Design & Build Quality
With the Crystal Storm Bar 12K Prefilled Pod Kit, you get a boxy, rectangular shaped pod system that is easy to grip in hand, and even though it is slightly on the larger side it still slips into my pocket nicely.
Crystal Storm’s logo is printed prominently on the front of the device, and below this is a discreet LED screen that displays the battery life as a percentage, allowing you to check this quickly and easily on the go.
A range of different colours are available for each kit, and which one you get depends on the flavour that you opt for.
The flavour is printed on the rear of the device, however as you can switch new pods into the device this may not always correlate to the flavour you are vaping!
With the pods, even though these are dark in colour, they still sport a transparent design which allows you to keep track on exactly how much e-liquid remains in the pod.
Quick Start Guide
The Crystal Storm Bar 12K pod kit has one of the easiest set up processes going!
Everything comes in the same wrapper inside the cardboard packaging, just remove the pod and refill container from the device, pull the plugs out and remove the stickers, then press the pod and refill container together and connect it to the device.
Of course, there is an auto-draw system present so just puff on the mouthpiece to vape.
You can also lock the device by taking five very quick puffs on it, and doing the same to unlock it again.
Charging
At the base of the Crystal Storm Bar 12K is a USB-C charging port, just plug a Type-C charging cable into the base and use a suitable power source.
Charging time is pretty speedy, and you can check progress on the LED screen at the base.
Flavours
Juicy Peach
Serious praise for this incredibly well-rounded peach blend is due here!
Rather than taking the easy route and giving us a one-dimensional candy peach flavour, they’ve aimed for pure authenticity—and hit the mark.
Every puff is bursting with the rich, drippingly juicy essence of a fresh orchard peach, capturing not just the taste, but the actual mouthfeel of the real thing.
It’s vibrant, refreshing, and undeniably moreish. That being said, there is one small caveat: the sheer volume of added sweetener borders on being a touch too much.
If you don’t mind a heavily sweetened vape, your sweet tooth will be in heaven, but a slightly lighter touch would have let those gorgeous, natural peach notes shine even brighter.
Lemon Lime
If you enjoy the nostalgic taste of a lemon-lime ice lolly but don’t want brain-freeze, this blend nails the balance!
It offers just a whisper of icy coolness on the exhale, ensuring the bold lemon and lime flavours remain the star of the show. By reigning in the sugar levels that usually dominate these types of e-liquids, the natural, sharp citrus notes are able to punch through beautifully.
I had grown a little tired of Lemon Lime blends recently, however the balance and blend here has been nailed and I really enjoyed this one!
Banana Ice
I’ve always struggled to get on board with the combination of banana and ice—it’s a pairing that has never quite worked for my palate, and I’m still waiting for the e-liquid that finally proves me wrong.
Sadly, this one isn’t the turning point. It falls into the exact same trap as many others on the market, just with the flavour volume turned all the way up.
Instead of the authentic, natural fruit profile I was hoping for, it delivers a heavy, overwhelmingly artificial hit of those retro foam banana sweets.
While the blast of cooling menthol on the exhale does mercifully cut through some of that candied intensity, it just wasn’t enough to save the experience for me.
Blue Sour Raspberry
I’ve developed a real soft spot for blue sour raspberry blends, and this one is a highly respectable addition to the category.
The blue raspberry itself is bold and satisfying, making it a remarkably easy all-day vape.
Where it differs from its rivals is the sour factor- rather than a full-blown tart assault, the sourness here is much more restrained.
You’ll catch it right at the finish, presenting as a gentle, tangy tingle on the tip of the tongue. It might not be the most sour blend out there, but it’s an undeniably tasty and well-balanced vape.
Fresh Mint
No nonsense vaping here- this is crisp and authentic tasting mint leaf all the way through!
The essence of mint has been captured excellently here, providing an authentic taste and a mouth feel similar to chewing on mint flavoured gum, with a nice nip of sweetness right at the end to round things off.
Blueberry Raspberry
The flavour journey on this one kicks off with a robust, undeniably bold blueberry right on the inhale.
It’s a deep, rich berry profile that carries just a whisper of a botanical, floral undertone, adding an unexpected layer of complexity to the mix.
As the vapour settles, a subtle raspberry note begins to emerge, bringing a gentle, tart edge that cuts through the initial sweetness.
While it’s a highly enjoyable and well-crafted blend, it’s worth noting that the flavour ratio isn’t a perfect split; the blueberry is definitely the star of the show here, leaving the sour raspberry to play a very tasty supporting role.
Mr Blue
If you’ve tried other Mr Blue blends before, prepare for a surprise: the aniseed in this one is completely front and centre!
It delivers a heavy floral note that nearly steals the show entirely from the blueberry. Just as it threatens to become a bit too intense, a much-needed icy hit of menthol rolls in to cool things down and refresh your tastebuds.
It’s a bold departure from the norm, making it an absolute must-try for anyone who chases strong, fruity-liquorice profiles.
Blue Razz Gummy Bear
This flavour takes the classic sweet-and-tart profile of blue raspberry and dials the candied vibes up to eleven.
It delivers a rich, syrupy mouthfeel that perfectly captures the chewy, sugary essence of a handful of gummy bears. Be warned, though: the sweetener is off the charts. It’s easily one of the most unapologetically sugary vapes I’ve encountered all year—which is really saying something!
If you have a massive sweet tooth, Blue Razz Gummy Bear will absolutely hit the spot.
