The Smoant Veer Pod Kit is a new pod kit which seems to be targeting the Caliburn market.
Smoant of course are no strangers to a pod mod – with releases such as the Santi Kit, Pasito II, Pasito 1, and Knight 80 in their back catalogue.
What To Expect From The Smoant Veer Pod Kit…
As you can see the Veer has a more than slight resemblance to the Caliburn G – but this isn’t a bad thing as that is a very popular device.
Also like the Caliburn G this has replaceable coils – rather than a disposable refillable pod.
Even better than replaceable coils – are coils which are also compatible with other devices. The Veer uses the Smoant Baby Series of coils which are also used in the Battlestar Baby and Charon Baby kits.
Included in the kit are 2 coils which are wicked with Organic cotton:
- 0.6ohm Mesh
- 1.2ohm Ni80
The pod is refillable with up to 2.3ml of your own e-liquid via the pod side fill port.
By rotating the pod you have 2 airflow choices of a wider open (Direct To Lung – DTL) or more restricted (Mouth To Lung – MTL). We tell you what MTL and DTL mean in our Guide to Vape Styles.
Inside the mod you have a 750mAh internal battery which is recharged via the USB Type C port at up to 2A charge rate.
The output is specified as 10 / 15W – so I assume the mod automatically detects which coil is being used and selects the 10W for the 1.2ohm coil and 15W for the 0.6ohm.
An LED indicator is also provided to inform of battery capacity remaining.
There are 4 colour options to choose from: Saffron, Dark Green, Dark Black and Purple.
