More Details On The Uwell Kalmia Kit…

I kind of get the impression from the advertising and marketing images that this kit is targeted to the “laydees”.

I am a lady (well female anyway) and I find it quite patronising – but I will let Uwell off as their devices are usually excellent and simple to use. Plus I do think their heart is in the right place – noticing that a lot of females do vape.

Why can’t us “Ladies” be targeted in adverts for other kits? Or will they not be as soothing on our fragile lips and hands?

Anyway enough of me being a typical moody woman – let’s have a closer look at what this has to offer.

kalmia components

As said at the beginning of this preview this is a super simple refillable and rechargeable pod kit. It is that simple that there isn’t even a fire button – inhale on the pod and it will automatically fire.

It has a pretty flower shaped LED indicator and a vibration feature to warn of battery capacity remaining and faults.

This uses disposable pods, which basically mean that when the coil inside has deteriorated in performance you throw away the pod section and replace with a new one.

When it comes to filling this will hold up to 1.6ml of your own e-liquid and there is a side fill port on the pod.

The internal battery has a 400mAh capacity and is charged via the USB Type C cable which is included in the kit.

Kalmia charging

As there is only one type of pod – 1.2ohm Kanthal Mesh coil – the output is said to be 13W maximum.

  1. Alert all women! Make sure they use THIS Uwell device instead of the brutal Popreel N1!
That pesky Popreel N1 with it’s 2ml capacity and it’s 520mah battery could completely over power a lady’s lips and fingers!
And don’t get me started on the monstrous Caliburn A2/AK2, which is causing discomfort to women’s lips and fingers across the world.
Respect to Uwell for making such a delicate alternative to their usual hardcore pod kits.
    😂
