The XROS 6 Mini comes bundled with the latest generation of XROS series pods, featuring the newest Corex 3.0 technology and 60 second Smart Prime to get you vaping within a minute!

Design & Build Quality
I love a small, pocketable pod system and the Vaporesso XROS 6 Mini ticks the boxes with its 106.20mm x 24.55mm x 14.65mm dimensions and 83.5g weight, making this easily pocketable and nice to hold in hand.
Vaporesso have gone all out on the finishes with the XROS 6 Mini, with a massive range of colour options to pick from, featuring Black, Brown, Titanium Black, Titanium Silver, Plume White, Plume Pink, Plume Blue, Jelly Green, Jelly Pink, Jelly Blue, Jelly Orange, Leather Brown, Leather Pink, Leather Silver, Blue Denim, Black Denim, Racing Black and Racing Green.
That is probably the highest number of finish options I’ve seen for a refillable pod system, Vaporesso really looked to cover all the bases there!
I received the Jelly Pink and Plume Pink versions for review, I was particularly enamoured with the Plume Pink version which features a beautiful pearlescent finish on the body which reminded me of a sea shell.
Build quality is excellent on the XROS 6 Mini, the finish on the device is very smooth and pleasant to hold in hand, with metallic pink accents on the side and comfortable rounded edges on the body.
This is a real, premium looking mini device I must say!
XROS pods snap into the XROS 6 Mini device satisfyingly, and the magnets here are strong- holding the pod firmly in place.
When the pod is in place, you can see the whole e-liquid level inside the pod, and you don’t need to remove the pod either to refill thanks to the top-filling system.
Quick Start Guide
Firstly, you’ll want to get your pod filled, and before you do this make sure you remove the red safety sticker from the base of the pod.
The Vaporesso XROS pods feature a reliable, user-friendly top-fill system.
Simply detach the mouthpiece with your thumb to reveal the filling port. Insert your e-liquid bottle directly into the designated red port to refill, taking care to avoid the smaller port on the opposite side.
With the Smart Prime feature, you only need to let e-liquid sit in the pod for 60 seconds before you vape. This gives the XROS 6 Mini an advantage over other devices, which normally require at least a five minute wait before you vape!
I waited exactly 60 seconds when I first filled up the pod and the pod was most definitely well-primed and ready to vape, with no dry taste to it.
To vape, all you need to do is to take a puff on the mouthpiece. There are no buttons on the device, and the XROS 6 Mini features an auto-draw system to instantly produce vapour when you take a puff.
A five level LED battery indicator lights up on the front of the device when you take a puff, and stays hidden when not in use. A single light means 0-20% battery is left, two lights mean 20-40%, three is 40-60%, four is 60-80% and five is 80-100%.
This system means that it is easy to know just how much battery remains at a glance, though the lights do blink out quite quickly so you need to check the level pretty much as soon as you have finished having a draw on it!
You can also switch between Eco and Power modes by taking two quick puffs in under one second. When in Eco mode, the battery indicator will pulse whenever you draw on the device, in Power mode there will be a tidal effect displayed whereby the LED lights will sequentially light up.
Charging
To charge the device, you just need to plug a USB-C cable into the charging port located on the side of the XROS 6 Mini, and utilize a suitable power output.
Thanks to 5V/2A charging, the XROS 6 Mini will charge back up to full in under an hour. Whilst charging, the LED indicator will display the charging status, and the device is fully charged when all five lights are visible on the front of the device.