Pineapple Ice
If you grew up devouring those yellow, sugar-dusted pineapple cubes from your local newsagent, this e-liquid is going to feel incredibly familiar. Pineapple Ice is an absolute masterclass in replicating that retro candy experience.
It kicks off with a vibrant, unapologetically sweet pineapple flavour that coats your tastebuds—feeling just like the first few seconds of popping one of those classic sweets into your mouth.
But the real magic happens on the exhale: a zesty, tart bite creeps in to deliver a satisfyingly sour kick, perfectly balancing out the initial sugar rush. It’s sweet, it’s sharp, and it is ridiculously moreish.
Strawberry Raspberry Cherry Ice
The inhale immediately greets you with a sweet, vibrant rush of strawberry and raspberry. Just beneath that bright surface lies a wonderfully bold and rich cherry undertone that really anchors the profile, and a subtle cooling finish at the end.
I must say the cherry flavouring is absolutely top-tier, delivering a thick, authentic depth that elevates the entire experience.
Be prepared, though: this juice packs a serious punch! The flavour is incredibly concentrated, leaving a lingering, satisfying aftertaste long after you’ve set your vape down!
Blueberry Cherry Cranberry
Right off the bat, a bold blueberry takes command, leaving the cherry notes struggling to keep up.
While the cherry is present, it feels like a missed opportunity, largely because an overwhelming wave of sweetness drowns out its natural tartness.
I also pick up on a sour cranberry kick right at the tail end of the exhale, though I’ll admit cranberry isn’t my usual go-to in a vape, but it does add a much-needed sharp contrast to all that sugar.
Ultimately, this is a heavy-hitting, lingering blend where blueberry is the clear star of the show!
Mixed Berries
Front and centre, this blend is a full-throttle collision of bold blueberry and punchy raspberry, all backed up by a serious, heavy-handed wave of sugary sweetness.
To be completely honest, if there are any hidden or nuanced flavour notes lurking in the background of this mix, they completely bypassed my palate!
It plays things incredibly safe, sticking firmly to that classic, tried-and-true berry duo without overcomplicating the recipe. That said, what it lacks in multi-layered complexity, it more than makes up for in execution. The two berries marry together flawlessly to create a smooth, candy-like vape.
If you are a die-hard fan of straightforward, highly sweetened berry profiles, this is a fool-proof addition to your rotation!
Blue Cherry Pineapple
From the very first draw, your tastebuds are hit with a vibrant collision of flavours: a sharp, zesty punch of tropical pineapple seamlessly melted into a thick, jam-like blueberry.
As that initial wave settles, a remarkably dark and luscious cherry note steps in to ground the entire profile, ensuring the tropical tartness doesn’t overpower the mix.
The synergy between this trio is genuinely impressive, creating a rich, syrupy mouthfeel that effortlessly bridges the gap between comforting, dark forest berries and exotic tang.
Vimtru
If you grew up in the UK, the taste of that classic purple cordial is pure nostalgia. This blend does a brilliant job of bottling that iconic blend of dark fruits!
Right off the draw, I’m hit with a thick, syrupy blend of bold blackcurrant and sweet grape. It perfectly mimics the concentrated, sugary punch of the actual squash, delivering a deeply satisfying, robust dark-fruit base.
On the exhale a vibrant flash of tart raspberry cuts through the heavy berries. What really elevates this into a true homage, though, is the finish- a very subtle, lightly spiced botanical note creeps in.
It isn’t overpowering, but it provides that signature edge that makes the famous drink instantly recognizable!
How Does The Crystal Storm Bar 12K Prefilled Pod Kit Perform?
Each of the pods for the Crystal Storm Bar 12K has a 0.8ohm mesh coil set up, with power delivery fixed at a 13W output. Neither the airflow nor power output are adjustable.
In terms of the draw, the Crystal Storm Bar 12K is set up for a mouth-to-lung vape, one which was surprisingly tighter than I thought it would be, it’s more in line with the draw I would expect from a thinner, pen-styled disposable of old.
Nicotine strength is your standard 20mg, and as a nicotine salt formulation is used I get pretty rapid craving satisfaction, with no harsh throat hit on any of the flavours. The draw is clean and smooth!
Having a 1200mAh battery built-in means that you can vape away throughout the day without any worries, and as it is rechargeable you can retain the device and replace your used pod with a brand new one.
How Many Puffs Do You Get From A Crystal Storm Bar 12K Prefilled Pod Kit?
With each pod and refill container, the marketing blurb states that you can get up to 12,000 puffs, but this is very much dependent upon how frequently you vape and for how long you take a draw for.
Whilst testing the Pineapple Ice flavour out, I tallied the puffs that I got from it and this came out at 7,685 puffs. That was with taking long, 3-4 second puffs each time, so I got well over a week from a single pod and refill container!
I will also say that during my time testing these out, I didn’t have any leaks from the pods, these stayed consistently dry throughout use and there wasn’t even a drop of condensation to be found!

Final Verdict
One of the biggest strengths of the Crystal Storm Bar 12K Prefilled Pod Kit range is the strength of its flavours, which can make or break a range of prefilled pod kits.
Throughout the range, there’s quality flavours throughout, which taste pretty much as you would expect them to and I didn’t feel that any of them were overflavoured or too artificial tasting.
Though, if you prefer a dessert or tobacco flavour then you are out of luck here- unless of course the range is expanded in the future!
Another plus point here is that the battery is solid enough to keep you vaping through a full days worth of use, whereas some other pod systems do fall short in this regard. No battery anxiety here with the Crystal Storm Bar 12K range!
