Design & Build Quality
The monolithic NeXLIM 2 measures in at 127.5mm x 28.5mm x 17.5mm and weighs in at 88.5g, and this is a real stunner of a device!
You’ve got nine different premium-looking designs to pick from here, with Black Warrior, Mocha Brown Leather, Green Leather, Pearly White, Shiny Purple, Shiny Pink, Bright Brown Leather, Black Leather and the special edition Color Clash.
The Color Clash edition boasts a World Cup-inspired design, making it a great companion for watching your team in nervy extra-time or getting you through a nail-biting penalty shoot-out!
Depending on your choice of design, the OXVA NeXLIM 2 is constructed from Zinc alloy+PCTG+PC/PU and boasts OXVA’s trademark premium build quality.
Honestly, the NeXLIM 2 is pretty much flawless when it comes to build quality, and it’s a real looker as well! But not only does it look great, it feels comfortable in hand and slides easily into my pocket too.
On the front of the device is a 0.85″ HD colour screen, which is the same size and shape as the original NeXLIM, giving you some instant familiarity there. The screen seems to be even clearer this time around, and can be customised with a range of different themes.
Seven of these are locked behind your usage of the device however, and some of them unlock at random, so you might be puffing away and be greeted with a new theme that you have just unlocked!
The NeXLIM Cartridges are held firmly in place by a highly effective magnetic connection. The magnets are impressively robust, ensuring a secure, flush fit to the device and completely eliminating any frustrating connection issues during everyday use.
Capacity-wise, these pods accommodate either 2ml or 4ml of e-liquid, depending on whether you purchase the TPD version or non-TPD version.
One of the most practical design choices, however, is the fully transparent pod. This is easily a standout feature for me, as it offers total visibility of your remaining e-liquid and takes all the guesswork out of knowing when it’s time for a refill!
Quick Start Guide
How to Fill the Pod
From a practical standpoint, the NeXLIM Cartridges offer an incredibly convenient refilling experience!
The standout feature is undoubtedly the top side-fill mechanism, which allows you to replenish your e-liquid without ever needing to remove the pod from the NeXLIM 2 Mini device- simply pull back the silicone plug and fill.
However, a word of caution based on my testing: avoid filling the pod completely to the top, be sure to leave a small air bubble so that e-liquid doesn’t overflow out onto your NeXLIM 2.
Finally, as with any new pod system, ensure you allow at least five minutes for the e-liquid to properly prime the cotton before your first draw to prevent dry hits.
Operation
Adjusting settings on the NeXLIM 2 is achieved via a combination of different button presses using the function button on the side of the device-
- A single click wakes the screen up
- Two clicks switch between Eco and Boost modes
- Three clicks allow you to adjust the wattage
- Four clicks will allow you to change the theme
- Five clicks turn the device on and off
- Six clicks turns the vaping animation on or off
- Seven clicks will clear the puff counter
Also, by long pressing the power button, you can actually bring up an on-device operating guide which is really handy if you’ve forgotten the button combinations and want to change some settings!
Charging
For a device boasting a huge 2000mAh battery, the OXVA NeXLIM 2 is one of the fastest charging ones that you can buy!
You have 5V/3A fast charging here, so by using a compatible charger you can take advantage of some rapid charging speeds. For instance, if you need to charge your device up in a hurry, it will charge up to 80% in less than 20 minutes.
That is outstanding and saves you having to wait around for your NeXLIM 2 to charge back up!

How Does The OXVA NeXLIM 2 Perform?
With the NeXLIM 2 retail kit, you get two NeXLIM Cartridges included- the 0.6 ohm and the 0.8ohm version. You can also purchase a 1.2ohm version separately if you prefer a tight MTL draw.
In terms of power, you’ve got everything you need here, with an adjustable power range of 5-40W!
Not many refillable pod systems venture past the 40W mark as there’s no real reason to, and I have found that 33-35W with the 0.6ohm NeXLIM cartridge is powerful enough for me.
You’ve also got the option of switching between eco and boost modes on the fly, eco mode will restrict the power delivery somewhat to extend battery life, whereas boost mode delivers more power to the coil to intensify the flavour further.
Power output is extremely consistent and reliable, and that is down to the Super Pulse Technology. Right from the first puff to the very last, I get a consistent vape with no wild power variances and no noticeable drop off in vape quality when the battery is running low.
