digestive type but instead was left with thoughts of strawberry cheesecake.

I’ve vaped similar on many occasions and as such it’s not one I would personally return to.

Supergood E-liquid Butter Range – Butter 03

Super good eliquid Butter range 03

Supergood Says:

A light and moist lemon sponge with juicy, sweet blueberries, frosted with lush butter cream

I Say:

Well this one is a bit different!

There’s a very subtle candy like blueberry running through the heart of Butter 03. It merges and mingles with a lemon more sour in output as opposed to bitter.

The exhale is fleshed out with what can only be described as “fluffy” sponge as filling, and helps to give the vape some added volume.

The sharpness often associated with lemon has been nullified by an adequate dose of cream that sometimes appears, but in general is merely a background note.

Overall Butter 03 is a subtle blend of flavours but they do blend surprisingly well. It may come across as bland to some, being the least flavoursome tested thus far.

If candy style vapes are your bag you may well dig this one.

Supergood E-liquid Butter Range – Butter 04

04

Supergood Says:

Generous scoops of luscious ice cream mixed with fruity cereal and finished with crumbled chocolate cookie

I Say:

Butter 04 is a little bit harsher on the throat than the first three profiles.

There’s some very realistic ice cream content but not in generous scoops, I’m not really picking up the cereal.

Sweetness hits the tongue as if to indicate some underlying fruit notes but they are extremely hard to pick out.

Chocolate or more specifically cocoa bean is the mainstay throughout the exhale and sticks to the back of the nose, if that makes sense. Sometimes that can be an unpleasant experience but not so with Butter 04.

Again the element of cream saves the day preventing what could have been a rather sickly experience.

This time I get much more of the biscuit or in this case, cookie. It’s done very well and I’m reminded of chewy fresh cooked one, where the chocolate remains quite gooey.

It’s just a shame I’m prone to a few coughing fits with Butter 04. This one definitely catches the back of the throat, even with a mere 3mg freebase nicotine content.

Supergood E-liquid Butter Range – Butter 05

05

Supergood Says:

A gooey marshmallow pudding enriched with vanilla custard, lashings of vanilla cream and sprinkles of cinnamon

I Say:

Supergood are supergood at including lots of sweetness into their flavour profiles and once again it is a predominant driving factor with Butter 05.

Vanilla also plays a vital role when pushing out the vape clouds. It’s a very natural tasting vanilla too.

It has to be said that most of the marshmallow content is neutralized appearing mostly in the sugary coating of the exhale.

I’m a massive fan of cinnamon vapes so how does Butter 05 respond with its own version?

It is there, but in a very throat scratching form.

It doesn’t make me cough in the way Butter 04 did instead leaves a bit of a sting across the rear of the throat – which I’m no fan of.

Flavour over throat sensation everyday for me. I could have tolerated this side effect had there been flavour before the sensation.

I get mostly vanilla and cream.

Supergood do appear to have lifted their game and provided more with Butter 05 but it’s not enough to have me reaching for it on a regular basis.

Supergood E-liquid Butter Range – Butter 06

06

Supergood Says:

Blueberry cotton candy mingled with rich cream sandwiched between two sprinkle covered sugar cookies

I Say:

I’d swear blind I was smelling the same strawberry jam preserve that appeared in Butter 02 when removing the lid to pour in the nicotine shots.

In all fairness it’s a pretty fair forgery during the vape too. In fact there’s no way I pick out blueberry and if it’s there it’s hidden behind the strawberry.

There’s an element of candy round and about, the cream being anything but rich in variety.

As is to be expected by now, Supergood’s trademark of sweetness excels and does well at lifting the profile. Yet there also appears to be a few fruity back notes spilling out.

Could it be lemon again? Certainly hints seem present.

And what of the cookie? There’s no biscuit bonus with Butter 06 – at least not for me.

Unfortunately this is another flavour profile I just haven’t been able to adhere to.

Final Review Verdict

While I enjoyed a couple of the flavours they just didn’t do it for me on the whole.

There seems to be too much inconsistency to the cream content that features so heavily across the range with it only working some of the time.

It’s the Butter range but as many of you will know, the textured delights previously demonstrated with that concentrate have long since been removed.

Diacetyl was responsible for all those outcries of “popcorn lung“. Totally unfounded of course but butter vapes have never been the same since.

With the exception of Butter 01 the fruit content is underplayed and takes away lots of the interest and enjoyment.

