Doozy were created in 2015 and now have a global footprint across 6 continents.
They are a family run business who “strive to ensure we produce the very best flavours”.
Also they have invested in renewable energy and say their products are 100% recyclable.
They are based in the UK and create fully TPD compliant e-liquids. Doozy use ISO 9000 and MHRA registered laboratories. Full traceability from raw materials right down to the retailer is something they are proud of.
No harmful materials are used in production and they can supply full toxicology reports on all their products.
What Can We Expect From The Doozy Seriously Bar Salts E-liquid Range?
The Doozy Seriously Bar Salts e-liquid range as the name implies, use Nicotine Salt in their e-liquid.
They have other ranges which use Freebase Nicotine or are Nicotine Free Shortfills if you are more of a Sub Ohm Cloud Chucker.
The name “Bar Salts” refers to the fact these should be competition for wasteful and expensive disposable vapes. If you can get the concentrated level of flavour in a re-useable kit why not go for it!

As always taste is subjective, plus the type of equipment you use will cause results to vary. So use my review as a guide. I will try and focus on how well the flavours meet the descriptions.
These come in TPD Compliant 10ml bottles with either 5mg, 10mg or 20mg Nicotine Salt strengths.
The e-liquid mix ratio is 50%PG / 50%VG which is more suitable for low power kits. This mix is too thin for higher power kits and may cause leaks and spitting.
There are 8 flavours in the range and I will be reviewing them all!
I will be using my Vandy Vape Berserker V2 MTL RDAÂ with clean cotton for each flavour.
Packaging
Each bottle comes in a sealed box and the bottle has a tamper-proof and child-proof cap.
On the cap the e-liquid expiry date is clearly labelled.
Also you will find the PG / VG ratio, Nicotine strength, applicable warnings and full ingredients printed on the box.
Nice work Doozy – I like to see everything listed on the box.
Watermelon Ice

The smell is very Watermelony – great…
I am not a fan of Watermelon (plus others as you will find out during this review), so I really hope that Doozy can change my mind!
Yes this is as expected, very very fresh Watermelon with enough cooling to mimic a cool layer of water around it. Not too much cooling that the flavour is killed either.
I don’t like it – I will be blunt – that is not Doozy’s fault – it is the Watermelons fault for being yuk.
There is no mad sweetener in here either. It is a super well balanced blend where the cooling just enhances the refreshing Watermelon.
It has to be a 10/10 – even though I am not a fan!
Triple Mango Ice

Oh dear the first flavour was one I dislike (Watermelon) followed by another of my vape Nemeses – Mango – Urgh.
The things I do for you guys!
But to be fair in the sister review to this – the Doozy Mix Salts – there were some flavours I was dreading – which actually turned out to be yummy – so I have faith in you Doozers!
Right then Big Girl Pants on – the aroma is what I would expect from Mango but with a sweeter smell.
Here we go – can you tell I am dreading this! I am really having to Psych myself up.
Urgh – as expected – I don’t like Mango.
The typical earthy / soily taste is there with a slight perfumey “Shampoo In Your Mouth” aftertaste.
However I am not getting any ice at all?
Nah this is not for me – but it is a great replica of Mango – just dropping a mark for not enough cooling for it to be classed as an “Ice” flavour.
Strawberry Kiwi

Oh dear I am being a fussy cow again – I hate Kiwi. It reminds me of eating soap. I am not doing very well with the range of flavours here.
I know reviewing vapes is quite an ace job – but there are times when we are faced with things we dread.
But I have faith that if anyone can change my mind – it will be Doozy. Plus I am hoping the strength of the Strawberry can take the detergent edge off for me!
The smell from the open bottle is definitely promising, reminding me of Strawberry Laces!
Sadly the promising smell is totally different to the vaping experience?
The Kiwi has pretty much wiped out the Strawberry but it doesn’t taste much of Kiwi either. They appear to have somehow cancelled each other out?
Very strange, it is similar to a very over-diluted squash (cordial) drink where there is a tiny faint hint of what the flavour should be, but mainly tastes of water.
Mr Blue