Flavour
With the 0.6ohm NeXLIM cartridge, I have found that this pod is perfectly set up to take full advantage of the higher power settings found on the NeXLIM 2, and this one is the ideal choice if you vape RDL.
Though I will say that the 0.6ohm cartridge is a very thirsty one, especially if you are vaping over 30W, I received the 4ml cartridges to try out and I could quite easily vape through almost two pods worth of e-liquid in a single day!
The 0.8ohm NeXLIM cartridge is more versatile than the 0.6ohm one in that it can handle MTL and RDL vaping equally well, although if you are a tight MTL draw purist then you will want to purchase the 1.2ohm cartridge!
With both pods, I have noticed that the Unitech 3.0 technology really seems to make a difference to the vape, as when I compared it side by side with one of the older gen NeXLIM Cartridges the flavour delivery somehow seemed even smoother and more pronounced.
And that is really saying something as NeXLIM Cartridges are absolutely up there with the very best money can buy!
These truly are the flavour purists pod of choice, as there are little else out there that can stand shoulder to shoulder with the quality of vape that these pods deliver.
In terms of vaping in either eco or boost mode, this will come down to your own vaping preferences, but as I prefer a more intense and warmer vape I almost exclusively use my NeXLIM 2 with boost mode activated!
Pod Lifespan
A major advancement in this latest iteration of NeXLIM pods is the integration of Unitech 3.0 technology.
This upgrade promises both a smoother flavour profile and a robust, three-fold anti-leak system—claims that hold up perfectly in practice!
Throughout my testing with the NeXLIM 2 Mini, the pod remained completely leak-free, yielding only a minuscule amount of standard condensation after days of continuous heavy use.
Furthermore, the longevity of these pods has noticeably improved over the original NeXLIM cartridges. At the time of writing, my original cartridges supplied in the box are still performing flawlessly after more than a week of heavy, daily use!
Airflow
Airflow is one of the areas that has received an upgrade over the original NeXLIM pod system, and with the NeXLIM 2 there is a three-level precision airflow control located on the side of the device.
In practice, I’ve found that this allows for seamless adjustment between a tight MTL right up to an open and airy RDL draw, with everything in-between!
The NeXLIM 2 is no slouch when it comes to cloud production too, as when you open the airflow up and crank up the power, this can deliver some very dense clouds for a pod system!
Battery Life
The internal battery receives a huge upgrade over the NeXLIM’s 1500mAh one, as the battery in the NeXLIM 2 boasts a whopping 2000mAh capacity!
In practice, this makes a big difference, as I have found that even if you are vaping at high wattage and using boost mode, you can still get a full day’s usage before you need to charge it back up.
Vaping at lower wattages and utilizing eco mode stretches that battery life out even further, with usage time measured in days!

Final Verdict
I’ve been a long term user of the original OXVA NeXLIM and that was pretty much the perfect pod system for me, I couldn’t originally see how OXVA would improve upon the high bar they set with the NeXLIM.
But colour me impressed—OXVA has somehow taken an absolute masterpiece and made it undeniably better. The NeXLIM 2 doesn’t just meet expectations; it completely obliterates them, setting a formidable new benchmark for the rest of the market to chase!
Everything about this kit feels like a genuine, carefully considered upgrade. The leap to a massive 2000mAh internal battery is a total game-changer, delivering guaranteed all-day vaping even if you’re hammering the 40W Boost mode. Factor in that lightning-fast 5V/3A charging (80% in 20 minutes is just brilliant!), and battery anxiety is officially a thing of the past.
When it comes to performance, the new Unitech 3.0 cartridges are nothing short of phenomenal. The flavour delivery is ridiculously smooth and robust, capturing every note of your e-liquid perfectly. The pod longevity is off the charts, too—I’m well past a week of heavy, daily use with my original NeXLIM cartridges and it hasn’t skipped a beat.
Plus, their three-fold anti-leak promise is absolutely spot on; it’s been a completely dry, mess-free experience from day one.
OXVA are one of my favourite manufacturers and for good reason- every product I try out of theirs just seems to absolutely nail it, and the build quality and looks of their devices are virtually unmatched. I have always got an OXVA device in my daily rotation!
Upon reflection, the NeXLIM 2 is without a doubt my favourite pod system of 2026 so far, and one that I am sure I will be using long into the future- much like the original NeXLIM!
