Voopoo’s next entry into the Drag series of sub ohm kits is here with the Voopoo Drag 6!
This is the next evolution in the Drag range of devices, following on from the hugely popular Voopoo Drag 5- which was a daily driver for me!
The Drag series contains some of the most highly regarded and best selling vaping kits seen on the market, such as the Voopoo Drag 5, Drag S3 and X3, Drag H40 and the original Drag X.
What Can We Expect From The Voopoo Drag 6?
Voopoo have designed the Drag 6 to be a professional-grade built-in battery vaping kit that provides superior taste with precise control and stable, high-powered performance!
It is a sub ohm kit that packs plenty of power, thanks to the massive 4400mAh built-in battery with up to 220W of power output driven by the all-new GENE TT 3.0 chipset, offering the next evolution in Voopoo Drag vaping!
The GENE TT 3.0 chip is Voopoo’s most advanced chipset to date, integrating system-level optimization with an integrated battery solution.
GENE TT 3.0 delivers a faster response time, more stable output and enhanced safety when compared to other products on the market for both Direct-To-Lung (DTL) and Mouth-To-Lung (MTL) vaping.
Not only does the Drag 6 offer adjustable output power from 5-220W, but the vaping experience can be customised even further with 3 different modes.
Smart mode automatically sets the power for your coil, with an adjustable range. RBA mode offers adjustable power from 5-220W. And TC-TRC mode supports temperature control vaping from 200-600F with Ni200, Titanium, SS316 and SS430.
Leaks become a thing of the past thanks to the top-filling system and top-side airflow layout, with a 5ml capacity (2ml for TPD markets) and transparent tank section reducing refill anxiety, with compatibility for the PnP X series ensuring this tank perfectly adapts from DTL to MTL vaping.
A rotary air adjustment dial allows vapers to fully customise their draw with precise, visualised airflow control to dial in a precision vape, mastering every puff that you take!
On the chassis is a newly upgraded Precision Control Wheel to deliver an unprecedentedly smooth and intuitive wattage adjustment experience, offering precise control while enhancing interactive operation.
A 1.66-inch clear TFT display with a clean and refined UI presents all key information clearly at a glance, delivering smart interaction with your device. And there’s three different ways to unlock it, alongside three themes!
The integrated 4400mAh large-capacity battery brings higher safety and stable power delivery to unlock fuller vaporization and smoother taste performance, bringing multiple benefits over an external battery.
Many thanks to Voopoo for sending the Drag 6 kit in for review, lets see what it has to offer!
And as always, all views are my own…

Design & Build Quality
So, with the Drag 6 kit, you can pick from seven different finishes.
There’s brown, metal gray, green, red, blue, silver and black, and they will come with either a black or silver UForce-X tank II depending on which one you choose.

It’s got some heft to it too but isn’t uncomfortably heavy.
This displays all the information that you need, such as the battery percentage, device lock status, power output, output mode, puff count and coil resistance.
The theme can also be customised with three different ones to pick from, and you can choose to have a vaping animation display on the screen when you take a puff.
Above the screen is the power button, which is capacitive and can double as a locking button, ensuring the device unlocks when you place your finger on it, saving you from having any accidental firing issues in your pocket!