When it comes to flavour descriptions – this one sounds right up my street – bring on the berries!
The fragrance is full of the joys of berries – I really want to love this!
Yay this is more like it!!
This is a teeny weeny bit too sour for me – but it still is a lovely berry medley.
There are no dominant fruit flavours but a mash up of Blackcurrant, Blueberry and possibly Raspberry.
A nice touch is the very very gentle note of cooling which really brings the berries to life.
Although not quite sweet enough for me, this is a beauty. The description does mention it will be “sweet and sour” and it definitely delivers that.
Lemon Lime

I Say…
As the name suggests this should be a pretty easy flavour profile to review – just two main components.
Smell wise – this is giving off the concentrated Lemon and Lime whiffs I would expect!
I have drunk the Lemon and Lime combo many times – whilst it is not my preference I understand what it should taste like.
I can 100% taste Lemon and Lime and they do blend together well with neither being too dominant.
A small tinge of cooling would be welcome with this flavour as it would just brighten it up a bit. As it stands it is a bit heavy – not the refreshing zing you would expect.
It is neither tangy or sweet, it just feels a bit deep and earthy – no tongue tingles or vibrancy.
Anyway it is pretty close to description so it does deserve higher marks, but slight tweaks could really bring this to life.
Kiwi Passion Guava

I Say…
Uh oh – another one I am pulling a face about (sorry for moaning), but I have been a bit unlucky with this e-liquid range so far! Most of the flavours contain at least one element I am not fond of.
I have sampled a few e-liquids with the same flavour profile and this smells how I was expecting it to.
Yep the familiar suspects are there, but thankfully (Praise Be to Doozy!!) there is a lovely little sweet tangy note on the exhale.
I am so grateful there was that little twist at the end to make this a much more pleasurable experience.
It is almost like a sweet zip of sherbet which almost makes you giggle and makes this the best Kiwi, Guava and Passionfruit vape I have ever tasted.
I would go so far as to say I actually might like this! It was only after I went to move on to the next flavour I realised I had been vaping this for around 15 minutes and had topped up my RDA about 5 times! Unthinkable!
Well done Doozy – you have achieved the impossible here. I would give it 15/10 if I could!
Cola Ice

Yes – I am looking forward to this one – I love Cola flavours and enjoy my one can of Diet Coke a day. I used to be a Coke (as in Cola not powder) addict a few years ago sinking around 6-8 litres of the stuff a day! As you can see I have massively reduced this now and restrict myself to a single can a day!
One image can tell you exactly what this smells like – Yep – Cola Bottle Sweets.
I know this smell as I used to sort out all the “Pick n Mix” sweet bags in my first job in a Newsagents and the smell is the same as opening a big tub of them.
Flavour wise this is more of the synthetic confectionery variant of Cola rather than an ice cold bubbling glass of the stuff.
In fact there is no cooling that I can feel – despite the name including “Ice”.
Sadly I am not keen on this version, it is too strong to thoroughly mimic that lovely sweetie version and there is no ice to make this refreshing.
To summarise – this is OK but as my school report often said… “Could do better”…
Black Ice
Doozy Says:

If the smell is anything to go by I am expecting a Ribena style flavour. My favourite drink is Blackcurrant Squash so everything crossed this is similar!
Firstly I get the ice on inhale – which isn’t overdone or overpowering – it is nicely restrained.
Then we move into the fruity territory and the Blackcurrant and Blackberries really join together beautifully to give a rich and well-rounded flavour.
If the cooling wasn’t there this might become too concentrated, but the ice just takes the edge off the heavy flavouring to make it more refreshing.
Again this is slightly on the sour side of things, I would personally like a bit more sweetness, but that might make the flavour less realistic.
I would say this is a faithful rendition of a true fruity flavour with a hint of refreshment to counteract the earthy heavy vibes.
Doozy Seriously Bar Salts E-liquid Final Review Verdict
I enjoyed a Kiwi, Passionfruit and Guava e-liquid.
A sentence I never thought I would type – ever.
I was a bit unlucky with the first few flavours in the review as they were flavours I dislike. But even then the first two were very good replications of the flavour.
Strawberry Kiwi was a bit of a let-down where both flavours weirdly seem to have cancelled each other out and Cola Ice was disappointing.
But otherwise, what a brilliant range these are and at that price point you cannot grumble at all.
The flavours were clear and strong enough to compete with a disposable vape.
So ditch ya disposable, grab a lovely pod kit and get these flavours down you.
Nice one Doozy! Seriously tasty!
