OXVA’s latest entry into the XLIM range is the OXVA XLIM GO Lite, which promises to offer affordable and easy vaping at an incredibly low price!oxva xlim go lite review

I firmly rate the OXVA XLIM range of pod systems as the best out there, having been fortunate enough to review devices such as the XLIM 3 Ultra, XLIM PRO 3 and XLIM Pro 2 DNA- all of which are game changers and devices I still use daily!

Of course, OXVA aren’t just known for the XLIM range, they have also released the outstanding NeXLIM and NeXLIM Go (and we’ve reviewed the pods separately for these devices recently!) as well as their own e-liquids with the OX Passion range.

What Can We Expect From The OXVA XLIM GO Lite?

With the XLIM GO Lite, OXVA are aiming to introduce a super-value entry level pod system that is accessible to all, for under £10!

This is a pod system that is designed for convenience, with effortless operation and long-lasting performance, offering a seamless transition for beginner vapers.front view oxva xlim go lite

The XLIM GO Lite is also a device that can keep up with your demands, as a single charge of the built-in 1000mAh battery offers up to two days worth of heavy usage, eliminating battery anxiety.

Regardless of the situation, the OXVA XLIM GO Lite keeps up without the need to constantly recharge your device.

There’s compatibility with the outstanding OXVA XLIM Top Fill Cartridges, giving you market-leading performance when it comes to flavour and the longevity of your pod.

OXVA’s flagship Unitech 2.0 technology is found in each XLIM Top Fill Cartridge, delivering clean and consistent flavour with each puff and a level of performance that is rarely seen in entry-level devices.

A five-layered leak-proof design ensures you have a clean and worry-free vaping companion, with 50% more flavour and 50% longer lifespan over other competitors pods. Effortless top-filling gives you a quick and clean filling process.oxva xlim go lite back

So, from the very first pod, you can get a clean and consistent vaping experience without the need for any complex set up process or adjustments to your device!

Each of the XLIM Top Fill Cartridges can support up to ten refills, which delivers usage comparable to around 15 disposable devices, delivering huge cost savings and a big reduction in waste.

You can also adjust the airflow to dial in your preferred airflow setting, and a tri-colour RGB battery indicator allows you to check your battery level at a quick glance.

Many thanks to OXVA for sending the XLIM GO Lite in for review, let’s see what it has to offer!

And as always, all views are my own…

Design & Build Quality

Much like the XLIM GO 2, the XLIM GO Lite is constructed from PCTG and IML, featuring dimensions of 113.65mm x 25.73mm x 15.58mm and a weight of just 41.5g, making it a perfect pocket friendly pod system!oxva xlim go lite in hand

I must say that it does feel a little cheaper in terms of build quality when compared to some of the other XLIM devices available, but considering as this is a sub-£10 pod system I am not complaining!

Eight different colour finishes are available, with Light Blue, Light Pink, Light Purple, Mist White, Mist Blue, Black, Brown and Black Carbon options available.

I was sent the Light Blue and Black Carbon options for review, with the Light Blue version looking like shiny textured marble from a distance and the Black Carbon version definitely sharing design inspiration from the OXVA XLIM Ultra 3 and the XLIM PRO 3!blue black xlim go lite

On the front of the device is a raised nubbin that displays the tri-colour battery RGB when vaping, and OXVA say that you can give this a good old rub for anxiety or stress relief…design oxva xlim go lite

I can’t say it worked for me but each to their own!

Quick Start Guide

How to Fill the Pod

Refilling the XLIM GO Lite is highly convenient, thanks to its top-fill cartridge design that allows you to top up your e-liquid without ever removing the pod from the device!how to fill xlim cartridge

Simply lift the silicone plug located on the side of the pod, insert your bottle nozzle, and fill the pod up to the brim, taking care not to overfill it otherwise e-liquid will spill out the side!

If you are priming a brand-new XLIM Top Fill Cartridge, be sure to let the e-liquid sit for about five minutes before vaping.

This ensures the cotton is completely saturated, which prevents unpleasant dry hits and maximizes the lifespan of your XLIM Top Fill Cartridge.

Operation

Using the XLIM GO Lite is incredibly straightforward thanks to its intuitive auto-draw activation.black oxva xlim go lite

Once you’ve filled your pod and let it prime, simply inhale to begin vaping—no buttons required!

The device also features a convenient LED indicator on the front panel that illuminates with every draw, utilizing a simple tri-colour system to display your remaining battery life:

  • Green: 65% – 100%

  • Blue: 30% – 65%

  • Red: 0% – 30%

Charging

A Type-C charging port is found on the side of the device, and the XLIM GO Lite charges at a 5V/1A rate.usb charge port oxva xlim go lite

Now, that isn’t the speediest charging rate by any means, but for the 1000mAh battery it does the job just fine.

I’ve found that it will charge a flat battery up to full in under an hour!

Safety Features

  • 8 second vaping overtime cut-off
  • Overheating protection
  • Low battery protection
  • Short circuit protection

How Does The OXVA XLIM GO Lite Perform?

Output power is a maximum of 30W, making the XLIM GO Lite one of the most powerful devices in this price range!

Power output is fixed however, and dependent on the resistance of the coil in the XLIM Top Fill Cartridge that you are using. You can’t adjust the wattage with this device.power button oxva xlim go lite

So, if you do want to vape in the 30W range with this device, you will need to use the 0.4ohm XLIM Top Fill Cartridge as this will draw the most power from the battery.

