The Geekvape Max100 is the update to the original Aegis Max.
Blimey the Aegis range has not stopped reproducing! We have had dual battery mods – Aegis Legend, Aegis L200, single battery versions Aegis S100, Aegis Solo, internal battery versions Aegis M100, Aegis Mini, squonk versions Aegis Squonk and even pod versions – Aegis Boost and B100!
More Details On The Geekvape Max100 Kit…
The kit consists of the new Max100 box mod and the Geekvape Z (Zeus) 2021 Sub Ohm tank.
The tank has been covered in other reviews (Geekvape S100 Kit) so I won’t go into massive detail on that.
But just as a basic rundown this has the top airflow inlet which helps prevent leaking and you can adjust the incoming air to your preference.
Coil wise this uses the Z Series sub ohm coils which are compatible with other Zeus tanks and the 0.2ohm and 0.25ohm coils are included in the kit.
Filling is taken care of with the screw off top cap which apparently has enlarged fill ports to make filling easier.
Moving onto the mod which is the new part of the kit.
You will need a single 21700 or 18650 battery to power this – if using the 18650 an adaptor is included in the kit.
You can choose from Variable Wattage or Temperature Control user modes and the output is specified as 5-100W (0-8.5V).
A colour TFT 1.1inch screen is provided to view all of your vaping data.
As you expect from an Aegis mod this is IP68 rated as Waterproof, shockproof and dust proof – ideal for clumsy arses like me.
A great feature which is found on the new Aegis mods is the “A-Lock” system. Basically a slide switch to enable you to lock the buttons when carrying to prevent accidental operation.