Where they are included they lack any real ability to gel with other ingredients often creating a mish-mash of flavour.

I must give Supergood full marks for the levels of sweetness. That was certainly a mainstay across all six flavour profiles and put together very well.

Days after use, the coils remained in good shape with no caramelisation. The lack of colourant to the e-liquid also meant the range was very kind to the wicking material.

So have you tried the Supergood e-liquids Butter range?

Did you enjoy them and which is your personal favourite?

supergood-eliquids-butter-range-reviewThe Supergood Butter range of e liquids are intended for those that enjoy a dessert vape. Despite offering multi layered profiles and familiar ingredients, on a whole, they just didn't do it for me unfortunately.

  1. Fair play – liquid reviewing is hard – I am stupidly fussy – and dislike a lot of e-liquids, however like Neil in that case you have to stick to how closely the flavour matches the description of the brand.
If a brand states certain flavour profiles it is them you are judging on – if it was down to me not liking them a lot of liquids would score very low.
All we can judge on is if the flavour we taste matches the description and in a lot of cases it really doesn’t.
However on different equipment and someone elses tastebuds it can be a totally different experience.
Ecigclick reviewers do not get freebies in return for anything – we have our equipment sent to us via the site boss – we are asked for our honest opinion – if we don’t like it as long as we explain why then we can express that feeling. I am honoured to be part of a review site with no politics or restriction on expression.

  2. Hi Neil, Jamie from Supergood here.

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to review the range, we understand fully that taste is subjective. We are disappointed/confused that you struggled to pick flavours out from the flavours but it is what it is and we hold no grudge against you, this is your opinion at the end of the day and we accept it.

As for people assuming that the comments are from staff within the company, they are not. Butter has been a best seller for months now so we must be doing something right with it, maybe it’s just not for you.

    Thanks
    Jamie.

    • Hi Jamie.

I spent approximately 12 hours real time writing the review. That’s without writing notes the good old fashioned way and jotting things down during the course of time testing. Nothing I write is intended to sound biased as appears to be the case from various responses. In all honesty I don’t see why you are disappointed/confused? I just wasn’t a fan.

I take e-liquid reviews very seriously and try to leave no stone, or in this case, flavour note unturned.

Having said this, I can fully appreciate the fans of Supergood jumping to your defence. In many ways it’s something to feel proud of.

      Kind regards,

      Neil

  3. What a bunch of salty staff or associates in the comments. This is a review, not a statement of facts. I absolutely hate peas and carrots, and fish suppers from the chippy, lots of people love them.

The review was very eloquently written, the final score was in fact generous given how he didn’t like the flavours he was tasting.

Why do people need to be continued to be reminded that TASTE IS SUBJECTIVE. Its not complicated. Simply read they guy’s opinion and move along. I admire the honesty and integrity of the reviewer here and enjoyed the very in depth review.

And a final note, this review would not put me off buying the liquids because its only one mans opinion.

Top job to the writer and seriously, if the sandy people don’t work for, own or are associated with the company in question ill be absolutely gobsmacked. Ive never seen a juice review so obviously challenged to this extent. Ive never even heard of the liquid, and being involved in the industry in several ways, that’s not a good thing.

    • Hi, Daniel.

Thanks for those kind words. It could be so easy to overlook/avoid some of the beliefs I hold with this range. Much harder to express an honest opinion.

That’s why I’m here. To be honest and unbiased.

As far as Candy floss and Cookie are concerned? I went into that last one really hoping it would work for me. To combine, to fuse and reproduce into something rather special. It didn’t. I found that to be the case elsewhere. To receive a nasty throat hit and scratchiness on another with a mere 3mg freebase nicotine was something else I could’ve easily overlooked. Why should I?

It’s a personal experience, and it’s just one person giving that experience. I make no apology for it, either. To use the phrase yet again, “taste is subjective”.

By the way, how can you not like fish and chips, Daniel? lol

      Cheers,

      Neil

  4. Wow that’s 5 minutes of my life I’ll never get back in reading this as it’s the biggest load of crap I’ve ever read. While not being a huge fan of desserts I’ve got to admit the butter range is one of the nicest dessert ranges I’ve tried in a long time.

What’s up Neil does supergood not file your mailbox with freebies to encourage positive reviews from you like other known brands do?

    • Hi, Mike.

Thanks for taking the time to read the Supergood Butter range juice review. Mate! I totally respect your point of view. I’m not here to pee on anyone’s parade personally. I went into this review with an open mind and painted from an empty canvas for want of a better way to put it.

