Time for a pod kit from a brand I am not familiar with – the Nevoks Feelin A1!
However we at Ecigclick became acquainted with the brand in 2022 when we reviewed the Nevoks Feelin X pod kit.
Nevoks were created in 2019 in Shenzhen China. Their mission is to…
“build a non-tobacco and healthy world. To achieve this, we offer innovative stylish products, exceptional user experience, and reliable pre-sales and after-sales service.”
The Feelin range began in 2020 with the original Feelin Pod Kit, then the Feelin Mini in 2021 and the above mentioned Feelin X and Feelin C1 were the next in the series. They also created the Pagee and APX ranges.
Thank you to Nevoks for sending these over for review! I will report back honestly on the devices in my possession.
What To Expect From The Nevoks Feelin A1 Pod Kit…
This does give off the impression of being a very “back to basics” starter pod kit – but it does have some more advanced features!
Firstly the body conceals a 1000mAh battery which is charged using the USB Type C port at a 1A charge rate.
The output is specified as 10-30W, but the device will recognise the pod installed and then allow you 3 output levels to suit the coil resistance.
You can either use the manual fire button or simply inhale on the mouthpiece to trigger the auto draw firing.
An LED is provided to view the device status, battery level and power level.
On the rear of the device an airflow adjustment slider is provided to tailor the incoming airflow to your preference.
Looking at the pods, these have a fixed coil – so you will discard the pod section when the coil performance drops.
There are quite a few pod options to choose from – 0.4ohm, 0.6ohm, 0.8ohm and 1.2ohm. The 0.4ohm and 0.6ohm are included in the kit.
Also there are two styles of pod – a 3ml standard version with a side fill port or a 2ml TPD pod which has a removable mouthpiece to access the top fill port.
Nevoks promise a faster firing and increased airflow due to the 4 airflow inlets on the base of the coil which should result in better flavour too!
There are 7 colour options to choose from: Grey, Red, Blue, Pink, Gold, Purple and Black.

Nevoks Feelin A1 Design and Build Quality
I received the Black, Grey and Blue versions.
The packaging was classy with a cardboard over-sleeve which uncovered a cardboard tray with a foam cut out to house the device and a smaller cardboard box for the rest of the kit.
The instructions are some of the best I have seen in a while. Yes they are tiny but there are 10 pages in one language only. Plus there was a card with more details about the different pod options.
Sadly there are no online instructions – I often find it useful to view them online or download PDF if the writing is very small.
Nevoks also kindly sent me a carry case and various different pods in different resistances / fill methods / capacities.
Nevoks Feelin A1 Mod
The design does remind me a bit of the Uwell Caliburn G / G2 with the textured panel and circular fire button.
The body is mainly a metal shell made of Aluminium Alloy which makes it nice and light – even with a full pod. It has a matte metallic finish in the colour of your choice.
Looking first at the front of the mod, at the top is a cute “e-liquid viewing window” which has a nice design and also you can clearly see the “minimum” level marking on the pod. But as it is only cut out on the front, the window is quite dark so not a total success.
Moving down and the centre area of the front has a textured panel in an oval shape which features the tiny LED indicator. The LED is bright but could do with being a bit bigger.
Below that is the 9mm diameter circular fire button which has a “record groove” texture which feels good and is easy to locate. It is nice and clicky and quick to respond to the multiple presses required to access some features.
Towards the bottom of the front is the “Nevoks” logo printed vertically – the colour of the text varies according to the device colour.
Each side of the device has a shiny mirror finish panel and on the USB Type C port side it also has the text “5V 1A” and “3.7V 3.7Wh” etched in.
On the rear you will find the airflow adjustment slider. This is very effective but is quite loose to slide, so you may find it moves accidentally. My only gripe with the design is the location of this slider as I often blocked the incoming airflow as the inlet is where I would grip the mod.
The base features the required legal logos and appears to be made from Black plastic with a grooved texture.
At the top is the pod compartment, this is very deep so might not be that easy to access for cleaning etc, but as I have so far had no leaks I don’t see an issue.
Inside the pod compartment are 2 spring loaded connectors and 2 magnets which match up with the magnets on the pod base. The pod is held in firmly with no wobbly wobbly!
Auto Lock
When you don’t use A1 for 1 minute, the button will lock, you need to auto-draw to start it again. If you want to turn off this feature, 3-click while the device is switched off.