How Does The Vaporesso XROS 6 Mini Perform?
The Vaporesso XROS 6 Mini is able to output up to a maximum of 30W, however this is only available when using the 0.4ohm XROS Series Pod, which is sold separately. A 0.6omh XROS Series Pod comes bundled with the device.
Output power is smartly determined by the inbuilt chip, and is automatically set depending on the resistance of the coil in your XROS Series Pod, to deliver the most optimal vape at all times.
Power output will decrease in-line with battery level, but the change is so subtle I barely noticed it, even when the battery level was on the last bar. There’s just a consistent vape throughout, with near instantaneous power delivery as soon as I take a draw.
You have the option to switch between Eco and Power modes, but in all honesty I didn’t notice much difference between Eco and Power mode in terms of performance. The vape seemed to be of the same quality regardless.
Maybe there might be more of a difference with XROS Series pods of other resistances? I didn’t have any to hand to test it out I’m afraid!
Flavour
I previously got to test out the XROS Series Pods featuring Corex 3.0 technology when I reviewed the XROS 5 device back in May, so I had an idea of what to expect from these pods already!
The latest 0.6ohm XROS pod takes flavour production to entirely new heights compared to the older generations that featured the Corex 2.0 technology, with excellent depth of rich flavour and silky flavour delivery.
These are comfortably some of the best pods I’ve ever tested, striking a perfect balance between deep and intense flavour and an incredibly smooth draw that brings out all the notes in my e-liquids.
Pod Lifespan
I’ve always trusted XROS pods for their consistency, and these upgraded Corex 3.0 versions are genuinely exceptional!
I squeezed more than a week of vaping from my included pod, which is a massive win considering I’m normally thrilled to hit the five-day mark.
Performance has also been flawless, with zero leaks and practically no condensation to worry about.
Airflow
The Vaporesso XROS 6 Mini utilizes an industry-first Venturi Airflow System, which optimises airflow to reduce resistance and deliver a quieter, smoother and natural-feeling draw with every puff.
The Venturi Airflow Effect is a phenomenon first described in the 18th century by Italian physicist Giovanni Battista Venturi, and it is used in various different fields, such as aerospace, medicine, HVAC systems and industrial fluid mechanics. Vaporesso are the first to transfer this into a vaping device!
To briefly explain how it works, when airflow enters a narrow section of a tube or chamber, it has to speed up so that the same volume of air can get through in the same amount of time. As the speed of the air increases, its static pressure simultaneously drops.
Think of it like putting your thumb over the end of a running garden hose: the water is forced through a smaller opening, so it shoots out much faster!
There’s no noticeable whooshing noise from the airflow as I take a draw on it, and vapour delivery feels very smooth with each puff that I take.
Airflow control is smooth as butter and I can easily adjust the airflow on the fly using only my fingernail, with MTL and DTL vaping options supported by closing down or opening up the airflow control.
Battery Life
Vaporesso have packed in a huge battery into such a small device, with the XROS 6 Mini boasting a 1600mAh built in battery, which is one of the largest that I have come across in a device of this size.
This easily sailed through a whole days worth of solid vaping with room to spare, I’m usually the sort of person that chucks my device onto charge at the end of the day but I didn’t often need to here, with it lasting into the next day.

Final Verdict
The Vaporesso XROS 6 Mini sets an outstanding new benchmark for compact pod systems, successfully packing heavy-duty performance into a remarkably pocketable footprint!
The standout achievement here is the massive 1600mAh battery. Fitting this much capacity into an 83.5g mini device effectively eliminates battery anxiety, easily pushing past a full day of heavy vaping without breaking a sweat.
Paired with the new Corex 3.0 pods, the flavour production is exceptional—rich, deep, and perfectly balanced. The pod lifespan is equally impressive, comfortably exceeding a week of solid use with zero leaks or condensation.
Vaporesso’s 60-second Smart Prime feature is another genuine game-changer, completely eliminating the standard five-minute waiting game after your first fill!
The introduction of the industry-first Venturi Airflow System absolutely lives up to the marketing.
It provides a whisper-quiet, silky-smooth draw that easily transitions from a tight MTL to a restricted direct lung (RDL) vape via the precise side slider. Combine this with stellar build quality and a massive array of striking finishes, and the hardware itself is hard to fault.
The device does have a few minor quirks. The option to switch between Eco and Power modes feels somewhat redundant in practice, as there is no discernible difference in vapour quality or performance between the two settings.
Additionally, the 5-level tidal LED indicator—while highly accurate for battery tracking—turns off a bit too quickly after a draw, requiring a fast glance to check your levels.
It is also worth noting that if you want to experience the maximum 30W output, you will need to purchase the 0.4ohm pods separately, as only the 0.6ohm is included in the box.
Despite these minor subjective gripes, the XROS 6 Mini is an absolute powerhouse. If you want a genuinely pocket-friendly, leak-proof device that delivers top-tier flavour and relentless battery life, this is comfortably one of the best refillable mini pod systems on the market today!