Good old fashioned 510 threading is present on the top of the device for you to screw your UForce-X tank II into.
The UForce-X tank II is manufactured from stainless steel and has a transparent glass tank section, allowing you see the full e-liquid capacity of the tank. A replacement glass tank section is included in the kit if you manage to break the original one!
On the top of the tank is a large wide bore drip tip designed for DTL and RDTL vaping, designed to get as much vapour into you as possible!
You can actually remove the drip tip and replace it with a different one if you so wish.
Quick Start Guide
How to Fill the Tank
Filling the UForce-X II tank is done by unscrewing the top cap on the tank and filling e-liquid through the filling port.
Once done, replace the top cap and let e-liquid sit in the tank for at least 5 minutes to allow the coil to become fully saturated.
Operation
- To turn the Drag 6 on and off, click the power button five times
- Lock/ unlock mode allows you to toggle the smart touch unlock setting by holding your finger down lightly on the power button
- Adjusting the power output is done by using the precision control wheel on the side of the device. Turn the precision control wheel clockwise to increase the power and counter clockwise to decrease it
- Click the power button three times to enter the settings menu
- Select ‘Mode’ to choose from Smart mode, RBA mode and TC-TCR mode
- Smart mode detects the resistance of the coil and automatically selects a suitable power output
- RBA mode allows you to set your own power output setting from 5-220W
- TC-TCR mode allows you to vape in temperature control with an adjustable range of 200-600F/ 100-315C. This is only supported when using an Ni200, Titanium (Ti), SS316 or SS430 coil.
- Theme allows you to pick from three different theme options
- Animation will toggle the flame vaping animation on or off
- Lock setting gives you the option of three different ways to unlock the device, with finger touch unlock, button lock or always unlocked
- Puff clean resets the puff counter
- Software is also upgradeable by connecting your Drag 6 device to your computer and visiting the Voopoo website to download the latest software version.
Charging
Boasting a massive 4400mAh built in battery, the Drag 6 supports charging at 5V/3A. Now, given the size of the battery, charging time can be measured in hours rather than minutes depending on your power output!
Whilst charging, the battery status can be viewed on screen by pushing the power button.
Voopoo recommend that you use the Type-C charging cable provided in the box to charge the Drag 6 device, and I did find that some of my other Type-C cables would not charge the mod.
Safety Features
- 8 second vaping overtime protection
- Low battery protection
- Overheating protection
- Short-circuit protection
- Overcharge protection
- Output Over-Current protection
How Does The Voopoo Drag 6 Perform?
With this kit you have pretty much all the power you’ll ever need, with an output range of 5-220W! That range covers all the bases, from MTL vaping right up to high powered DTL cloud chasing.
If you want freedom when adjusting the power output of your Drag 6, then RBA mode allows you to do that.
Temperature control vaping is supported when switching to TC-TCR mode, with support for Ni200, Titanium, SS316 and SS340 coils, I did not have any of these to hand so unfortunately I was unable to test out temperature controlled vaping!
0.15ohm PnP X Coil
The 0.3ohm PnP X coil has been my absolute go-to coil ever since I first picked up the Voopoo Drag S2 and X2 back in 2023, and it remains my top pick for the UForce-X tank II!
My sweet spot is a restricted direct-to-lung (RDL) draw right around 35 to 40 watts, and this coil just thrives there.
It delivers a beautifully warm, flavour-packed vape with enough cloud production to be satisfying, without being obnoxious if you are out in public.
If you’re into dessert flavours, this coil is a game-changer—it brings out every subtle note so well that it honestly gives some of my rebuildable atomisers a real run for their money.
It’s simply a brilliant coil all around!
0.3ohm PnP X Coil
If you’re looking to push the Drag 6 kit and UForce-X tank II to its limits and really see what it can do, the 0.15ohm coil is the one you want!
Pushing high wattages means you need a coil that wicks thick, high-VG juices fast without skipping a beat, and this one keeps up effortlessly.
It delivers massive clouds and an intensely warm, flavour-saturated vape.
I do have to mention, though, that pushing the Drag 6 over 100W and chain vaping will generate some noticeable heat. You’ll feel both the mod and the UForce-X tank II warm up in your hand, and the vapour itself gets pretty hot on the inhale.
My advice? If you want to keep the temperature comfortable, stick to shorter pulls and leave that airflow wide open.
Coil Lifespan
While Voopoo advertise that their PnP X coils can handle an impressive 100ml of e-liquid before burning out, real-world longevity always comes down to your personal vaping habits.
Things like your wattage, the PG/VG ratio of your juice, how much sweetener it contains, and even the length of your draw will all impact how long a coil actually goes on for.
I’ve been running both these coils daily, so I have a pretty solid feel for them. Honestly, they offer some of the best durability on the market right now!
Overall, I consistently get a solid 10 days to two weeks out of a single coil before it needs swapping.
Airflow
The UForce-X tank II features a top airflow system, with two absolutely huge airflow cut outs at either side of the tank. There’s a ‘Golden Triangle Airflow’ structure here that works to make the draw even smoother than ever before.
Adjusting the airflow is done by rotating the airflow control ring around the airflow intakes, giving you precise control of your airflow setting. There are two versions of the UForce-X tank II, a DTL and MTL version, and I was supplied with the DTL version in my Drag 6 kit.
As the name might suggest, the DTL version is geared up for big, airy lung hits but it also supports restricted direct lung by dialling the airflow down.
It’s a cloudy old beast of a tank especially when you crank the wattage up, this can fill up a room with vapour in no time at all!
Battery Life
As expected, the built in 4400mAh battery offers absolutely phenomenal battery life, especially when vaping at lower wattages.
I’ve been motoring along with the 0.3ohm PnP X coil at 37-40W for a good few days before I need to recharge, pretty much eliminating battery anxiety and making this kit an exceptional daily carry.
Battery life will take a hit though when the power gets cranked up, though the Drag 6 is more than capable of powering you through extended cloud chasing sessions!

Final Verdict
Though my vaping preferences have changed over the years with market styles and I now predominantly vape using pod systems with nicotine salt e-liquid, I am still a sub ohm vaper at heart.
And the Voopoo Drag 6 really scratches that itch to blow off some big, tasty clouds!
Ever since I reviewed the Drag 5 back in Summer 2024, I have still been using it frequently right up until the time of writing, which is testament to the longevity and build quality of Voopoo devices.
I can have absolutely no qualms with the build quality here, as the Drag 6 is an absolute rock solid daily driver featuring exceptional design, looks and is manufactured to the highest standards.
The Drag 6 represents the next evolution for Voopoo Drag devices, and sets a marker for other sub ohm kits to follow.
It is a phenomenal piece of kit that not only is able to produce huge, room filling clouds with ease, but it also delivers the tastiest sub ohm vaping experience on the market with outstanding flavour delivery.
Continuing with the PnP X coils for the Uforce-X II tank is an excellent move, the PnP X coils are some of the most popular and widely available ones on the market, with good reason too as they deliver outstanding flavour and longevity.
Deciding to pack a built in battery into the Drag 6 was a great decision by Voopoo, there’s no need to swap batteries in and out of it, you’ve got a massive 4400mAh battery here that powers you through long vaping sessions.
All in all, this is a truly exceptional vaping kit from Voopoo, so if you are looking for a high powered vaping kit that delivers on all fronts than look no further than the Voopoo Drag 6!