Nevoks A1 Pod
I was supplied with both styles of pod…
Side Fill 3ml Pod
This for me was the best design. The whole pod is a tinted colour and the top half is perfectly clear. The bottom half has a slight frosting which is a shame.
Even so the e-liquid level is clear to see.
I love the mouthpiece it is wide but slim in thickness and quite square, but extremely comfortable in use.
On one side the resistance and “Nevoks A1” is clearly marked and both sides have a “min” level line etched in.
The fill port is covered by a Silicone cover with the lift side marked with an arrow and a small indent to allow you to insert a nail to lift the cover.
The fill port is an oval shape and roughly 5mm by 3.5ml and it was fine for my 30ml and 60ml bottles.
On the base you will find the required legal logos etched in, plus the 4 airflow inlets, 2 electrical contacts and 2 strong magnets.
Top Fill 2ml Pod
This pod is for us poor buggers in the TPD regulated areas as it will only hold 2ml.
It is the same height as the 3ml pod which surprised me.
This time the top half of the pod is covered by the Black plastic removable mouthpiece. It is not as difficult to remove as some top fill pods I have tried but it does take a bit of budging.
I suggest snapping it off by gripping the pod and mouthpiece. I have added a video in the filling section.
Below that you will find a Silicone lift up cover with an arrow and a cut out to lift with a finger nail.
You can then swing the cover out of the way to access the port.
As with the side fill pod, this has an oval fill port measuring roughly 3.5ml by 5ml and it performed fine with my e-liquid bottles.
With the fill port cover lifted you can also access the vapour outlet path – which should not be used to add e-liquid as this will cause spitting and flooding.
The rest of the pod is the same as the side fill, with the slightly frosted bottom half, the same printing and base.
The capacity is reduced as the pod does not continue behind the mouthpiece – it has a flat top.
Quick Start Guide
The device arrives with no pod installed. So you can choose your pod, fill with e-liquid and get vaping! I will cover the process below!
Nevoks recommend an e-liquid ratio of 50%VG up to 70%VG for all of the pods. The included tips card also shows the recommended airflow settings for each pod.
Basic Operation
- Power On/Off = Press the fire button 5 times to turn on and off.
- Vaping = Hold down the fire button to vape or simply inhale on the mouthpiece to trigger the auto draw activation.
- Battery indicator = The LED will show Green for 60-100% charge remaining, Blue for 30-60% and Red for 0-30%.
- Battery indicator when charging = The LED will cycle through the above colours and turn off when fully charged.
- Airflow: Slide the airflow slider up and down. Up = more restricted airflow, down = less airflow restriction.
- Adjust output = Press the fire button 3 times. Every time you press the fire button 3 times the LED will change colour to indicate the mode selected – Green (high – 3.5-3.6V), Blue (medium 3.4V) and Red (low 3.2V). When the satisfied with the level displayed leave the device and it will go back into standby mode.
Protections
- No Atomiser / Resistance too high: If the resistance is over 3.5ohm or there is an open circuit the LED will flash White for 15 seconds. Check the pod is installed correctly, clean contacts or replace with a new pod.
- Low Battery: If the battery voltage is below 3.3V the Red LED will flash 15 times and the device will stop working until it is recharged.
- Short circuit: If the resistance is less than 0.25ohm or there is a short circuit, the LED indicator will light up White for 5 seconds. Check the pod is installed correctly, clean contacts or replace with a new pod.
- Over time protection: If vaping for longer than 10 seconds the fire will cut out and the LED will flash 5 times. Restart vaping as usual.
- Overheat protection: If the circuit board is hotter than 85°C the White LED will flash 3 times and the device will not work until it has cooled down.
- Pod installed: White LED will flash.
How To Charge The Battery
The charging rate is specified as 1A.
This does have “pass through” charging – meaning you can vape on it whilst charging.
- Using a USB type C cable, connect the small end into the USB port on the mod.
- Connect the large end of the cable into a suitable USB outlet.
- The LED will cycle through the colours and turn off when fully charged.
I found this to take around an hour to charge from empty.
How To Fill the Pod
There are 2 pod styles – the top fill and side fill so I will cover the filling methods for both.
If using a new pod leave to stand for 5-10 minutes after first fill to allow the coil to saturate with e-liquid.
Make sure to fill when the e-liquid level is above the minimum marking on the side of the pod.
Top Fill
- Push on the mouthpiece to get it to click off. I have recorded how I do it below (excuse my dodgy hands!)