The tool I used to paint happened to be the Kelpie RTA and it has proved to work very well for me across a broad range of sub categories when it comes to flavours.

As for freebies? Bit of a low blow there as these were sent free of charge alongside enough nicotine shots to make each 100ml into a 3mg freebase nicotine ratio. I’m blown away by the generosity. So having those arrive through my mailbox was extremely appreciated.

It didn’t sway my opinion as you may well be suggesting though. As for “other brands” there’s zero discrimination.

I appreciate your point of view. Just a shame you can’t do the same with my review.

      Cheers,

      Neil

  5. Some quite seriously unbelievable comments here. I can only assume its from people associated with the company or working/owning the company..It’s a review not facts. Its one person’s opinion.
And for the person that said mediocre?? It was a very eloquently written opinion on the liquid.

How many times to people need to be told juice is subjective.

The best selling E-Liquid on the planet is Vampire Vapes Heisenberg and i know a LOT of people who HATE Heisenberg.

Take the review into perspective, appreciate the reviewers honesty and integrity for giving his honest opinion. Very few reviewers left out there can say they have always stayed honest and true

  6. Guys let not forget this is his honest review and whilst we love the SuperGood butter it might not be to everyone’s liking or expectations and as influencers/reviewers and promoters we have to respect other peoples reviews.

I personally love the butter range, it’s not often you can come across a full range you enjoy but for me SuperGood have nailed it with all 6 butters, and yes like many I have a preference on order that they fall.

For me one of the biggest things that jumped out was the first comment of not being able to taste passion fruit in Butter 01 where as I can taste it, so it’s a clear indication that everyone’s taste buds are different.

People have the option to read and watch reviews to get an over all idea of the flavours but wont know until they try it for themselves if they like it or not…..
All I’m say is with 10k following on Instagram it shows SuperGood is not one to be missed and well worth trying, and remember if butter isnt your thing theres always the cocktails to tickle the taste buds 😀

    Have a fab day all

    • Well said Sarah and thanks for the comment. Tastes do differ from person to person. This time around some of the flavours weren’t for Neil C. Will they be right for others, of course and it’s plain to see many enjoy the butter range.

We recently reviewed the Supergood Cocktail collection (and the nic salt version). One of the best juice ranges we have recently tried but I don’t think many of the other commenters on here even noticed that..

  7. I completely understand what your saying and thank you i appreciate that alot in terms of taste being subjective I would have also maybe liked at trying them on a dripper or even the use of multiple rta RDA even a subohm tbh the kit you used wasn’t exactly the best thing for the job I have never had a problem with the juice for flavour or have I ever thought I was synthetic I have used SuperGood for about a year or so now an I have never once thought that yah some of the juices are not to my taste but I wouldn’t review them if it wasn’t something I would vape but that’s me dude I think they have a fantastic brand and I think that they are producing some amazing juices and I feel I should stuck up for the juice that I love have a great day 👍

    • Hi again, Matt.

While I understand your remark about testing in various other devices there simply would not be enough time in the day to get the review out there on time. Probably like yourself, I have a full time day job.

Every profile was tested continuous and independently for over a day. I’ve always found it takes a good hour or so for the true nature of a flavour to work into the cotton and coil of choice. I took everything into account including changing the cotton for each test.

I find it very admirable that you are prepared to stick up for a juice you know and love. We need more passion like that back in the industry, Matt.

      Thanks again,

      Neil

  8. Who’s paying this guy what a shroud of lies you live in these juices are fantastic and the butter range is up there with the best in the industry hence them being up for multiple awards if you can’t be honest don’t review!

    • Hi, Adam. No, I don’t get paid to write a review. You also seem hellbent on assuming that I hate this range. Far from the truth.
I merely expressed my own individual opinion. Taste is subjective and especially so with all the different vaping mediums on the market.
I used the Kelpie RTA on various e liquid profiles before deciding to use it. Why? Because it gave me increased flavour with familiar juices and the same inferior taste with profiles I already knew were poor.
Again, from a subjective point of view the RTA was going to give me the best experience I could hope for.

I would rather not review at all if I’m unable to express an opinion, Adam.

      Cheers,

      Neil

    • You do understand that taste is subjective?? Even some flavours that may taste amazing to 80 out of 10 people, the other 20 people aren’t wrong, and neither is the 80 people. Its called a review, the opinions of a reviewer. Your hear to read a reviewers opinion. Just because you like them doesn’t mean he should also like them, its a ridiculous comment to make.