With the included 0.8ohm Top Fill Cartridge, this will draw around 16W of output power from the battery, with an instantaneous ramp up time.magnetic cartridge battery

16W makes this great for vaping mouth-to-lung with some nicotine salt based e-liquids!

Power delivery is very stable during use, I didn’t have any weird power fluctuations whilst using it, and power delivery also remains consistent right down to an almost empty battery!

Flavour

Having spent a good portion of the past year testing out XLIM Top Fill replacement pods, I can confidently say they set the gold standard for flavour in today’s market!oxva xlim go lite cartridge

Whether you’re running different e-liquid blends or ratios, these pods consistently produce a remarkably smooth, pristine, and vibrant taste.

The 0.6ohm pod is the perfect showcase of their versatility, offering a top-tier experience no matter how you prefer to draw, as this caters to MTL and RDL vaping.

For a more intense MTL vape, the included 0.8ohm pod does the job better than pretty much any other, and is a perfect match for high-strength nicotine salt based e-liquids.

If you prefer a more powerful RDL vape, then the 0.4ohm XLIM Top Fill Cartridge is outstanding, offering a high-powered intense RDL draw that absolutely bursts with exceptional flavour!

Plus, the wicking with these pods is practically flawless—you can chain-vape to your heart’s content, and the cotton keeps right up without a single dry hit!

Pod Lifespan

The 0.8ohm XLIM Top Fill Cartridge included in the kit lasted me roughly ten days before needing a replacement, perfectly aligning with the impressive lifespan I’ve come to expect from XLIM Top Fill Cartridges.mouthpiece oxva xlim go lite

I’ve even had some push past the two-week mark, a benchmark that genuinely leads the industry in pod longevity!

Furthermore, daily usage is entirely leak-proof; the most you will encounter is a slight bit of standard condensation under the pod that requires only an occasional quick wipe.

Airflow

On the side of the XLIM Go device is a sliding adjustable airflow toggle, which allows you to open up or close down the airflow depending on your vaping preferences.oxva xlim go lite airflow

Even though this is marketed as a mouth-to-lung device, I found that the device caters to both mouth to lung and restricted direct lung vapers, delivering a smooth vape regardless of the airflow setting.

It definitely delivers a restricted lung hit when using either the 0.4ohm or 0.6ohm XLIM Top Fill Cartridge, with the airflow fully open.

I’m pleased that the ability to adjust the airflow is present as not many other devices in this price range allow you to adjust the airflow!

Battery Life

With the OXVA XLIM Go, you get a 1000mAh battery built into the device that is marketed as offering up to two days of heavy use from a single charge.

Now, this will depend on your own vaping habits as well as the resistance of the XLIM Top Fill Cartridge that you are using.oxva branding

Certainly, whilst using the included 0.8ohm XLIM Top Fill Cartridge, I could get almost two days worth of heavy vaping before needing a charge! I would imagine the

Battery life does understandably take a hit when using the 0.4ohm and 0.6ohm XLIM Top Fill Cartridges, as these do draw more power from the battery.

Though, I could still get a full day when vaping the 0.6ohm XLIM Top Fill Cartridge, but the 0.4ohm one would fall just short of a full days heavy vaping!

Pros

  • One of the best sub-£10 kits on the market
  • Compatible with OXVA’s excellent XLIM Top Fill Cartridges
  • Pods last an absolute age
  • Plug and play device, beginner friendly
  • Quick charging device
  • Good battery life
  • Lightweight, pocket friendly design

Cons

  • Build quality feels a little on the cheap side compared to other XLIM devices
  • Only one pod included in the kit
  • Fixed power output, can’t adjust the wattage

Final Verdict

OXVA have developed an entry level XLIM device with the OXVA XLIM GO Lite, giving vapers an entry into the outstanding XLIM ecosystem at an incredibly low price.

You have got a device here that utilizes OXVA’s market leading XLIM Top Fill Cartridges, which deliver some of the very best flavour you can get from a refillable pod and incredible longevity too.

It is a fantastic option to consider if you are looking to make the jump to refillable pod systems, are looking for a cheap new daily driver or a backup to your main kit. It fills any of those roles admirably!

Also, regardless of whether your preference is to vape mouth-to-lung or a restricted lung hit, you’ll be at home here as the XLIM GO Lite caters to both styles of vaping thanks to adjustable airflow and compatibility with the XLIM Top Fill Cartridges.

Oh, and did I mention that this is a sub-£10 reusable pod system? Well, there are quite a few UK-based retailers offering this kit for as little as £6.99, which is unbeatable value for what you get here.

You can’t do much better for your money!

Vaping full time since 2012, started on cigalikes for a while then curiosity got the better of me and I moved onto an vape pens, a month or two later I was seeing people walking around with these interesting shiny tubes and I thought 'I gotta get one of those'. Before I knew it a trip down to my local B&M got me my first VW mod, an Innokin SVD, paired with an iClear 30, and I was hooked. Soon after that I was jumping to VW mods both box and tube shaped, before I then made the jump to rebuilding and thus sub ohming, with my first RDA and mech mod. These days I've come back to convenience and mainly use pods, disposables and the VOOPOO Drag H40. Most importantly I am still loving vaping!