    • Hi, Adam.

I didn’t pay for the Supergood Butter range. I’m a reviewer. Honesty comes with the territory, my friend. Not lies.

Let’s leave everything else to the promoters and influencers, eh?

      Cheers,

      Neil

  9. Your review on ecigone was an absolute fucking shambles mate. The butter range is one of the greatest dessert ranges to have ever seen the vaping industry. And everywhere I look it has hundreds vapers posting amazing reviews regarding those flavours in question. It quite honestly baffles me how you can’t possibly like any of the flavours at all? Seems more like a personal problem rather than your tastebuds talking. Fully aware of your own subjective taste. But your review went alot deeper than just reviewing the flavours. Almost seemed like you tried to suggest the name “butter” was infact a load of bullshit saying that only one flavour gave you a taste of it, whereas the others didn’t seem to provide any sensation of butter at all. Absolute bullshit review on my honest opinion and don’t see how just one person’s personal opinion should be able to be posted on a website with such a huge fan base. Why isn’t the reviewing process done via a few people. Because like you said it’s only your tastebuds in which many others may taste something completely different to you. Hopefully your mediocre review doesn’t affect the brand because of course your fanbase will only follow suite and take your word for it

    • The beauty of reviews is you can read/watch a few before you make your mind up on a product or e-liquid range…whilst I appreciate your point of view Neil C did explain ‘taste is subjective’…not sure about a review on ecigone, but as I edited this one it certainly isn’t a shambles 🙂 Anyway I’m sure Neil C will be a long in a moment with his thoughts 🙂

    • Hi, Jamie.
Thanks for your input. I respect everything you have written. You’re fully entitled to an opinion as am I. I’m also not paid to get into a heated debate over a vaping E-liquid. There are many more important things to be worried about (again being honest). I am, however, taking the time to reply.
Just because hundreds of vapers post amazing reviews on this range it doesn’t mean there aren’t others out there that have an alternative view. I happen to be one of those with an alternative point of view.

There was no butter element to be found in this range, I’m not retracting that statement. I also explained the reason behind why it is so difficult to get that taste in the current climate surrounding “popcorn lung”.

The most important aspect from your reply was in your own honesty. I fully respect that. You just don’t want to respect my own opinion. I can deal with that in the grand scheme of things too, Jamie.

      Kind regards,

      Neil

    • Hi, Jamie.

I rated two of the profiles 7/10. That’s hardly “not liking any of the flavours at all”. Yes, taste is subjective. Yes it’s one persons point of view. It also happens to be an honest point of view. I’m sorry it doesn’t fit with your beliefs but it would be a strange ‘ole world if we all thought the very same way now wouldn’t it?

      Cheers,

      Neil

  10. Seems to me like you have just gone out of your way to slam the brand tbh everyone is entitled to an opinion and mine is this juice is up there with the best you must be tasting another juice I don’t think that any of these juices taste synthetic not even slightly all of them are very well balanced and very much what you get on the box

    • As Neil C says ‘taste is subjective’ and we all have our opinions which makes the world a more interesting place 🙂 Glad you like the flavour range Neil C obviously didn’t 🙂

      • There’s not liking them and then not liking a full range the review is a joke and I would like to think most people will see through the crap that is this review 😉

        • Matt,

I rated two of the E-liquids 7/10. Not quite sure how that translates as “not liking a full range”.

          Kind Regards,

          Neil

      • Hi Matt! I see you belong to the Supergood Fb page. Some of your pics are awesome mate.

I stated in the review that taste is subjective and I know you will agree with that. I went into the Supergood range blissfully unaware of the reputation they have gained. Had I known this it still wouldn’t have influenced my opinion.

The choice of atomiser (RTA) used to review was carefully cleaned and fresh wicking applied before each test. This was to ensure that I was able to avoid any flavour clashing or overhang.

I have to write what I feel I get personally from a juice profile. Subsequently you feel the need to express how you feel too. That’s a very healthy thing to do. It’s much healthier than simply agreeing or disagreeing. I totally respect your opinion but you refuse to accept mine.

Again, that’s fine but in closing I know I would lose all integrity were I to love every single thing that I Reviewed. There would also come a time when people would begin to doubt my experiences. Now that is ok for an influencer. It’s not for a reviewer.

        Thanks for the input,

        Neil
